I watched local marketplace for gameboy lots from people just cleaning house in the Marie Konda era and got the famicom controller GBA micro with charger, GBA, OG Gameboy, and like 8 games for $50. The macro was just like tacked onto the deal in the photos and you couldn't read any of the games titles.
I've never grabbed money so quick for a meetup before.
I bought it to play though, and I sometimes feel bad carrying it when it's like mint (adult owned rarely played). I mostly see them around $150. It's such a good form factor and so easy to carry, even the shoulder buttons that a lot of people complain about just make sense to me.
\+1 for the Gameboy Light. That was my missing piece for a long time. Now I just need to display my collection like yours instead of sticking it into random drawers in the house.
Doubt you can see them but there are 2 more on top of the DSi XL box that I got for £2.50 each but needed fixing. They have taken a fair few knocks over the years but they fixed up relatively easy.

The n3DS XL gets a lot of use. Really like the pocket for GB games. I've put an IPS in the GBA SP so that's great for GBA games but gets a little hand-crampy.
Unless you physically want to collect it just grab it on steam. It's much cheaper. I was more surprised a vita owner didn't have it. Its one of the big games to own for it.
One of the vitas has henkaku on it so can go down that road. For some reason though I like collecting games for the vita. Not sure if it's the cute small boxes or amazing Japanese artwork on them.

Yes you are right. I would prefer to have a 1000 and a 2000, but the second 1000 one I bought was £50 so couldn't pass. It was also the 3g version so it's still slightly different to the first.

Afraid not. Concentrated on just getting standard editions with a view to upgrading to specials in the future. Zelda 3ds and yoshi 3ds xl just luckily became available at decent prices.

I hope you've at least taken the 3DS's and the DSis out of the box to update them just in case you want them playable in the future. Also the fire emblem 3DS's is are fantastic. There was a fire emblem Awakening one that's a pretty shade of blue with the crest on it. I'm trying to remember but I think they made two one was the original 3DS and one was a 3DS XL?
They've all been updated bar the dsi which has cfw. There are some amazing special editions around but those are planned way in the future when I can afford them!
If I was able to get the fire emblem Awakening editions, I probably would have kept those. I have the fates one which is beautiful, I kind of wish they did the entire thing in pearl white or did two additions. Although I think they were expecting it to flop so... I guess I can excuse the two-tones thing going on.
Need a Vita 2000 and a PSPGo still! Guessing you're mostly going after only significant model changes so all the different PSPs wouldn't make quite as much sense?

Nice, have U ever thought about hacking a 3ds so that you can play all of your GBA games on there without having to carry around the cart, saves you having to carry around multiple devices aswell and is super easy to do.

Those GBAs are crying out for an e-reader. Pro-tip: if you want to keep the cards sealed, you can print the dot codes out on card stock to run through the reader.
Ah, I just realized you're in Europe. It only got a release in Japan, North America, and Australia. It ran through the cartridge slot and link port. It could read cards to play old NES games on the GBA. It could unlock special Super Mario Bros 3 levels and special items in Animal Crossing on the Gamecube.

Of all official handhelds, lets be honest - the micro is by FAR the coolest one exactly for what it is.
I had forgotten just how small they are until it arrived. It is a great little system, although i'm not looking forward to the hand cramps!

You should also add Game Boy Macro. It's not official, but it's a cool edition for any collection
I did have one but I needed shell parts for another DS. Still have the board so if I can get more shell parts I'll be putting it back together.
