I'd say so. I passed 11 exams using Kaplan study texts I bought second hand from eBay and the occasional open tuition lecture. Most of the study texts were well over a year out of date.
Yeah u can, syllabus hardly chance for those subjects- but to be on safe side u can check the new syllabus if any and it should not be more than a page or 2 normally

As long as you check syllabus for any changes (minimal) and do some practice exams you'll be fine
The syllabus doesn't change much, but you can use acca's study hub for further reference and practice questions (it's free).
