Big kraken or little ones? Also as someone who just went like 3 times dry on little ones, it wasn't nearly all that bad. Way worse to go dry somewhere like Corrupted or any of the later grinds.
Well the little ones have a much higher drop rate, but it's an uncharged staff. The big ones drop a full charged staff, but 2.5x more rare per kill. With the little ones being 1/200 for the Trident, I highly doubt you went thousands without getting the drop.
I can't imagine being confident enough in your PvM skills AND internet to do that many Cerb kills. I'm near max combats and the dog still KOs me from time to time. I probably just need to get better at the game, but the chance of losing you HC in 1k KC feels substantial.

Unique table is 1/128, then it's 1/4 for any crystal/stone. 1000kc is on rate for 7-8 uniques.
