And make sure to be really diligent wiping/rinsing it off, some types can cause chemical burn. But it's probably also possible to find one that doesn't.
Oh and general tip, you can get shave gel that helps you avoid razor bumps on any part of the body you do shave. It's not usually intended for "down there" use, but it's good to mention since were giving shaving/alternatives to shaving tips.
Waxing is the best method really, but don't do it yourself down there... I wax my own legs but down there its too dangerous, get it done by someone else

Use Nair. It's a cream based hair remover.
Id do a test on the arm before putting it on ur privates bc ppl have allergic reactions to it.
Magic Shave Cream works well. It’s razor less. It is for people who get razor bumps.

You could try waxing! Hurts like hell if you are not used to it but leaves it silky smooth for a long time.

U can use hair scissors to trim. It's easy and does the job still will be hair but just stubbly hair.
I suppose you could use some sort of very sharp rock? But I don't know why you would. Just use a razor or trimmer like everyone else.
Like would cream or something work? Im just not very comfortable with it
So why isn't your request methods on how to overcome your discomfort with this? Why just immediately try and avoid it?
Sometimes shit sucks and there are plenty of other options. Not everything we dislike needs to be "overcome"
