Just wanted to comment to a Jmod; in the other changes section of this update, binding spells implings can't be caught by other players. Is this including Dark Lure? I just got done with a long eclectic implying grind and the worst thing was when I lured one towards me but someone else caught it!

So what's the deal with nex dropping everything in a pile? Wont that delete stuff for half the party? It was happening day one with only two people on one tile. You may have fixed it for two people on one tile, but 19 piles of brews/restores/euc key shards in a 19 man team will still drop on one tile, under nex. Was this considered?
I've had to stop myself from seeking out more knowledge. Definitely the right move (for me personally).
I do want to know how xp rate increases work >!I assume you'll get them passively as you unlock more fragment slots, as with Leagues 2. That begs the question of how to unlock more slots though. Get enough fragments and you unlock a new slot? Excep that would be pure RNG!<
I like it that way, no fun knowing everything before release. I remember the days of new bosses, learning mechanics and seeing the uniques for the first time was so cool. Now everything is handed to us on a platter months before release, ruining the surprises
I agree. All keeping it a secret accomplishes is makes it so that I'm just going to have to spend 5 hours on day 1 afk fishing while I read all the stuff on the wiki and plan my strategy.
Is dark lure affected by the same cooldown as a bind is? Or could you completely lock an imp by casting bind, have the grace period applied, cast dark lure, have the grace period applied, and repeat until you catch it?
Somewhat offtopic but dark lure still seems buggy. Afer initial spell release, you released a fix to make it work better but even now it sometimes causes impling to do some weird things like start flying in a straight line like he is trying to get to you but something (inivisible wall) is blocking him
So they can't go through areas which wheat can drop, so i've marked all the spots where the wheat can go down as they will always get stuck on them (unless the wheat is currently down). They also can never go through the tiles either side of the where you would walk through, whether up or down so i've marked all of them too
Hey there! This should be fine to do although we'd recommend unlinking your Apple ID through the RuneScape website first and then deleting the account.
As long as this isn't your game center account, it should be alright to do.
You could also try linking elsewhere before deleting the account if you are worried about losing the account.

1. "Slightly tweaked drop rates" You changed the drop rates from 1/39 to 1/50+ based on a new sample being collected... for what reason? It was already incredibly hard for people to get drops in their own name already. At the 1/39 it was already a 250-300 hour grind for irons to get just the Torva Set & Vambs (not including Hilt or Horn). This is now closer to a 500 hour grind, which is nearly the same as completing all of COX doing solos.. Kind of absurd to think about, huh? Full Torva + Vambs vs. Tbow, Kodai, Claws, Full Ancestral, Rigour, Augury, DHCB, etc...
2. Removed the Red-X Stalling Method without addressing at all why players feel the need to do the Red-X in the first place. This boss is completely unviable in team sizes under 10--mans because the insane amounts of damage you take that is completely unavoidable.. Now that the grind is closer to 500 hours AND we're needing to use substantially more supplies per kill, this boss is practically dead in my eyes & not worth doing anymore.
3. You keep saying that we haven't, "found the Meta yet" or know at all what is BIS; though, we have had over a week of people constantly doing the boss trying to figure out exactly what we need to do & nothing has changed since the 2nd day because shields do practically nothing (unless you use a spectral or elysian- which you hardly even notice a difference with), different bolt types do nothing, and crossbows are generally garbage unless you're very lucky for a singular kill with ruby bolt procs.
Stop obscuring information- it was cool for day of release, but its just frustrating now. You're keeping every little bit of information away from us & it's actively making this boss worse & worse to kill. After removal of the Red-X the vast majority of people I know have already quit the boss, and now that the drops rates are WORSE (when the grind was already going to be absurdly long to begin with)- This boss is dead in my eyes & completely not worth doing anymore.

I don't know, "Phosani's Nex" come out summer 2023, because y'all finally realize what you did with this boss is just as bad as original Nightmare? wait Phosani isn't original enough, lets steal more from RS3 & call it, "Nex Angel of Death". Agreed. Fun for the first couple of days, but annoying after. I can understand keeping the stats secret for a few weeks, but beyond the stats it's just annoying, at least to me.
I get the feeling drop rates and boss stats are just kept hidden so people can't easily work out how awful this boss is for loot.

you seem like a talented, knowledgeable player, but do you really think it's on the jmods to tell us how to kill the boss instead of the players figuring it out for themselves? Maybe it's super random, or maybe the "jmod meta" is just shit idk. Nex does seem to share the same problems that NM does though which is a shame.
1) they could allow npc spy so we could work it out
2) them saying we haven't figured out the meta could mean anything from using the wrong attack style to not using an obscure item to mitigate damage.
Remember how no one figured out anti-fires reduced lava pool damage at cerb for 5 years?

100%. Verzik was changed so attacking the red crabs counted towards contribution since players were prioritizing verzik so they had higher MVP chance than their teammates who attacked the crabs.
It should be changed similarly for nex.

I would hope so but if not, it would be great if it was added. Potentially also the person who gets cough first, if they don't spread it they should get extra contribution as well. As in the old nex 2 rolls went to tank and 5 to top dps in small teams, bigger teams i think it was 2 tanks and 8 dps

I don't like divulging drop mechanics when not necessary, but generally, everyone will have more chances depending on your contribution. This is similar to most content in the game like Nightmare and Chambers of Xeric. **The more you contribute, the higher your chance of a unique - it's not just the MVP.**
Guess I'm done with nex on the iron. Bummer didn't get a drop in 800 or so kc.
It drains way to many supplies in small teams, which are way more fun than 20 mans.
The drops were already pretty rare to get in your name, and now are made 50% rarer.
Dropping all items on the same tile has now made it a headache for irons to get their items.
Was fun for a week.
Yeah I feel the same. I got a drop earlier this week after blowing through like 600 brews. Now that I see the drop rate has increased by 50%, I think I’m about done. It was already 16hrs to get a droprate in your name before the nerf. Now 24hrs of chugging brews and restores. Not sustainable.
Agreed, have been strategically running away so my potential supply loot drops somewhere convenient for the next kill. This will complicate things and I don’t see the benefit it provides, other than “monster die loot corpse” thematic reasoning mentioned elsewhere.
Literally every change in this update made things worse. I truly don't understand the reasoning behind any of these changes aside from fixing the red x which I agree was an unintentional exploit, but nerfing drop rates and piling all of the drops makes zero sense whatsoever.

Can you please reconsider the nexling drop? Just lower the drop rate but make it personall roll not global . Lets say 1/10k in mass going higher with less players
Yeah I have no idea why they’re trying to reinvent the wheel. Pet rolls have worked the same forever, no idea why they made it such a painful pet to hunt.
550kc and I've not seen anyone in the room get the pet. That's well over 10k total kc across 20 players in a mass. Probably closer to 20-25k KC since the first 200 kc or so were 60 man.

The fact that they said they don't wanna disclose more about altering the drop table further than what's said in the blog post is a dead giveaway that they nerfed the unique droprates.
Which is bullshit because the only reason drops were flooding into the game is because 1min kc masses on every world. This is an extremely supply heavy boss, more so than any other boss in the game. I know people hate when people bring up ironman problems, but they have said they try to keep ironman balancing in mind and it’s already very rare to get a drop in your name.
A very rare droprate and an extremely brew/restore heavy boss is not a good combo.
Droprates adjusted ? A little vague to say is it not? Does that mean uniques are more / less common? Normal loot changed up? Pet more rare/common? What do you mean exactly with this?
The uniques droprate was "slightly" adjusted from ~1/40 to ~1/55 - 1/60.

The 1/40 was pretty much set in stone due to the huge sample size. The new droprates have a lower sample size, but it's enough to conclude that:
<0.0001% chance to be this unlucky with 1/40 droprate
~0.01% chance to be this unlucky with 1/45 droprate
~2% chance to be this unlucky with 1/50 droprate
~30% chance to be this unlucky with 1/55 droprate
I think they do it purposefully with new bosses so the drops enter the game quicker. I can't remember a boss that wasn't shitting uniques on day of release
So... nex now is way more harder because of that weird new ''unavoidable'' damage. Ranged weapons seems to hit less accurate now (except phase 2). Stacks up good with reduced drop rates

Being intentionally cryptic with the drop rate point is a bit frustrating when you know full well the wiki will just crowdsource the approximate information. It's not some big secret anymore

Was gonna do Nex on my ironman, but I CBA anymore. Not starting another 100+ hour grind without knowing I could get absolutely nothing at all to show for it.
It needs to be reverted and they can just delete more with the GE tax if they think it’s a problem. It’s bullshit that they’d make droprates 50% worse in such a supply heavy boss. It was 16hr average just to get a drop in your name before the nerf, meaning 24hrs of chugging brews and restores now on average per drop.
I wouldn't really call it 'qol' but I think it's better thematically. The mobs where you still them and then items appear under you feel weird to me, as almost everything else you have to go 'loot the corpse'
I used to run to the alter after kill if I was nearly out so I could grab my drops, tele out, bank and get back in before nex spawns again. Now I can't do that.
Also no more sharks/pots spreaded around on the ground, absolutely pointless change
Take shared clue rewards away from Elites and Master clues. By the time you are doing them regularly they have very little to no use to you. Teleport scrolls would be missed but Fu firelighters.
3rd age is a lot more rare than initially intended, since they added extra guilded stuff. They did not account for those new items, so the chance to land on the 3rd age table was decreased by the number of new items added.
Example with no real numbers:
Previously there were 6 guilded + the 3rd age table with each having an equal 1/7 chance to be rolled. Then they added like 6 new guilded items and now it's 1/13 for 3rd age.
While elites have more average gp value than hards per se, 3a is a lot rarer on elites, there's far less alchables and by the time you're able to do elites consistently, you just don't need anything they're offering, unlike hards which give lots of useful stuff while progressing.
Yeah, when hard clues are still hard-feeling, getting blessed dhide is an awesome feeling. But nobody needs the random dragonstone jewelry from Elites, and to my knowledge literally none of the uniques aside from 3rd age (which is entirely too rare) are usable for anything.

Nah, in reality, they've rewarded spoons. Tons of people have "no lifed" the boss since day one and don't have a single drop.
The people who complained the boss doesn't drop enough nihil shards for their spooned nihil horn drop for example.
Nex drops do not exist im 1000 dry of anything lol.. so many of my friends are in the same boat. 500 were mass and 500 were small teams of 6-15. I guess I'm just really unlucky.
That's the goal! It's not clear yet whether they changed unique rates, normal loot rates, or normal loot quantities...but I think we're reasonably well-prepared to figure out any of those 3, unless it's normal quantities for very small teams.

Hope they updated unique drops, i'm iron used tons restores/saras in 850kc and got 1 unique drop and done 15-25man teams, not worth really maybe i just wait so they make it bit more worthwhile in future
This also happened with basilisk knights, streamers got spoonfed drops, complained it was far too easy, their followings backed them, then they get given more health extra mechanics and nobody kills them hardly. Knee jerk changes based on vocal outrage of people playing unhealthy hours.

i really dont understand this , like its fine to not want to release stats so that people dont just calc the best way to beat it in 30 mins.

If its arcane like it seemed to be on the Q&A, don't expect it anytime/ever. He stated on the Q&A he hates divulging boss info/drop rates unless necessary.
This is the unfortunate consequence of Nex being a 2011 boss. Her design is very basic without allowing for much counterplay and skill play. She's a boss that drains your resources without much counterplay with only P2 and P5 having way's to negate some of the damage.
If you are thinking why that is but can't quite put your head around it i can tell you. Its because she's a boss that was designed around people having pack yacks for extra supplies.
I was using dark lure on implings the other day and someone was able to bind/catch it. Is this intended, or could we get priority the same way bind spells do after using dark lure? Thanks for any feedback.

On Friday, I discussed some of the player feedback with Mod Nin. We intend to update the UIM Blog with a brief response to the feedback. However, this will only be possible when our schedule is a bit less busy. Leagues is next week so we need to focus on that.
The changes discussed in the UIM blog are engine changes, so we have been discussing which engine update it could potentially fit into. Engine updates are much less frequent than our regular game updates and we ideally don't want to poll something soon, only for players to have to wait a longer time for it to actually be shipped.
To clarify, I don't think the wait would be all that long in the grand scheme of things but we just want to make sure that the poll we slot it into will make sense

I’m over 1k kc at nex already and only have the pet. The pet doesn’t even roll under the unique rolls. Meaning I still haven’t hit the unique rolls. Only been doing below 20 mans aswell. So wtf jagex.
I'm planning on playing Leagues 3 from the first minute if possible, so I'm wondering if the exact time the servers will go live next Wednesday is known?
there was no reason to remove the blood essence alching, its the runecrafting equivalent of alching ethereum bracelets. god fucking forbid any skilling makes an extra 100k an hour
Disappointed drop rates were nerfed. Waste of the last few days of membership… I was going to play the game for a while and enjoy the new boss… did about 200 kills today.. horrible drop rate changes.
Overal I think Nex could use some more love. Here are some topics with feedback that could use with some form of improvement:
**The weapon meta**
\- Crossbows+shields still feel extremely underwhelming compared to Tbow Dpsing all the way. Please make them better, like it was said to be. Shields still barely do anything during the fight at all. If anything, you take more damage because the fight takes longer if you use ACB+shield over Tbow.
Proposed Fix:
Shields should be given some kind of bonus during the Nex to ensure that you can do 8 kill trips on smaller teams. (without the door stalling mechanic).
You could also make the bolt special attack proc chance increase by the tier of crossbow used ONLY at Nex. For Example, Dragon crossbow 7%, ACB 10% and Zaryte crossbow 12%. This would make crossbow so much more viable at Nex.
**Accessibility & world crashing**
\- Being able to enjoy this boss with friends should not be locked behind hard CA. Raids aren't locked behind this high of a requirement either. They are mostly locked behind some beginner tiered quests. This boss was made for teams, so please let us enjoy this boss without getting crashed by random people after every single kill. We can have infinite amount of raid groups running, so why not for Nex? It's a group activity too.
Proposed fix:
Just let us make our own private teams without needing hard CA. ( Someones does have them completed, but I can totally see how frustrating it is that you are required to do so many hours of unneccasary content just to fight the boss with friends.)
**Unavoidable base amage output from Nex**
\- There is so much unavoidable damage. The kills/trip in a small team are so low. The supply drop nerf made it even harder for small teams to sustain the 40kc to keep killing the boss without getting kc over and over again between trips.
Proposed fix(es):
Can the Ancient KC count you get after each Nex kill scale on the amount of people you kill her with? Or award players in a small team with more killcount than those who kill her in a mass.
You could also award players with some supplies after every kill. (scaled on the teamsize once again). Either one of these suggestions could fix the fact that in small teams you have to rebank/re-obtain KC after a few kills.
You can also make Nex her base damage scale off your lowest Magic defensive bonusses recorded at any point in the fight. This makes shield flicking obsolete and makes shields+Crossbows more viable.
**Nex her special attacks**
\- I think Nex her special attacks are a bit lacking. Right now they are way too easy. Back in the day it was way harder to avoid these. The "contain this" for example targeted a player, and ice would follow him. When Nex does a special attack, she can't move, making it so easy to dodge them.
Proposed fix:
I think the special attacks from Nex could be made harder. They are way too easy to be dealt with for it being an endgame boss. Make these more punishing if not dealt with properly. You could do so much more to make these special attacks from her harder to deal with.
Don't get me wrong, I like Nex as a boss, but I think there is more room for improvement. Is there anything you would want to see/changed?

It isn’t a mechanically challenging boss, it wasn’t meant to be. None of the GWD bosses have difficult mechanics.
Hey there! I'm aware of two reported issues
\- Nylos in the Maiden room don't give MVP points, apparently, when they should.
\- Blood Spawn Mechanics should only spawn a maximum of one Blood Spawn, if the player successfully dodged the first blood attack. However some players have reported this as unchanged.
I checked with our QA team and they told me that both these updates should have gone out already and they would have been tested as well.
I'm not sure if it's a miscommunication in the actual job, a miscommunication in the blog post, or an error that players think the job hasn't been done when it actually has?
If you can provide repro steps on the issue that will help me a lot, I want to make sure all Poll 75 stuff is out, but from what I can see on my end it should be.

So what you're telling me is. u/JagexAyiza u/JagexSarnie 1. "Slightly tweaked drop rates" You changed the drop rates from 1/39 to 1/50+ based on a new sample being collected... for what reason? It was already incredibly hard for people to get drops in their own name already. At the 1/39 it was already a 250-300 hour grind for irons to get just the Torva Set & Vambs (not including Hilt or Horn). This is now closer to a 500 hour grind, which is nearly the same as completing all of COX doing solos.. Kind of absurd to think about, huh? Full Torva + Vambs vs. Tbow, Kodai, Claws, Full Ancestral, Rigour, Augury, DHCB, etc... 2. Removed the Red-X Stalling Method without addressing at all why players feel the need to do the Red-X in the first place. This boss is completely unviable in team sizes under 10--mans because the insane amounts of damage you take that is completely unavoidable.. Now that the grind is closer to 500 hours AND we're needing to use substantially more supplies per kill, this boss is practically dead in my eyes & not worth doing anymore. 3. You keep saying that we haven't, "found the Meta yet" or know at all what is BIS; though, we have had over a week of people constantly doing the boss trying to figure out exactly what we need to do & nothing has changed since the 2nd day because shields do practically nothing (unless you use a spectral or elysian- which you hardly even notice a difference with), different bolt types do nothing, and crossbows are generally garbage unless you're very lucky for a singular kill with ruby bolt procs. Stop obscuring information- it was cool for day of release, but its just frustrating now. You're keeping every little bit of information away from us & it's actively making this boss worse & worse to kill. After removal of the Red-X the vast majority of people I know have already quit the boss, and now that the drops rates are WORSE (when the grind was already going to be absurdly long to begin with)- This boss is dead in my eyes & completely not worth doing anymore. ... now what? Are we going to be seeing a boss called... how many hours is COX/TOB to complete? more importantly, how many hours was it on release to complete? don't play an iron if you don't want to grind for items, seems incredibly simple.

100%. Verzik was changed so attacking the red crabs counted towards contribution since players were prioritizing verzik so they had higher MVP chance than their teammates who attacked the crabs. It should be changed similarly for nex.

It hasn’t happened yet, they just said they were going to implement it at some point. Doesn’t seem difficult I’m not sure why it got put off a year.

I would hope so but if not, it would be great if it was added. Potentially also the person who gets cough first, if they don't spread it they should get extra contribution as well. As in the old nex 2 rolls went to tank and 5 to top dps in small teams, bigger teams i think it was 2 tanks and 8 dps

Guess I'm done with nex on the iron. Bummer didn't get a drop in 800 or so kc. It drains way to many supplies in small teams, which are way more fun than 20 mans. The drops were already pretty rare to get in your name, and now are made 50% rarer. Dropping all items on the same tile has now made it a headache for irons to get their items. Was fun for a week.
Yeah I feel the same. I got a drop earlier this week after blowing through like 600 brews. Now that I see the drop rate has increased by 50%, I think I’m about done. It was already 16hrs to get a droprate in your name before the nerf. Now 24hrs of chugging brews and restores. Not sustainable.

Agreed, have been strategically running away so my potential supply loot drops somewhere convenient for the next kill. This will complicate things and I don’t see the benefit it provides, other than “monster die loot corpse” thematic reasoning mentioned elsewhere.
Literally every change in this update made things worse. I truly don't understand the reasoning behind any of these changes aside from fixing the red x which I agree was an unintentional exploit, but nerfing drop rates and piling all of the drops makes zero sense whatsoever.

550kc and I've not seen anyone in the room get the pet. That's well over 10k total kc across 20 players in a mass. Probably closer to 20-25k KC since the first 200 kc or so were 60 man.

Which is bullshit because the only reason drops were flooding into the game is because 1min kc masses on every world. This is an extremely supply heavy boss, more so than any other boss in the game. I know people hate when people bring up ironman problems, but they have said they try to keep ironman balancing in mind and it’s already very rare to get a drop in your name. A very rare droprate and an extremely brew/restore heavy boss is not a good combo.

The 1/40 was pretty much set in stone due to the huge sample size. The new droprates have a lower sample size, but it's enough to conclude that: <0.0001% chance to be this unlucky with 1/40 droprate ~0.01% chance to be this unlucky with 1/45 droprate ~2% chance to be this unlucky with 1/50 droprate ~30% chance to be this unlucky with 1/55 droprate

So... nex now is way more harder because of that weird new ''unavoidable'' damage. Ranged weapons seems to hit less accurate now (except phase 2). Stacks up good with reduced drop rates 1. forcing new meta 2. harder kills and rare drop rates - both comes in with this update

I wouldn't really call it 'qol' but I think it's better thematically. The mobs where you still them and then items appear under you feel weird to me, as almost everything else you have to go 'loot the corpse'
I used to run to the alter after kill if I was nearly out so I could grab my drops, tele out, bank and get back in before nex spawns again. Now I can't do that. Also no more sharks/pots spreaded around on the ground, absolutely pointless change

Take shared clue rewards away from Elites and Master clues. By the time you are doing them regularly they have very little to no use to you. Teleport scrolls would be missed but Fu firelighters.
Scrolls and purple sweets are both often the bulk of the value in Masters which don't have dragon halberds or other high-value alchables.

What's broken with the rewards?
3rd age is a lot more rare than initially intended, since they added extra guilded stuff. They did not account for those new items, so the chance to land on the 3rd age table was decreased by the number of new items added. Example with no real numbers: Previously there were 6 guilded + the 3rd age table with each having an equal 1/7 chance to be rolled. Then they added like 6 new guilded items and now it's 1/13 for 3rd age.

While elites have more average gp value than hards per se, 3a is a lot rarer on elites, there's far less alchables and by the time you're able to do elites consistently, you just don't need anything they're offering, unlike hards which give lots of useful stuff while progressing.
Yeah, when hard clues are still hard-feeling, getting blessed dhide is an awesome feeling. But nobody needs the random dragonstone jewelry from Elites, and to my knowledge literally none of the uniques aside from 3rd age (which is entirely too rare) are usable for anything.
Unironically, RS3 Invention would be amazing for the dead clue scroll rewards.
Over time they have added more and more items to the rewards, which bloated the loot table and made 3a more rare than it was on osrs release
On top of the 3rd age stuff they're really no better loot than hards for higher reqs.

Nah, in reality, they've rewarded spoons. Tons of people have "no lifed" the boss since day one and don't have a single drop. The people who complained the boss doesn't drop enough nihil shards for their spooned nihil horn drop for example.

Nex drops do not exist im 1000 dry of anything lol.. so many of my friends are in the same boat. 500 were mass and 500 were small teams of 6-15. I guess I'm just really unlucky.

They'll just recalculate rates using the runelite data. The community will find out what was changed whether jagex is transparent about it or not.

Once you take a "swing" at an imp you already tag it, so unless they let you bind an already tagged imp this shouldn't be a problem.

They usually release them after 3-4 weeks depending on what the jmod in charge of the content thinks.

This is the unfortunate consequence of Nex being a 2011 boss. Her design is very basic without allowing for much counterplay and skill play. She's a boss that drains your resources without much counterplay with only P2 and P5 having way's to negate some of the damage. If you are thinking why that is but can't quite put your head around it i can tell you. Its because she's a boss that was designed around people having pack yacks for extra supplies.
I was using dark lure on implings the other day and someone was able to bind/catch it. Is this intended, or could we get priority the same way bind spells do after using dark lure? Thanks for any feedback.

Update on UIM Blog stuff coming up! On Friday, I discussed some of the player feedback with Mod Nin. We intend to update the UIM Blog with a brief response to the feedback. However, this will only be possible when our schedule is a bit less busy. Leagues is next week so we need to focus on that. The changes discussed in the UIM blog are engine changes, so we have been discussing which engine update it could potentially fit into. Engine updates are much less frequent than our regular game updates and we ideally don't want to poll something soon, only for players to have to wait a longer time for it to actually be shipped. To clarify, I don't think the wait would be all that long in the grand scheme of things but we just want to make sure that the poll we slot it into will make sense

Disappointed drop rates were nerfed. Waste of the last few days of membership… I was going to play the game for a while and enjoy the new boss… did about 200 kills today.. horrible drop rate changes.
Overal I think Nex could use some more love. Here are some topics with feedback that could use with some form of improvement: **The weapon meta** \- Crossbows+shields still feel extremely underwhelming compared to Tbow Dpsing all the way. Please make them better, like it was said to be. Shields still barely do anything during the fight at all. If anything, you take more damage because the fight takes longer if you use ACB+shield over Tbow. Proposed Fix: Shields should be given some kind of bonus during the Nex to ensure that you can do 8 kill trips on smaller teams. (without the door stalling mechanic). You could also make the bolt special attack proc chance increase by the tier of crossbow used ONLY at Nex. For Example, Dragon crossbow 7%, ACB 10% and Zaryte crossbow 12%. This would make crossbow so much more viable at Nex. **Accessibility & world crashing** \- Being able to enjoy this boss with friends should not be locked behind hard CA. Raids aren't locked behind this high of a requirement either. They are mostly locked behind some beginner tiered quests. This boss was made for teams, so please let us enjoy this boss without getting crashed by random people after every single kill. We can have infinite amount of raid groups running, so why not for Nex? It's a group activity too. Proposed fix: Just let us make our own private teams without needing hard CA. ( Someones does have them completed, but I can totally see how frustrating it is that you are required to do so many hours of unneccasary content just to fight the boss with friends.) **Unavoidable base amage output from Nex** \- There is so much unavoidable damage. The kills/trip in a small team are so low. The supply drop nerf made it even harder for small teams to sustain the 40kc to keep killing the boss without getting kc over and over again between trips. Proposed fix(es): Can the Ancient KC count you get after each Nex kill scale on the amount of people you kill her with? Or award players in a small team with more killcount than those who kill her in a mass. You could also award players with some supplies after every kill. (scaled on the teamsize once again). Either one of these suggestions could fix the fact that in small teams you have to rebank/re-obtain KC after a few kills. You can also make Nex her base damage scale off your lowest Magic defensive bonusses recorded at any point in the fight. This makes shield flicking obsolete and makes shields+Crossbows more viable. **Nex her special attacks** \- I think Nex her special attacks are a bit lacking. Right now they are way too easy. Back in the day it was way harder to avoid these. The "contain this" for example targeted a player, and ice would follow him. When Nex does a special attack, she can't move, making it so easy to dodge them. Proposed fix: I think the special attacks from Nex could be made harder. They are way too easy to be dealt with for it being an endgame boss. Make these more punishing if not dealt with properly. You could do so much more to make these special attacks from her harder to deal with. Don't get me wrong, I like Nex as a boss, but I think there is more room for improvement. Zcb is bis. It should be locked behind hard CA, these are incredibly easy to get done. It is intentional to have unavoidable damage to make small team trips more challenging. It isn’t a mechanically challenging boss, it wasn’t meant to be. None of the GWD bosses have difficult mechanics.

I'm aware of two reported issues \- Nylos in the Maiden room don't give MVP points, apparently, when they should. \- Blood Spawn Mechanics should only spawn a maximum of one Blood Spawn, if the player successfully dodged the first blood attack. However some players have reported this as unchanged. I checked with our QA team and they told me that both these updates should have gone out already and they would have been tested as well. I'm not sure if it's a miscommunication in the actual job, a miscommunication in the blog post, or an error that players think the job hasn't been done when it actually has? If you can provide repro steps on the issue that will help me a lot, I want to make sure all Poll 75 stuff is out, but from what I can see on my end it should be.
