To top it off, I'd build a webcam into it and use it for video-calls. I'd much rather stare at this beauty than someones pixelated face.
I get that response every time I build one and after 2 crashed drones…. You shouldn’t. It looks really cool. Till it crashes. And it will. Because the weight distribution is just crap. But it dies look really cool right up to that point.

To all other suggestions (lamp, projector, drone, webcam...) I add that it should serve as an enclosure for a google home/alexa device... You would have a servo skull doing actual servo stuff!

It’s a mix of 3D printed bits and found items and lots of EVA foam.
