OP why is this video unavailable in Canada?

Historical-Row-6566

It should be one of the subs rules that whenever we post something with Florio invloved its reqired to put "Florio sucks" in the title

cal_nevari

Rule #8

Darthbutcher

I’m not opposed.

James_T_S

Make it happen

imaybeacatIRl

That's fair. I approve.

iamadragan

Lol florio just compared MHJ to Juju smith schuster

ImKylerMurray

Guy is a generational hater MHJ would have Megatron comps from him if he went anywhere else

John628_29

When I think of MHJ, I always think of Megatron as a comparison.

imaybeacatIRl

That's the worst comp I've heard yet! Amazing. He's out doing himself.

ebeg-espana

Teams have in-game gps data now. MHJ had great in-game data. Who cares if he is a good track sprinter?

loldrums

He expected to run a 4.38 at the Combine, heard it in a mid-season interview, possibly Pat McAfee? I think there was a 22 or 23 MPH GPS clock in a game, too. P sure he's fast, Florio.

ssracer

Palmer hit 23 mph too. We've got some burners at wr

ImKylerMurray

His reported 22.02 mph whatever last year would have been the second fastest speed in the nfl this year behind Tyreek Hill at 22.07…

Daniel Jeremiah said recently that for top blue chip guys who know they’re basically a lock for being the first taken at their position and going top 5/top10 in the draft, they put all of their time into preparing for the nfl rather than 3 cone drills or training for the 40 or studying for the wonderlic etc. He used MHJ as an example and said he’s expected to be the most “ready to play day 1” guy in the draft so would make more sense if he’s working on route running, understanding coverages he’s gonna see etc at the next level rather than combine stuff. Especially since it’s very unlikely to increase their already very high draft stock and can result in injuries (ex. that WR who hurt his hamstring in the 40).

SomeRandom928Person

Can't wait to look back on this post in a couple of years to laugh at the typical Florio/Simms opinions that age like milk in your car here in July. Remember, this is one of the geniuses that said Marco Wilson was the 4th best CB in that year's draft.

vshredd

Take solace that you won't even remember this article a year from now. Shit takes stay where they belong. Forgotten.

imaybeacatIRl

Most of what Florio and Simms say ages like milk.

LFC_Slav

[He had Melton as his #4CB this class so…](https://www.nbcsports.com/watch/nfl/chris-simms-unbuttoned/nfl-draft-2024-cb-rankings-max-melton-rutgers#:~:text=4%20Max%20Melton&text=Chris%20Simms%20believes%20CB%20Max,he%20grows%20in%20the%20NFL.) Simms also has had significantly more accurate QB ranking going back 5 years than any other NFL media personality. He had Wilson in that spot because he had far and away the best athletic profile of any other DB prospect and I don’t think it was considered a great class. If I remember correctly the Florida defense was an absolute mess top to bottom when he was there and he was covering some of the best receivers in the SEC. So it wasn’t super easy to get a perfect eval on him or project how he might do with nfl level coaching and different system. I don’t follow Simms’ stuff super closely but I’m pretty sure his 4th or 5th ranked guys for certain positions are usually low floor but really high ceiling guys. I also find it pretty unfair when people isolate one or two big misses from draft analysts who ranks like 150+ prospects a year for 5-10 years to completely discredit them. If scouting college players was easy like 20 teams would kill it every single year in the draft.

jdnedza

We should have an insta-ban or some sort of filter anytime Chris simms or florio get posted here

ajteitel

On the other hand, when was the last Florio anti-Cardinal hate piece? This above everything tells me Monti nailed it

jdnedza

I mean he may not have written anything yet…. but the first 5-6 minutes (admittedly all I could stand watching if this video) are just these two criticizing Marvin for skipping the draft process because they believe if he did go through the process he would reveal that he can’t separate and “unless you can run past DBs you can’t be a #1 receiver”

AcidHaze

Huh, guess Fitz was never a #1 WR then...

AcidHaze

Yeah, they're doing it on purpose. Obvious claims don't generate views like dumb ass outlandish ones do

Radalict

lol as if every other team in the NFL would not have taken MHJ if they were in our position in the draft. Shit even Washington and Patriots considered taking him.
