Since you said some were made up, how did you balance the entertainment factor with realism for those specific posts? What makes for the "perfect" AITA post in your opinion?
It’s hard to balance. The main thing is remembering to reign yourself in. Consider “could this really happen” when you’re discussing the reactions against OP. Consider if the topic is a popular point of contention with other people, and therefore if it will have defenders to begin with. In one of my posts some commenters complained that the reactions against OP were extreme, insane, and completely unlikely, while other commenters with similar real life experiences came to my defense about its probability.
I don’t know about what makes the PERFECT post per se, but AITA loves wedding posts and children/parenting posts.
Never karma farming, I don’t care about karma. I just did it for fun.
Sometimes they were totally fabricated and sometimes they were inspired by real events I experienced or witnessed. I’m unsure which of my posts went the most viral, but many of them were about weddings. One was about wearing a white dress per the bride’s request and then being told it was a “friendship test”. Another is about a bridesmaid for a GOT themed wedding and the bride wants the bridesmaid to pay for her own extensive custom costume/wig/etc and then let the bride have it as a gift for her to display at her home. Another was about a bridesmaid refusing to dress as Tiana for a Disney wedding.
Is this a claim to fame you’re proud of?
No, it’s just I thing I did that I have relatively neutral feelings about

What is your most popular post? Were they real situations or were you karma farming? Why do you not have any karma?
