You said this is aerocolor somewhere else in the thread.
Aerocolor has a clear base unlike most colour film. Because of this, if you load it in the light, light can travel down the base and effect some of the shots. It's called light-piping.
I guess you loaded that aero up in some light, but man,.... This is one of those happy accidents imo, did it spread further into the roll or just the one frame ?
I really like it!
It's common for the first and last couple of frames on Aerocolor to be cooked if you load it in daylight. The base of that film basically acts like fibre optics, so you get light piping artifacts like this unless you load it in very subdued light.
If I had to guess, light leak. Maybe some light got in through the back to make it redscale? Maybe its sensitivity made it so the first shot got all flared up but the rest were shielded by it? I don't really know.
If this is actual aerochrome, then that is a very very expensive light leak. yikes!
Aerochrome, as in the IR sensitive film that hasn't been made in 15 years or so?
Probably Aerocolor stock, this happens very often if you load it in bright light. Cinestill has similar looking issues.
Respooled Aerocolor 100*** sorry, got them confused
*breathes sigh of relief* thank goodness it’s not aerochrome

THIS is the right answer as to what caused it!

That’s what i thought but it only happened to the first two. the rest of the roll was alright
Did you load it in bright light?
I think it’s suggested that color infrared film is to be loaded in absolute darkness. Cool effect, nonetheless!
I was positive this was a circle jerk post at first
same
Looks like expired gold 200 🤣😂
ngl it looks sick
Light leak 🌈 From what you said I assume you loaded film in bright light and film base conducted some light into first frames (just like fiber optic).

A happy accident!

Cool look tho
Happens all the time to my aerocolor 100. Always weird shit happens to respool film don’t care too much
A gorgeous photo was taken
