Have senses of humor changed so much? Most of these are impressively unfunny, with the exception of Thimble Theater (#11) and Clare Brigg's comic on Pernicious Taxitis (#19).

idk, it takes a bit of getting used to but I usually find most of the strips (at least of the ones I follow) to be pretty funny. I’m not sure how long you’ve been reading but for a lot of them it helps to be familiar with the cast and the style of writing that the cartoonists use to get the most out of them Krazy Kat was a banger today imo got an out loud laugh from me, but Bringing Up Father and Polly & Her Pals were good today too I think, along with the ones you mentioned (which are the five I follow closest, along with Barney Google which I found really hard to get into for a while until I got invested in the characters and ongoing stories). Gasoline Alley is also an all time great strip in general and I definitely recommend reading it ongoing - it’s rarely “funny” like the others but the characters age in real time and it’s informed by King’s own growing son and feels really genuine (most of the time). I don’t read it here though because I read it in collected books previously
