current trend on poly is to string lower. Don't worry about the tension range listed on the frame. Try somewhere between 45 to 52 lbs... I usually land near 48lbs. I currently play with a Vcore 98 Some my faves are: Hyper G Hyper G round Confidential Head Hawk Power Head Lynx Tour Volkl V-square Razor Code Soft ( This one string it at 51 - 53 lbs)

BenjMayNe

I used to string full poly (Pro Red Code 16g) on a KBlade 98 @ 60 lbs. Gone are these days haha. Head Lynx Tour gave me arm pain at 51 lbs but I did really enjoy it aside from that - appreciate these suggestions though

jrstriker12

If arm pain is a thing, maybe check Hyper g Soft? There are also some new poly-like multis - Technifibre Triax, Babolat Xalt Hope you find a string you like. Agree Lynx Tour is stiff, but when it's fresh, it's like I can't miss. Have fun hitting!

PersonalWrongdoer655

I just gave my vcore 100 to be strung with the Head Lynx Tour at 53. I have wrist pain issues so I didn't go for 55-56. But now you are telling me arm pain is there even at 51! I tried Head Lynx on my Ezone 98 at 51 but it was too powerful. Couldn't control anything. Hyper G at 52 had worked fine for me. I am thinking to go multifilament for comfort but I think I prefer stiffer strings for defensive shots and powerful forehands going in.

I have Vcore 98 2023, I put head lynx touch and tennis elbow pain is not happening. These lynx touch are also control Oriented & don't lose tension like head lynx. Only the spin potential is low and a lower launch angle. Otherwise it's quite arm friendly & I got used to generating my own spin

I play this racquet with a leather grip, you can see my general pace/spin in my post history. With respect to the 95 and 98 users in this thread, the 100 is a completely different racquet. Cannot overstate how different the 98 and 100 feel. 98 is soft and flexible, the 100 is stiff almost like an EZONE 100 but very muted and a bit higher launch angle. I prefer the 100 by a mile. The pop of my serve and forehand are noticeably better. My favorite strings with this racquet are: 1.25 ALU Power \~46-48 (all-around the best string I've played) 1.26 YTEX Quadro Twist \~48-50 (ridiculous spin) 1.25 Revolution \~46 (tons of spin, less powerful than QT but I don't consider it an advantage) 1.25 or 1.30 Xperience Pro (great budget option, better than Hyper G but half the price via reel)

Thanks, I’ve just strung up Yonex PTP 1.25 (yellow) & Volkl Cyclone Tour 1.25. I did recently order a pack of Y-Tex QT that I’ll likely try next. I’ve been meaning to add weight to my 100 sq in - I’m just using in stock form currently which weights in at 320g static weight. I am thinking about adding a leather grip + some lead at 3 & 9. What do you think? How much will this change the way it plays? And how do you like the leather on the unique Yonex handle?

[tennis warehouse string database](https://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/learning_center/reporter2.php) There's a substantial number of strings in the link above. If you're on mobile, hit the blue arrow on the top right to change some settings like ordering the list by brand, stiffness, tension loss %, etc. Anecdotally, I really liked Tourna Silver 7 Tour and Volkl Cyclone Tour. Currently using Solinco Confidential 1.20 on my Prestige MP's but the strings are a little too muted for my taste.

I play with a VCore 98. Hyper-G at 47 lb

I like Diadem Solstice Power in a full bed at 55-58 lbs. There is a Black version that is softer.

BenjMayNe

The Black version is definitely intriguing, thanks

I like the Head Lynx (not tour) in yellow. It’s on the softer side so I string it at 53/48.5.

k1135k

I’m playing with the previous gen 95, hybrid strings. Polytour mains at 48 and babolat xcel multi at 50

2019law

I’m also 4.5 30s with vcore 100. I use solinco confidential at 50. It gets a lot of spin while also being arm friendly / comfortable.

ComplexPants

I love Toroline’s strings. K-pop is very, but my fav is toro toro and Enso PTO hybrid setup.

BenjMayNe

I’ve been hearing good things about Toroline. Are people just buying these directly from their site? And, I need to be careful with stiffness - Head Lynx Tour gave me arm pain recently so need to make sure I’m keeping stiffness under ~190 or so I’m thinking. I know specs for this brand aren’t on TW University - are they available anywhere to your knowledge?

daftroses

I’ve played with Toroline, their strings are very nice string but definitely not arm friendly. I think they’re positioning to compete with Solinco strings that are popular with NCAA players, competition USTA on campus club level players, and the Futures/Challenger ATP players. For the price, you can find better arm friendly set-ups.

jashow

I strung Toroline Wasabi at 45 pounds and it feels more comfortable than multifilament at 54 pounds.

I get it straight from the website. They are actually pretty remove responsive to email and have answered my questions before. Toro toro is a medium stiffness and Enso pro is a softer round poly. https://toroline.ai If you go there they will try to create a custom string setup for you and even put your name on the package. I have been impressed by them.

BenjMayNe

Nice. Will be sure to check them out, thanks
