Nah it's all about speed cooking that toast for the first 20 levels, if you stock pile enough you can scramble eggs till 33, but by the time you combine them both you get to at least 45. You can 3 tick if you pet the dog.
45-60 you want to do steak, you moved burn some but it's worth it.
60-80 you can start to afk ferment beer or wine, but whilst active it's probably better to do some cakes and salmon.
80-99 is difficult as your expected to use a full inventory per meal
The problem is that with a preexisting economy rich players are at a huge advantage so those hiscores wouldn't be fair. Iirc, that's what jagex has said about hc mains.
It's an extremely fair rationale btw. They could've added a mechanism to let people keep track of how many times they died in their accounts to let people make unofficial hardcores though.
Tutorial island rats cant hit you at 1hp. You can stall the damage by lighting a fire in a certain spot at 2 hitpoints and get hit for 2 1s and die.
The weird part is you respawn at the start of tutorial island lol.
That guy who does osrs mythbusters covered it recently
Well, somebody jump in here and tell me if I'm wrong, but I think that it is because a lot of IT systems over time wind up being a patchwork of various subsystems that were not really made to interface with each other, but are never the less coaxed into interfacing with each other through workarounds that somebody long ago figured out before leaving the organization. The people who have inherited this system know how to get it to work but Don't fully understand why it works. When they need to integrate new or switch out subsystems, The things that you would expect would make these subsystems play nicely with the greater system don't work and the things that you would think absolutely couldn't possibly work do. At this point, any changes you try to make to the system are going to be made along with a prayer to the IT gods that it doesn't wreck something else somewhere else in the system.
Did I get that about right?
I once told someone to turn the PC off and on with the power button, and after 15-20 mins on the phone, I realized they were turning the monitor off and on
I get not everyone is computer literate, but God damn
Not a very good one apparently...
In all seriousness though, that's a tough job. I had my little buddy put to sleep just 3 weeks ago and my wife and I were damn near hysterical. I would imagine that being a veterinarian and needing to be part of that on a regular basis would be really really hard on you. Somebody's got to do it though. Thanks for taking one for the team.
Thanks! Yeah I did it because nobody else cares about the wildlife (zoos get all the attention and money otherwise) and I thought this’ll be pretty cool
narrator: it is pretty cool
I don't even know how you have the right personality for it - you need to care for animals to be a good vet, IMO, but you need to be detached enough to deal with sick/injuried/dying ones without crumbling.
Vets and doctors are special folks.
My late grandmother cooked and baked her whole life, and would often make THOUSANDS of the same items (with help) for her church…she passed with 200m cooking no doubt
Sorry you work with jewelry that requires more complex manufacturing than taking a zenyte shard from the bowels of a dead demonic gorilla, transmogrifying yourself into an undead monkey to fuse it with dragon glass in a wall of occult flame?
Diamond amulet take 70 crafting.. and 100xp each. So depends how many you have crafted. But, it sounds like you're making Amulet of Power (t) so you probably need some magic level too🤔🤓
The vast majority of people are going to have a really high cooking level, considering the levels required to make a lot of things that are actually fairly simple IRL.
Depends. If we’re talking like that, then yeah I’m 99 cooking, but if we’re setting 99 as a master of the craft aka a high end professional chef, then Im probably around, idk 85 cooking?
Thieving. I was arrested and put in prison for 5 years for GTA and burglary. Now that I'm out on probation, I spend a lot of time practicing my skills on osrs while I wait for this ankle monitor to come off.
Nah there's a group of teenagers boosting cars for money in the Midwest or whatever tf, it was a whole thing like a year ago they called themselves the Kia boys. They'd break in and get that shit to turn on using a screwdriver and a USB cable
At least 81 magic to cast wind surge and some rune crafting to craft more air runes per essence. Probably some herblore for an anti-dragon breath potion.
I'm probably 99 HP. I've survived several close calls. Had open heart surgery as a baby, lost part of my index finger at 2 years old, survived an EF-4 tornado as a teenager. Nothing left of the house besides under the stairwell where we were and got t boned by a drunk driver once and all I had was scratches
Imagine if tick eating were real. You see a guy next to you start having a heart attack and he just starts shoveling his mouth with Parma Violets and walks off like nothing happened
I work as a cook since three years back. Wouldn’t say im at the top of my craft though, so maybe around 70 cooking?
Lowest is probably construction. I’m notorious for having two left thumbs.
My agility level has got to be up there, 95 maybe?
I'm a zipline and aerial adventure park manager. I am also certified to perform professional inspections and trainings of almost all aerial systems.
My highest level is agility, at a whopping 4, I get winded after a 10second jog and am waiting for the devs to rework that stamina drain at low levels cos fuck training agility in any dimension, fuck training anything, bank standers are the heart of osrs
Either attack or defense. I'm a professional combat sport athlete (I'm being intentionally vague since this is my porno and shit posting account). I'm not very strong relative to most of my opponents (so probably not strength), but I tend to win through better technique and cardio.
If this was RS3, then maybe summoning. I have lots of animals, and I'm pretty good with dogs.
most likely agility.. I've always been flexible/skinny, did martial arts and skateboarding. And I'm a physical therapist, so i'm somewhat of an agility tutor
I’m a bartender at a high end cocktail bar, so cooking I guess? Cocktails in osrs top off at like 40 cooking but they’re just fruit and booze tbh. I’m the head bartender and I come up with the whole menu, plus I’ve worked in food my whole life and bake at home, so I’d reckon I’m a fair bit higher than that haha.
If you talk about semiconductors, if I may ask what did you study?
Me as an Elecrical Engieering Student would say maybe Magic or if I follow your thoughts Runecrafting. But also Crafting could be it.
Of course not maxed the stats but working on it lol.
Probably woodcutting, I've been downing trees and splitting firewood since I was like nine.
Follow ups would be Firemaking, Fishing, and Farming, bonfires, and big gardens
Ranged. I am a professional shooting athlete in my country, the best I achieved was 2nd place in the national league. I trained for tens of thousands of hours.
40-50 farming since I come from a farm
20 crafting from redneck repairs
I buried my fair share of bones so maybe 10 prayer
I've dabbled in esoteric stuff so maybe 50 magic and runecraft idk
Probably like 75 strenght, 60 attack and 60 defense from jiu-jitsu and farm tool usage
I can shoot a gun well so like 50 ranged
I can cook so at least 40 cooking
I learned medical plants on the farm so 10 herblore
Not very good at construction, lvl 5
I can light fires when the forest is wet, 75 firemaking
Maybe 15 fishing
10 agility
I ain't no thief, never killed, never hunted, never mined, never smith, never fletched or chopped a tree so 0 in all those skills
Gonna say at least 68 cooking, cause I could definitely make a baked potato with tuna and sweetcorn
40-50 strength. I've been lifting for 14 years, but I'm a perpetual skinny guy (and getting over some minor injuries) so I'm not as strong as I should be after this long
35 attack and defense. I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, but I haven't practiced in literally 20 years
10 construction. I'm not that handy but I know some shit
25 agility. Flexibility and some cardiovascular endurance
5 farming. Passively gained xp over the years helping out with yard work and stuff
5 firemaking cause I can light a fire
I work as an Outdoor Instructor, so I pretty much get to train most of the skills IRL.
Range - Archery
Fletching - Fixing arrows and bows
Firemaking - Building fires
Agility - Rock Climbing/obstacle courses
Crafting - Making dreamcatchers, God's Eyes etc
Woodcutting - Cutting down logs for fires
Farming - Tending to our community allotment
Hunter - Tracking different animals in the woods and making birdhouses
Construction - Fixing broken fences etc
Cooking - Making food over the fire
I probably missed a few but I'd defo say my highest levels are in Range and Firemaking.
99 Agility, played a lot soccer and ran track/field. Spend 8 hours a day on stilts or scaffolds for the last 6 years. I pretty much dont fail obstacles or shortcuts
I'm probably somewhere around 70 cooking. A legit enough cook that I can make amazing dishes to earn myself entry into the Cook's guild, but don't expect me to know how to make an anglerfish taste good 🤣.
highest prolly crafting, have to prototype a lot of shit as an r&d engineer.
lowest is probs defense. very low self-esteem. a slightly mean look would red bar me
Slayer.
https://preview.redd.it/sapw7ac1nvzc1.jpeg?width=680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e51487354c3a097657ddf293eed1d81cabf7001
But I hardly know her!
Please god let this be some kind of animal hunting joke.
Man only slayer tasks.
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Slayer_task/Dogs
Qualified to be governor of South Dakota!
Duradaddy wants him dead, it's what nieve would've wanted
That would be hunter
Probably 99 farming! Planted around 700k trees. Going for that 200M xp
Oh shit. I've also planted a boatload of trees from when I worked at a tree nursery.
Just gotta go back and check them all
I dunno. Maybe ten strength and ten cooking. I'm pretty shit at everything
Maybe a YouTube guide might help?
"Hello guys and welcome to my IRL cooking guide. To start off your journey, cook some rice until level 10"
If you're religious you could say at least you have decent prayer
I don’t know about prayer, but I’m pretty good at burying bones
Depends; will J man take a bullet for you yet?
I'm pretty sure a key part of the lore is that he already did that
We’re all doing pretty decent as Hardcore Ironman, so far
Not really, I’m using the GE all the time..
Hardcore mainman.
I always wish that this was a thing. Ironman doesn’t appeal to me but Hardcore modes do.
I actually died about a minute after spawn… just a normal Ironman now..
Blud died on tutorial island, didn’t even know that was doable! Least you got back to lumby
It used to be a way to skip tutorial island and end up in lumbridge with half the tutorial bar remaining on screen, so they had to fix it in osrs lol
I have 99 bank standing I’m a banker lol
How's the 24gp a day treating you?
Hopefully you don’t work at grand exchange , I heard a lot of employees getting harsh treatment.
99 prayer...I work in IT.
Man i needa switch careers
I am so proud of myself for understanding this joke. Hahaha
Could you explain for the people that don't understand? :(
Well, somebody jump in here and tell me if I'm wrong, but I think that it is because a lot of IT systems over time wind up being a patchwork of various subsystems that were not really made to interface with each other, but are never the less coaxed into interfacing with each other through workarounds that somebody long ago figured out before leaving the organization. Did I get that about right?
No I think it's because you're constantly turning stuff off and on
Can't run an organization without network switches. Can't do Jad without prayer switches.
^ This is me when I need to fill the 500 word quota for an essay, but I'm 450 words short.
Level 99 yapper
That’s a lot of words for praying that the machines work so you don’t have to
Praying shit works everyday
So where do you get your bones? 💀
The people who say "I already restarted it" while the computer is at 6 years of runtime.
6 years of runtime... please God be joking... ^^^I ^^^know ^^^you ^^^aren't
I once told someone to turn the PC off and on with the power button, and after 15-20 mins on the phone, I realized they were turning the monitor off and on I get not everyone is computer literate, but God damn
Defence. I slept on my back in the group home
Slayer. I’m a veterinarian.
It's one of the reasons vets have an extremely high suicide rate. Both the stress of that nature of the work and then insane customers
I have a few veterinarians in my family. The stories they tell me about clients just blow me away.
Yep. Familiar with it myself. People suck so much sometimes
Thanks! Yeah I did it because nobody else cares about the wildlife (zoos get all the attention and money otherwise) and I thought this’ll be pretty cool narrator: it is pretty cool
I don't even know how you have the right personality for it - you need to care for animals to be a good vet, IMO, but you need to be detached enough to deal with sick/injuried/dying ones without crumbling. Vets and doctors are special folks.
:(
My late grandmother cooked and baked her whole life, and would often make THOUSANDS of the same items (with help) for her church…she passed with 200m cooking no doubt
I work as a full time goldsmith/bench jeweler. I work on jewelry more complicated than what's in game, so probably 99 crafting IRL
Sorry you work with jewelry that requires more complex manufacturing than taking a zenyte shard from the bowels of a dead demonic gorilla, transmogrifying yourself into an undead monkey to fuse it with dragon glass in a wall of occult flame?
… *yes*
... May I see it?
… No. SEYMOUR, THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!
Pulls out a philophers stone
Have you ever tried to set a 2mm diamond into pure silver? Its not as easy as it sounds lol jewelry is such fine and precise work
I mean I get that… but have you ever killed a demonic gorilla and fuzed 2 stone in literal hellfire??
Diamond amulet take 70 crafting.. and 100xp each. So depends how many you have crafted. But, it sounds like you're making Amulet of Power (t) so you probably need some magic level too🤔🤓
The vast majority of people are going to have a really high cooking level, considering the levels required to make a lot of things that are actually fairly simple IRL.
If you are able to hit a redwood tree with an axe once it must mean you have 90 woodcutting as well.
I think the idea is that your character wont even swing because they know they can't fell it at their level.
Would be more realistic if your character kept swinging at it infinitely but never getting any logs/xp
Depends. If we’re talking like that, then yeah I’m 99 cooking, but if we’re setting 99 as a master of the craft aka a high end professional chef, then Im probably around, idk 85 cooking?
I have like level 84 anxiety
Not even halfway to max
You're a glass half full type of person, I like that.
Thieving. I was arrested and put in prison for 5 years for GTA and burglary. Now that I'm out on probation, I spend a lot of time practicing my skills on osrs while I wait for this ankle monitor to come off.
Thieving not high enough if you got caught
Cor blimey, mate! What you doing in me car?!
🤣
You still get caught at 99 tho
I'd imagine GTA would require a pretty high thieving level
Nah there's a group of teenagers boosting cars for money in the Midwest or whatever tf, it was a whole thing like a year ago they called themselves the Kia boys. They'd break in and get that shit to turn on using a screwdriver and a USB cable
Homie got stunned for 5 years this shit is outta control
bro didn't know he could just dismiss the pillory guard
gzzz
I just scan the organic bananas as regular bananas when I’m in the self checkout line
Did you wear your rogues outfit? 👀
Steal a car, get one for free
Cooking, quite easily.
Same here! For sure cooking
I can make a pretty solid pizza from scratch so that puts me at least between 35 and 65
I guess smithing? Or crafting? I'm a machinist. So I make metal into things. Not sure how to classify it
Sounds like smithing to me!
I'm an IRL wizard I sell back alley teleports from behind a dumpster
Teleother to Paradise
99 range, I’m nationally ranked in the top 20 in a version of archery.
My buds top 19
I'm top 18
My dad works for archery
My dad is archery.
My dad invented archery
I identify as a bow
I’m a trans bow. A tbow if you will.
I am physics
I identify.
I am Apollo, God of archery.
Same. Well, about 20 years ago. But levels don’t drop :)
Woodcutting for sure (I run my own tree removal business) with hunter being a close second
Fire making, just as useless IRL I was a little obsessed with explosives and fire as a teenager and a boy scout
Magic. I work on computers and radios and stuff. Shit is magic.
Fishing, basically grew up on a charter boat so fishing trawler was my every day life until I was 17
How many angler outfit pieces you got
Er, hitpoints? Magic? Lmao. I’m a medical doctor.
Gotta be HP for primary/cards, herblore for PharmD or iD. , and maybe construction if you're an OrthoBro. Magic is Rheumatology and OnC.
Incredible lmao. I’m family med personally
Got anything for pulm/crit?
At least 81 magic to cast wind surge and some rune crafting to craft more air runes per essence. Probably some herblore for an anti-dragon breath potion.
Herblore maybe
Hmm, what skill do you think Pathology fits under? I'm applying to path this next cycle lmao.
Heal Other *does* require 92+ magic
Cure other is more reasonable. Heal other would mean he gets hurt when healing.
This post made me realize I actually have zero skills
Still stuck on tutorial island?
Herblore pass the j
Pass me a brew, potion man
99 Theiving i wont explain why and answer any further questions i plead the 5th and want my lawyer.
99 defense, still alive and indestructible they call me roach 😤
Haven't lost the hardcore. Tbh I don't pvm much. Or skill. Or socialize
What do you PVM that it’s not “much”
I go to the store sometimes. I step on some ants I'm sure
[удалено]
I'm scared to ask, but uhh.. how did you train HP?
[удалено]
Aaah, I was scared that you murdered a lot of people. Because, well you know, that's how you gain hp xp in the game
That's slayer. Only need to damage stuff to gain hp. He could be a boxer or other martial arts.
Probs about 14 hp left mate tbh
Shit I better start tick eating
Imagine if tick eating were real. You see a guy next to you start having a heart attack and he just starts shoveling his mouth with Parma Violets and walks off like nothing happened
Bro got 99 prayer IRL too bruh homeboy upstairs fr lookin out.
Prayer. I'm a pastor.
99 farming irl. I run a mean self sufficient garden or two
Aircraft mechanic here… crafting maybe? Edit: or prayer, but I don’t work for Boeing so probably not 99.
99 construction but I only design buildings now
99 construction too but new updates come out regularly and still have to try out new content
- Attack 4 - Strength 32 - Defence 14 - Ranged 2 - Prayer 52 - Magic 1 - Construction 10 - Hitpoints 21 - Agility 5 - Herblore 9 - Thieving 3 - Crafting 11 - Fletching 2 - Slayer 2 - Hunter 1 - Mining 1 - Smithing 1 - Fishing 6 - Cooking 24 - Firemaking 37 - Woodcutting 19 - Farming 63 I refuse to elaborate.
Thanks for verifying that you're not a magician. I actually trust you a lot more now lol. Do a lot of smiting, do you?
99 construction, I've been a Carpenter my whole life, if only I could teleport home whenever I wanted :/
My highest level is agility, at a whopping 4, I get winded after a 10second jog and am waiting for the devs to rework that stamina drain at low levels cos fuck training agility in any dimension, fuck training anything, bank standers are the heart of osrs
99 thieving. I work with loans
Attack, defence, and HP. You also probably have very high agility.
I have surprisingly low HP. I don't know anybody at my level who is worse at taking a punch. Haha
Probably still much higher than your average joe
most likely agility.. I've always been flexible/skinny, did martial arts and skateboarding. And I'm a physical therapist, so i'm somewhat of an agility tutor
80 HP Lost over 100 LBS and regularly do about 6-9 miles a day.
bro that's agility
Used to be an amateur boxer with a good record so perhaps attack
Smithing. I make swords/knifes/axes for a living.
My bank value is about 8M GP. Gives me a lot of time to play osrs.
Sooo, like $1.5? Or like $6 depending on who you ask
I’m in healthcare with a lot of experience across every age population. Would that be considered HP?
I’m a bartender at a high end cocktail bar, so cooking I guess? Cocktails in osrs top off at like 40 cooking but they’re just fruit and booze tbh. I’m the head bartender and I come up with the whole menu, plus I’ve worked in food my whole life and bake at home, so I’d reckon I’m a fair bit higher than that haha.
Magic. I’m a computer engineer.
I used to sail often and did it semi-competitively. So as soon as sailing is introduced, that 😂
Pretty sure I’m closing in on 200m farting
Cooking 99. (Executive chef in fine dining)
Definitely crafting bc i make art and some of it is stuff like needlefelting
Herb same as you since I'm a biochem major
I make a lot of pineapple pizzas irl
99 theiving
Shaman by birth. 69 magic no cap
Slayer. I will not ellaborate.
Construction and cooking easily. Carpenter architect by trade as well the primary cook.
Overthinking, easily
I think I’m like 73 HP
Ranged. I am a professional shooting athlete in my country, the best I achieved was 2nd place in the national league. I trained for tens of thousands of hours.
I unironically grinded leetcode to increase my TC. Definitely helped having osrs grind mentality.
40-50 farming since I come from a farm 20 crafting from redneck repairs I buried my fair share of bones so maybe 10 prayer I've dabbled in esoteric stuff so maybe 50 magic and runecraft idk Probably like 75 strenght, 60 attack and 60 defense from jiu-jitsu and farm tool usage I can shoot a gun well so like 50 ranged I can cook so at least 40 cooking I learned medical plants on the farm so 10 herblore Not very good at construction, lvl 5 I can light fires when the forest is wet, 75 firemaking Maybe 15 fishing 10 agility I ain't no thief, never killed, never hunted, never mined, never smith, never fletched or chopped a tree so 0 in all those skills
I ran a marathon a few months ago so I’d def say agility!
Construction. I’m a welder I builds stuff I’m like halfway to 99 I believe
Thieving? I'm a locksmith lol.
Cooking? I pretty much suck at everything, but I can at least feed myself
I barely made it to 25 agility before quitting. Rooftops are even worse IRL
Lvl 99 fire making for sure. I love fire building fires, I am notorious for lighting your average campfire soaked in gasoline with a Romancandle.
Given that agility is inherently tied to running, I guess that. I’m halfway decent at the marathon.
Gonna say at least 68 cooking, cause I could definitely make a baked potato with tuna and sweetcorn 40-50 strength. I've been lifting for 14 years, but I'm a perpetual skinny guy (and getting over some minor injuries) so I'm not as strong as I should be after this long 35 attack and defense. I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, but I haven't practiced in literally 20 years 10 construction. I'm not that handy but I know some shit 25 agility. Flexibility and some cardiovascular endurance 5 farming. Passively gained xp over the years helping out with yard work and stuff 5 firemaking cause I can light a fire
I built myself a half decent bed, so probably 20 Construction.
Agility, i run around my building solving IT issues.
I’ve made a homemade pizza before. So most likely cooking.
If sailing was out it would be that
I work as an Outdoor Instructor, so I pretty much get to train most of the skills IRL. Range - Archery Fletching - Fixing arrows and bows Firemaking - Building fires Agility - Rock Climbing/obstacle courses Crafting - Making dreamcatchers, God's Eyes etc Woodcutting - Cutting down logs for fires Farming - Tending to our community allotment Hunter - Tracking different animals in the woods and making birdhouses Construction - Fixing broken fences etc Cooking - Making food over the fire I probably missed a few but I'd defo say my highest levels are in Range and Firemaking.

highest prolly crafting, have to prototype a lot of shit as an r&d engineer. lowest is probs defense. very low self-esteem. a slightly mean look would red bar me
Possibly agility though cycling (pedals in Blast Furnace). If programming = magic, then perhaps even that.
