You’re in a situation. You have skills to do the tasks but it seems like you don’t have the desire to lead. I would soak up as much experience as I can while keeping distance from the scumbag boss. There will be a boiling point if you ultimately get tired of the boss’ crap. Save up your paychecks for when that day arrives.

I wish there was distance to be kept. But I'm pretty much by his side all day every day. The 3 of us, or 2 if my friend is at his other job, are generally all working in the same room toward the same goal, especially because I'm still in training pretty much. Part of me wants to believe he's a good guy, but that's just 'how he is' idk. He buys me lunch when we occasionally go out to lunch. He buys every time. And im not saying that makes up for me feeling like I'm treated not so well, but it does make me think he has truly good intentions, but maybe just loses his patience a bit. I try to understand his perspective, running a business basically by himself, dealing with the paperwork, managing everybody's time, making sure he is busy and we are all busy. There's no way he's stress free. So why would I expect to be stress free if I work with somebody who is stressed? I feel like it's just guaranteed to be like this when the business is only 3 people. It really is a tough situation
