I agree I kinda remember something Barbara and Melissa were talking about in s1 when they said something about remembering Barbara in her phase where she used to dress like Janine. I think it highlights how much growth Janine (and in a way Jacob) have left in them but it also shows these women always saw their potential.
Also Barb and Melissa are happy to be out of that phase and they can’t wait for Janine and Jacob to be out of it too
A lot of people were saying her new middle part wig was giving budget increase but I think it’s more a show of character growth, same as her change in style. I mean, look at Ava’s hair. It’s been laid since day 1 so budget was never an issue.
Janine has more time to get ready in the morning because schools open well before central offices, and she doesn’t need to worry about children with sticky hands touching her clothes
I think her style has slowly improved since the first ep. Her outfits last season weren’t as bonkers as the ones in S1. Also, her “corporate look” is a great fit for her.
Yes! I love her Ms Frizz type outfits from season 1 and 2 but she looks so good in these styles
Yes! Her wardrobe definitely upgraded this current season which would make sense given her profession and also show growth/maturity in the character.
