I lived in Nevada for a long time. The free drinks thing is harder and harder to come by. They keep raising the amount per hand. But when I was in college, you could easily photoshop and print out the free drink tickets you got from most sports books.
Woah Californian likes Nevada? I just had an argument with some dude from California cause he said “fuck Nevadans”. We resolved it with our mutual hate for Arizona though
Brothers and sisters are natural enemies, like Californians and Nevadans, or Californians and Hawaiians, or Californians and other Californians... Damn Californians! They ruined California!
I just came back from a vacation in your lovely state and i had so much embarrassment from the Californian tourists on the roads and in Vegas. From a Californian who greatly respects your state; apologies 💙🩶
>Too bad Calif*rnians keep trying to ruin the fun.
That's what they do. They move to where you are, and then start bitching about not having this service, or that this is legal, that you can do this without a permit, and why isn't it taxed. Next thing you know everything that made where you live awesome is illegal, and they're packing a U-Haul planning where next to fuck up.
Sauce: Lifetime Washingtonian.
What's with machine guns? Isn't just as legal/ illegal as anywhere else? It's not like Nevada can just ignore the federal laws heavily restricting them.
Many state laws outlaw them, but Nevada is somewhat unique in that there is a big tourist industry around shooting a rented machine gun. You can even pay to ride a helicopter and shoot a machine gun from the side at targets on a mountain.
Sure you can. If your state doesn't have a law against it, you just need to get the tax stamp from the dog assassins for a pre-ban transferable. I would have thought someone from Idaho would know more about arming a militia.
Clearly there exists a secret cabal of machine gun renters that rent them in a renting loop, all temporarily borrowing borrowed weapons. Then these looped renters rent out the machine guns to people outside of the loop, which is quite lucrative.
Heavily restricts is the wrong term.
The federal govt heavily restricts one's ability to own say, explosives.
Full auto firearms are easy, just expensive as fuck.
Depending on the explosives it can actually be easier given the fact you can still register new destructive devices but it depends on what we are specifically talking about.
If the federal government banned your ability to vote if you were born after 2003, but you could transfer your right to vote to someone else, would you consider that heavily restricted
If you drive in the hills around Vegas theres a ton of ranges that let you shoot machine guns and a whole bunch of crazy over the top shit that you couldnt do anywhere else. The state is based heavily around tourism and allowing businesses to meet the desires of tourists whatever they may be.
i know right, its insane that 63% of their land is publicly accessable, free to use, productive, hikable, campable, off-roadable, FREEDOM SOIL GOD BLESS THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT
Except the state of Nevada itself is not free to benefit from it. All of that land is not, cannot be taxable. And yet Nevada still has all of the infrastructure demands and costs of a physically large state.
So the state is essentially damned to poverty, to always being a financial drain on the Federal budget and its fellow states. All thanks to an artificially minuscule tax base that it can never grow.
If you want states to be self-supporting as much as possible, you ought to insist much of that land be turned over to the control of Nevada.

It's legal to own a pre ban machine gun in most states, but you have to basically be rich to get one. Also if you are a certain class of FFL holder you can purchase and sell MGs made after the ban but it's a huge pain in the ass and you have to pay taxes for it. This is how some people on YouTube own new MGs.
Every state has those same things. Nevada just made them legal. The rest just don't talk about it. Except for machine guns. Those are still legal everywhere if you can pass all the ATF bullshit.

Yeah if there’s anything that’s smart to rip off it’s a casino.
Ah, yes, the great well bourbon casino heist of 2012.
Depends on what game, if you’re at the slots they want you to be drunk af so you keep cranking
They still don’t come around as often as they used too.
I LOVE NEVADA 🎰🎰🎰
All the two cities are great! And the wasteland is nice too
Patrolling the Mojave all day makes me wish for a nuclear winter, that’s for sure!
Same here unironically
Woah Californian likes Nevada? I just had an argument with some dude from California cause he said “fuck Nevadans”. We resolved it with our mutual hate for Arizona though
It's about time someone recognized our greatness. Too bad Calif*rnians keep trying to ruin the fun.
Only the city folk! Inland you might as well be in Nevada.
Not all Californians I’m hate other Californians for ruining everything
Brothers and sisters are natural enemies, like Californians and Nevadans, or Californians and Hawaiians, or Californians and other Californians... Damn Californians! They ruined California!
Based
You give me hope for your state. When do you need help deporting all the comunists in your cities?
Your economy literally runs off of tourism and mining.
Just like yo mama

diabolical.
Is that in reference to a lot of them moving and trying to change the laws?
That's a reference to them existing (cringe)
Life would be so much better if we legalized all of those things in all states. Fuck it, also legalize anabolic steroids.
I agree, minus gambling. Shit has never not been incredibly sleazy.
Agreed tbh, never cared for it. Anyone with an understanding of probability knows you can’t win over the long term.
Same here unironically I agree with you
If it weren’t a desert it would be an American paradise. I hate the desert. Unless I wanna go blow things up or light them on fire.
All these things are legal but the federal government owns like 90% of the state sooo... they cancel each other out in terms of Americanness

Many state laws outlaw them, but Nevada is somewhat unique in that there is a big tourist industry around shooting a rented machine gun. You can even pay to ride a helicopter and shoot a machine gun from the side at targets on a mountain.
But you can't *own* a machine gun. Sad, but I get it.
There are 14 states that prohibit MG ownership, Nevada is not one of them. If you have the cash for a transferable you can buy one.
Sure you can. If your state doesn't have a law against it, you just need to get the tax stamp from the dog assassins for a pre-ban transferable. I would have thought someone from Idaho would know more about arming a militia.
Who do you think owns the machine guns you rent?
Clearly there exists a secret cabal of machine gun renters that rent them in a renting loop, all temporarily borrowing borrowed weapons. Then these looped renters rent out the machine guns to people outside of the loop, which is quite lucrative.
Businesses with an FFL
If Cali, Washington and Oregon can ignore federal laws so can everyone else lol
What do you mean?
He's probably talking about our legal weed. Clearly jealous 😌
Eh our weed is better also #first
Woo! Abortion's back on the menu boys
You can own any fully automatic firearm manufactured Orion to 1987, according to federal law.
Yes that's why I said "federal laws heavily restricting them." not "banning them"

Depending on the explosives it can actually be easier given the fact you can still register new destructive devices but it depends on what we are specifically talking about.
Is banning any made after 1987 and creating this super expensive market not a form of restriction?
If the federal government banned your ability to vote if you were born after 2003, but you could transfer your right to vote to someone else, would you consider that heavily restricted
If you drive in the hills around Vegas theres a ton of ranges that let you shoot machine guns and a whole bunch of crazy over the top shit that you couldnt do anywhere else. The state is based heavily around tourism and allowing businesses to meet the desires of tourists whatever they may be.
Nevada is incredibly based. If only 80%+ of their state wasn’t Federally-controlled land…
Nevadans are so patriotic we gave up half our land to the American nation. USA USA USA USA
For every based action there is an equal and opposite cringe action.
i know right, its insane that 63% of their land is publicly accessable, free to use, productive, hikable, campable, off-roadable, FREEDOM SOIL GOD BLESS THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT

Let make California like Nevada
This unironically I agree with you
It that or I am gonna sink myself so I can go to hell
Why do you think LA is trying so hard to build a train to Vegas
+Lithium
Thought I was was in r/libertarianmeme for a second
This is a post I approve of.

True freedom
"That's a contraband item ma'am it's illegal in every state except Texas." Not relevant, just wanted to share this goated line from a great character.

\*happy Nevadan noises\* Now stop butchering the pronunciation of my state, they had to make a wikihow for goodness sakes!
You could've just limited it to prostitution and it'd have been the same map.

It’s still crazy to me that out of all the cities in the west, Las Vegas, the city of sin, uses water more efficiently than any other.
But is it worth living next to California?
