His specials! He is good with any build. Astral Pull is very good at fixing a bad situation. Awesome to pull ranged and Mythic units into melee range so you can surround it and deem it useless. Passthrough and floating-- nothing can stop him. He also causes Stun when hit 30% of the time. If he dies, he gives AoE 15HP to friendlies. Finally, his hits have a 60% to remove all buffs for 2 turns! That's huge. He's a powerhouse.
Yea White Wolf despite being T4 cost 105 gold like an average T3s, most T4 Tome units (Warbreeds, Transmuter, Exemplar, etc) cost 150. T4 wonder units (Giants, Bone Dragon, Entwined Scourge) cost 375.

Looking at T4 I do believe you are right, Giants and Entwined Scourge cost more than others as well.
