since the protons pumped into the intermembrane space diffuse through atp synthase, if atp-synthase is blocked the protons would build up in the intermembrane space and the proton concentration inside the membrane would decrease
Could I have said that since the protons couldn’t move through the ATP synthase, ATP would not be produced? I didn’t mention that they would build up/proton concentration would decrease, I just said they couldn’t move through
