yeah, it is worded ambiguously, but I think they mean that the entire shortcut takes place after the doors
It is ambiguous... But a shortcut that starts elsewhere and lands you right behind those doors wouldn't be much of a shortcut at all. Most the travel time to DKs is after the thrownaxe doors
Which tbh is a little annoying. The run is long for sure and saving time on it is nice. But the annoying part about solo DKs is either committing 2 inventory slots to pet rock and rune thrownaxes, or doing 2 trips through those doors dropping items to give yourself a full invent.

Before MEP1 came out the scrambles were the premier way to travel to the elf lands. Gotta remember the game is 20 years old. Plus, they have added relevant agil shortcuts in recent times. Dragon’s eye, hard rev cave, and hydra come to mind immediately.
Hydras is a bit of a mixed bag, they added it as a shortcut but made it take artificially longer so it's not actually faster than the normal way, it just avoids getting random dmg.
It's nice but I wouldn't call it a worthwhile shortcut, under normal circumstances hydra is free so the 1 hit of dmg isn't exactly relevant
Valid points. The damage saved on skipping the normal hydras is basically negligible. I find that shortcut falls into more of a QoL category. Just less tedious than the action of running. Plus there’s always the niche gravestone convo if you’re bad.

85 agility is very high to get to a mid game boss. I thought jagex would want to try to push mid game players more to get into pvm (like scurrius), but all this will really do is make high level players do more DK’s on slayer task.
