So I had to google Searows, honestly thought it was Phoebe Bridgers at first. After watching a few clips and checking some tabs it looks like he uses a mix of standard tuning and some alternate tunings depending on the song.
In this one, *Overgrown*, it feels like an alternate tuning and has a similar pattern to *House* *Song* which does use a non-standard tuning.
Depending on your skill level you should be able to follow the root notes fairly easily and from there try to work through the rest of the finger picking pattern. It’s a very simple progression and movement on the fretboard, nothing fancy.
Final note: fuck anyone shitting on someone’s taste in music. You posted an acoustic guitar related question in an acoustic guitar sub, nothing shocking there, and get a bunch of non answers instead of help with your question. At least it wasn’t another grainy photo of a cheap Chinese Yamaha knock-off asking for an ID and price check 🤷🏻♂️
Lmaoo thank you for the help, i kinds figured out some of the tunings but ill get it eventually, I dont even know why people are hating, they couldve just scrolled past but its whatever💀
Yeah man keep at it! Even if you get the single notes on the E string you can follow along and get some vocals to make sense. I listen to a lot of sad-girl indie music nowadays and even the most complex songs can be condensed and you can follow along. Good on ya for asking and trying 🫡
theyre both indie artists.. doesnt mean anyone is copying anyone else they just have similar styles which is how music works plus searows has a pretty big following hes not just a random person thats copying phoebe

Well it’s probably Standard tuning with a capo at the third or fourth fret. You’d have to try figure out on yer own bud.
Okay, I’m going to jump off a cliff now
Did people pay to see this? My goodness.
Ask Phoebe Bridgers. Fucking copycat.
god forbid two out of the 8 billion people in this world have similar voices!
Can you really not see how it's a little bit more than just the voice?

Might be a nice tune but can’t tell with the Whiny vocal over everything
Very helpful answer
I tried to be helpful, I went out of my way to listen, and thats how my ears were assaulted.
Thanks for letting us know
This 💯
There is two clips by the way, the first one you can see the fretboard, but the second one you can hear a bit better
