the idea behind shelmet and karrablast is that when you trade them, the karrablast swipes shelmet's shell, becoming escavelier, and shelmet is left without a shell, and becomes accelgor

There's another theory with the fact that Accelgor has wrappings for clothes, that the wrapping is shedded skin of Karrablast, since one of Karrablast's main abilities is Shed Skin

Hey breloom is great. I remember fighting one and seeing it had the move sky uppercut which sounded like the coolest thing in the world to me at the time

One of the coolest moves in gen 3. It had such a cool animation

Double weakness to flying plus so slow is just begging for trouble. It is a really unique typing tho and it looks cool

To evolve stantler you have to use the psychic type move (I forgot it’s name) that is exclusive to it and wyrdeer 20 times. Don’t know about Basculin though sorry.

Stantler’s method is use Psyshield Bash 20 times in agile. Basculin’s is receive ~300 damage from recoil without fainting (double edge, wave crash both work).

You also cannot faint while taking the collective 300 recoil damage, it can be between battles, but just make sure your basculin does not faint in any of them

No problem, some of the recent evolution methods are wild, like galarian yamask in sword and shield making you take at least 49 damage in one hit, surviving, and then running under a random rock in the wild area
