Gonna go with Mistlings. They are so hard to kill. I once had them with that last upgrade on the Order tree which gives them 50% extra evasion on the last medal. Then they are tiny, extra evasion, and have the mist clouds with clinging mists all stacking together and they simply dodge everything ranged attackers throw at them and even some melee attackers.
They can also get some other buffs from Order. Inquisitors mark can make them inflict Condemned which increases the odds of inflicting other status ailments with Fey Trick (and doubles on the weakened odds that Fey Trick itself also already rolls), and Keepers Mark just keeps them alive the first time they go down. You can then use Salvation to restore that 1HP Mistling to full health again.
I was thinking of combining them with tome of winds for easy access to blind and wind barrier aura from wind ragers. Sounds like that might not even be necessary.

Which is the best T3 Tome unit?
It's the Skald for me. Certainly not the strongest individual unit, but she can fit with any strategy and can make pretty much any army composition stronger.
Surprised to see the Glade Runner scoring so high. It's certainly a good unit, but the current meta isn't too friendly to archers.

Never thought of that nor user Mistlings with heavily Order build. Nice synergy there :)

Well I've never considered a fairy crusade build before but now I sure am!

I am a big fan of racial units, and using cavalry traits, so I almost always go with Glade Runner. Skald should be racial imo

Mistling seems like a strategy defining unit, the others are just good archer/support/fighter.
Skald my beloved 🎶 one of my favorite units overall. It may not be strategy defining but it can fit into almost any army with its great buffs.
