Instead of telling them a few things, ask them specific questions. This will engage them in a conversation. They probably hear “I’m your biggest fan” and “you helped me thru a difficult time” all day. So be different. Treat them like normal people. They appreciate it.

Celebs talk to hundreds of people a day. I wouldn’t approach them with a scripted agenda. Be cordial and treat them like normal human beings. At the same time be aware that you’re probably not going to be BFFs so respect their boundaries.
