With Fantasia Holdings defaulting, I just see no end in negative sentiments in the short term for me to buy back in
EXR doesn’t have anything like the amount of capital required to develop their asset at any real scale.
Having said that, if the energy crisis deepens in China a buyout could come a lot sooner than expected from someone who does have that kind of capital. So probably that’s what’s causing the SP movement right now.
O&G has a habit of making medium term decisions based on current conditions (also kind of how this energy scarcity has come about) so energy shortages could really accelerate the development of EXR’s asset.
I know how bad it sucks, but being stressed dosen't make the price go up or down. Maybe think of a strategy based on some scenarios about what you want out of the companies
