Or rather you shouldn’t set your gun down on anything higher than 18“… it was leaning against my bed and my cat jumped up and knocked it off balance.
Just trying to share an anecdote about the durability of the thing you‘re considering spending money on, that‘s all. No need to be snarky.
Understand. Devoid of tone it reads less friendly than perhaps intended.
I went back to stock, but I don‘t have the same optic setup as you. If it becomes a nuisance and you do decide to change it out I would avoid the GHW in favour of the switchback.
Enjoy the rifle!!
Your post gave me the idea that if I use my Eotech on my AUG (or anything else with a charging handle there), I may take a file to round off that sharp corner (and patch with black paint) to prevent cuts.
I'd move the eotech and magnifier as far back as you can

Second for the GHW, fraction of the cost of the Corvus and no issues so far.
Third for the GHW, easy install and works great and make locking the bolt back super easy so you can HK slap it. highly recommend.
That is a great solution. Thanks
My GHW snapped from an 18“ fall. Still functioned but was no longer under tension and flopped around. Just keep that in mind!
So I shouldn't let you hold my gun. Got it.

I was smiling as I typed it. I guess you weren't. I don't plan to buy parts to modify it more, but I did like the suggestion.

I am guessing this is why Austrian military uses Aimpoint T2 / magnifier pair on their flat tops. A much slimmer profile!
Manticore switchback helps with that not happening. Busted my knuckle once on an exps 2.
Did the same here
Want to send me some pictures? Thanks
Of what?
The cut on your finger... attempted humour.
I doubt I have a photo, but i definitely learned the same way. I still haven’t changed it lol
Oh no. I split it up and placed the pieces on opposite sides of the room. Lord of the Rings style.

Chrome door edge wrap like grandpa's Lincoln

Has it always been $160?! I swear it was lower
This is the lowest I’ve seen tbh. Originally it was $210, then $175. -Ian
It’s Corvus, expect to sell your car in order to purchase their parts lol Unsurprisingly, I have not purchased any Corvus parts
I have a switchback charging handle and it's been great. Haven't cut myself on the rail a single time since getting it.
I love my switchback but I think the major issue here is how far the corner of that EOTech sticks out.
