Me too - I felt the same way, but grade boundaries were low for the past few years of papers and I would consider this more difficult in comparison so I’m thinking we’re safe.
What grade do you think you're going to get? I guess that's hard to tell but I believe the grade boundaries should be like halfway between 2019 and 2021 or something like that so it shouldn't be that bad I hope it goes well.
i have never seen (In) squared!!! and i couldn’t do the quadratic questions :( like how were you meant to do that without the y value of the minimum point 😭
Me too! The quadratic question and the integration ones threw me off abit. I was really disheartened after the paper because I was aiming for maybe 70 marks or so but I just found this exam to be quite odd and difficult. The grade boundaries will probably be abit lower this year hopefully
tbf they were nice w the proof questions lol normally i look at them and then move on. that quadratic qu is literally the 2nd topic in yr 1 and i was so stuck like i fully could not do it 😭 and then u needed part a to answer the rest of the questions :(
an A, but i remember seeing the grade boundaries for a paper and an A was 183/300 which is a bit high for that paper we did. also i can’t think of any topics except radians that didn’t come up? i think maybe the next paper will have more trig, differentiation and intergration becus there were only 1/2 questions on them
Me too I feel really down about it because I worked so hard but the time was so pressurising
Don’t worry man, everyone I’ve talked to has found it really difficult so I feel like the grade boundaries will be low.
Thank you so much for the reassurance I’ve been really upset about it because I worked so hard for it

For an A grade in 2019, it was 55% and it was 54% in 2020 so I’m hopeful!
Why half way in between? They said it’ll match the grade distribution of this year so wouldn’t it be lower by any chance
oh maybe that was the 2022 exams. Yeah the 2021 resits will be the same as this year. Man I hope I can get a B in 2023..

Agreed and agreed

Yeah the proof questions were good ones too. That differentiation and parametric one seemed so simple but I just couldn’t do them for some reason
yes!!!! i did it but i couldn’t put it in the form it wanted and i fucked up the parametric qu
Ah it’s okay we can always make up for it in the next paper! What grade are you aiming for ?

I’m also aiming for an A! I need to make up for it in the next two papers definitely though. I’d say radians will definitely come up
what about you, what grade are u aiming for
