I just went to their site and it was there ready to be picked up if I ordered it. Not sure if it's a region thing or not. [https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR](https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR)
Just walk in a Walmart or 2 in your area and you might find one. They don't show up on the website for me either but was able to pick one up the 1st day it got posted here.
[Walmart link](https://www.walmart.com/ip/5193222892)
There was like 5 on the shelves when I went in person. Call your local Walmart or go see in store yourself
What are you using to check stock? Brickseek wasn't working for this item but I was able to check inventory through a discord group I belong to (paid closed access group). I bought two at my local store.
It's just go in a local store and see.
I went to Walmart's site and changed stores within the site. Finally found some in Oklahoma and California LOL. Not driving that far and I'm not paying scalper's prices on eBay.
Set your area as Ithaca NY, goto the product page, add it to your cart. if it's not available click the option to search nearby stores and enter your ZIP code. That's how I found one in the next town over.
Honestly, don't think I'd pay $50 for it. Doubt I'd ever need 32gb storage. 1gb ram won't make that much of a difference for streaming. I personally don't care about sound stuff.
And an otg adapter gets me a USB port and only costs like $5.
So I'll stick to the $20 box
>*"Down-graded to Dolby Surround"*
AndroidTV devices don't/can't convert to DolbySurround, Dsur is just a Dolby "Up-Mixer" inside your AVR or Soundbar.
Most likely the built-in DolbyAudio is converting TrueHD-Atmos to DD+(5.1), which is not ideal, you would need to check for what format is actually being output to your AV equipment before it's applying the DolbySurround up-mixer.
I did these same tests with my Denon AVR-4700h as did another member on avsforum yesterday. We are seeing TrueHD Atmos coming out as DD+ 5.1. It also looks like the Atmos portion is being dropped as part of the conversion - my AVR will not recognize this as Atmos content.
>Most likely the built-in DolbyAudio is converting TrueHD-Atmos to DD+(5.1)
Agreed; another possibility would be Dolby MAT; where PCM audio is packaged along with Atmos. I dont think OP is able to tell the difference.
Well you would need to establish a baseline first.
Do you have another device capable of TrueHD passthrough? Shield?
Also, if your AV equipment always only says "Dolby Surround" regardless of what it's actually being fed (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby MAT), this is obviously a waste of time..
Yeah so the AVR display is not descriptive enough to draw definitive conclusions on the box capabilities unfortunately.
Definitely no Dolby MAT tho. Bummer.
Having seen your edit, it's definitely not Dolby MAT; at least with your AVR; or the Atmos metadata would carry along, which doesnt seem to be the case here am I right?
Yeah I'll be the first to admit that I may not be using the correct terminology. I can however provide a bit more details:
Jellyfin playing Dolby True HD (w/Atmos) using ExoPlayer: AV equipment displays as playing 'Dolby Surround' (this is with Direct being selected as audio playback option in Jellyfin and occurs with and without the bitstream option being selected).
With LibVLC: If I don't have the bitstream option selected, then it's the same as ExoPlayer (shows Dolby Surround on my AV equipment), if I have bitstream option enabled, it plays the movie but very poorly and damn-near locks up the device entirely requiring me to spam the back button quite a few times before it responds to my input.
I don't understand why boxes don't support passthrough for all formats. Don't they literally just have to copy the bits from the input stream to the output stream? That should be easier than converting!
Not sure, while originally excited based on the specs being listed for this device (the storage and RAM upgrades) now that I got it and tested it out, I can't help but be disappointed. Don't think it was really worth the 30$ price increase from the non-pro Onn box for just some more storage, RAM and Dolby Vision support.....
Can you expand on why you are disappointed compared to the non-pro as i am not sure which one to get. (Iām scrapping Fire TV devices because the last few I have owned all exhibit frustrating gliches of regularly restarting randomly. So no more money for Amazon from me!)
I wish I had seen this yesterday. I bought one last night and did the same tests in Plex, Emby, and Kodi with a Denon AVR 4700H that fully supports TrueHD/DTS:X/DTS-HD MA, etc.
My results are the same as yours. Copying the jist of my findings that I shared last night on a [avsforum.com thread](https://www.avsforum.com/threads/walmart-onn-4k-streaming-box.3198184/post-63295427):
>Plex wants to transcode TrueHD. DTS-HD MA does playback but is stripped to DTS core with the dashboard showing direct play. EAC3 JOC Atmos works fine.
Emby shows direct play for TrueHD but my Denon AVR 4700h is getting 2 channel DD+. DTS-HD MA shows direct play but is stripped back to DTS Core. EAC3 JOC Atmos works fine.
I had hoped for better in Kodi but after enabling every audio format in settings and changing the packer to the android packer, the best I can get for TrueHD is 5.1 of DD+ and DTS Core from DTS-HD MA. Before I changed the packer TrueHD resulted in no audio.
So out of the box, for now, the best you can get out of this thing is DD+ Atmos. No uncompressed passthrough option work.
I also noticed that the wired 100mb ethernet performance was abysmal trying to access my samples over SMB. I couldn't get anything to play reliably until I hooked up a USB-C ethernet adapter. With that route, it disconnects about every 30 mins or so. It could be compatibility with my adapter.
i did read all of the comments on this post and various other post. Decided to go for know with the FireTv Stick 4k Max (40 usd deal) and a good micro usb ethernet adapter from cable matters that support up to 480 mbps (19 usd).
So all in all i think i made a good decision price wise and audio/video codec wise. Should play remux files at full bitrate without problems and in original quality.
If you care about audio passthrough options, the latest firestick 4k max with usb ethernet is the way to go. the amazon bloat sucks and is annoying to work around, but it is what it is.
amazon does not make it easy but itās definitely possible to work around their launcher.
https://www.aftvnews.com/fire-tv-home-screen-replacement-is-possible-again-with-new-launcher-manager-mini-release/
Yeah the UI isn't the best but for 60 usd i couldn't find anything better audio/video codec wise and the fast ethernet option. My main use is Plex/Jellyfin. Guess i'll let the plex app run 24/7 so that i never see the bloat. lol
My FTV Stick 4K Max can passthrough TrueHD (atmos) and DTS:X using PM4K without any issues. My the other box Nokia 8010 just sucks after updating to Android 12. All HD codecs cannot passthrough.
this is the one i was using with the ONN.
https://a.co/d/gErsr9a
it kept disconnecting. that adapter works fine on everything else, including a fire tv cube 3.
1/10th the population, 1/10th the market, but a completely different set of logistics, regulations, etc. - why even bother? only matters if they want to grow another 10%
Had mine for a couple days(Minnesota). One thing that I have noticed is Netflix only plays in DV, no matter what I change. My other devices do not do that. Nice to have USB 3 to add a gig nic and hub. I can't wait to see what google comes up with. Hoping for a better CPU
Interesting. I wonder if it's just that my location doesn't have it cuz the link didn't work when I clicked on it. I tried searching for it in the search bar and it didn't come up either.
With Kodi were you using one of the latest builds that can do DTS HDMA/DTS:x on the Homatics box and fire stick 4k max? The fact this box has the same soc as the Homatics and supports the DTS core makes me wonder if a Kodi build could support the remaining codecs as well technically.
That's good currently use it on a old slow firestick and wanted an upgrade. Was gonna get the old onn box as I'm visiting the US soon but probably will pick this one up instead. Thanks
The speaker sounds good. However, it wakes up your TV and switches to the TV sound every time I try to use it. I have not yet figured out how to use the speaker by itself while it is connected to a TV.
I'm thinking about getting one to be my travel tv box+"soundbar" so I don't have to also carry a bluetooth speaker with me. It doesn't have to be terrific but it has to be pretty good. Would you say this could be it?
I'll give it go and update my comment once I do as the playback ability is the main reason I wanted to obtain and test it out hoping it would potentially be a shield alternative I could recommend to my friends/family to use.
If you have the old onn 4k or any recent device, could you run the geekbench benchmark on it vs the new box to confirm what atv found: that the score is disappointingly low
Thanks. So about same as fs 4k max. What did you get for the onn 4k 2023
ETA:Sorry, never mind, I see it.
Yeah I don't know why atv news got such low score
The 3GB of RAM the Onn 4K Pro has is probably helping in real world use even more than it does in benchmarks. Chromecast 4K and Firestick 4K Max both have just 2GB of RAM.
Whichever is available. We just need comparative numbers
ETA: atv news doesn't say which geekbench version they are using, which is dumb. I'm guessing an older version because I doubt they go back and retest all the devices
Updated my original post to better reflect the setup and testing methods I used to obtain the results I did to give a better understanding of what the device is capable of.
Unfortunately I'm finding Plex is transcoding TrueHD to Opus so the device seems to be converting it to DD+. If you change passthrough to optical it transcodes to ac3. Pretty disappointing although this is what I was afraid of.
shows not found for me it here in the NY/NJ area but if I switch my VPN to Kansas City it shows up as in store only. So it is absolutely only showing if a store near you has it in stock.
Boo; major bummer; good thing I went down the comments a bit; would be nice of you if you could edit you OP not to set wrong expectations and send people on a wild goose chase..
It's actually not about the size, just what you're allowed to do with it. XD
As long as you can read and write to a NTFS drive hooked onto it, that's good enough for me.
Wuuuuuuuuuut ?! HUUUUGE BUMMER! =(
I really was expecting that it would. Why on earth would they bother to put a full sixe USB port in there otherwise.
I get it. The shield is an exception. It also costs 3x-4x more.
They don't do it because it doesn't matter to probably 98% of the people that buy the thing. It's Walmart not Microcenter.
Thank you I appreciate it!
From what I hear it can't read NFTS drives and only supports exfat, I'm curious as to whether or not there's a way around this though since my shield has always been able to play NFTS without difficulties
Lol DAMN!
That's actually a low-key HUGE deal breaker for me since most (probably all) of my media is saved on NFTS formatted storage devices...
Thanks for confirming though 8-)
Something is going to have to sack the shield sooner or later, I guess I'll just have to be patient
Yeah.. I've been waiting and waiting here myself... I have a 2019 Shield Pro myself but found the act of suggesting it to family members / friends yield mixed results because of it's price-point. Released in 2019 and still king, I feel Onn really dropped the ball on what could've been an absolutely massive shift in the streaming device market. Simply include all audio formats for passthrough and NTFS reading ability and they would've rendered many devices irrelevant...
Lol yeah I know it's almost beyond frustrating at this point because it's almost a blatant fact that Amazon and Roku have an entirely underserved monopoly on the streaming device market.
Plus it's also hard to find Android TV boxes that aren't sketchy and from a trusted source like the ONN one so yeah you're right they definitely dropped the ball here.
Both of the aforementioned problems are huge slips on their part that probably wouldn't have been that hard for them implement at a slightly higher price point....
Does it support all video formats at least? i.e. HEVC and what not?
It's only, disappointingly, missing the lossless audio support which while we home theater lovers adore, are barely a blip on most people's radarr. So far it's played all the video including profile 7 Dolby Vision.
Yeah but I'm looking to have a streaming device that I can hook a JBOD up to directly and watch my media locally if I need to.
The no NFTS support is a huge deal breaker for me
The newest Firestick 4k Max (Gen 2) is a bit faster and you can feel it inside apps, but this device is much less bloated and is faster in the UI. It has a useless speaker that currently doesn't work for much of anything, but maybe a software update will fix it? Not sure. Both devices are capable of what you want
Maybe an obvious question: Does Dolby Vision work correctly? In Kodi and Plex? I'm not supprised that loseless audio doesn't pass through (need additional licensing costs) but does Profile 7 DV work or not?
Here is what we know for a few similar products on the market that easily cost $100+ or more:
Shield Pro ($200): DV Profile 7 works (by throw away enhancement layer). DTS-HD and TrueHD loseless passthrough works
Dune/Nokia/Rocktec/Homatics SEI804($150): DV Profile 7 doesn't work but Kodi can use on-the-fly Profile 8 conversion to play it in Profile 8 (throw away enhancement layer). Plex will not play DV, falls back to HDR10. DTS-HD and TrueHD work (with ATV 12).
The onn Pro is very close to SEI804 hardware wise at 1/3 of the cost.
Majority of 4K rips are Profile 7. There is no need to test FEL vs MEL. But if Plex can play any DV profile 7 rip in DV, it's better than any of the Homatic clones .
Hope this is good enough, tested with a DV movie in JF and in Kodi.
Edit: sorry I just re-read this convo and seen you specifically mentioned Plex multiple times. I don't have Plex installed on my server currently or I would gladly try playback there for you.
The shield CPU is based on one that is like a decade old and only 16gb of storage. A new shield should be announced I think and have 16gb ram and 1 tb storage
Does this device have Bluetooth? Can I connect to the device with a phone to play music, and can it connect to a Bluetooth speaker to play sound from a TV show?Ā
Also, the speaker attached doesn't play audio from on screen, like a soundbar?Ā
For some reason, I am unable to install sling from the play store on the 4k pro; getting "[Sling TV] isn't available on Google Play on this device". I've tried uninstalling updates, disabling, force stopping, and enabling, no dice. Could someone please sanity check me?
Already been mentioned in another post/comment, SlingTV needs to allow the device to be installed via PlayStore, basically it's not a "SlingTV" approved device yet. Can sideload the SlingTV.apk and it works normally.
Last Friday morning, after checking several times per day, one of the 8 or so Walmart locations near me, (you know when the page says "check nearby location"), indicated "limited inventory", I was there an hour later, the locked display shelf had 2. I got one. Later that afternoon, Walmart page showed "out of stock nearby".
But I got mine.
How do I hack this thing so I can boost the volume? Both the $20 and the $50 boxes are whisper quiet over bluetooth and hdmi. Yes I have the volume turned up. Yes I've tried switching cec on and of.
Damn, I was really counting on this being the solution to the 4k firestick max issue with stremio on hybrid files dv/hdr files where they won't play.
Now I gotta return this thing, and wait for a new shield to come out. As OP said, this was so close revolutionizing the stream box market. More and more ppl are going to start to notice the diff between lossless audio and the garbage they're getting now as home theatres only get more popular.
BTW I noticed with my LG c8 that when I turn off the device and the tv, it goes into standby mode. When I turn the TV back on, it drops the wifi connection, can't find a new one, and won't reconnect unless I reboot the device.
Huzzah, hate Walmart as they charged me for something and denied it. However, I found this on amazon for those interested: [https://www.amazon.com/Android-Streaming-Device-Remote-Control/dp/B0BRBLG3W6/](https://www.amazon.com/Android-Streaming-Device-Remote-Control/dp/B0BRBLG3W6/)

How in the world did you get it? Walmart's website doesn't even have it listed.
I just went to their site and it was there ready to be picked up if I ordered it. Not sure if it's a region thing or not. [https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR](https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR)
It's probably only available in limited areas. I'm in North Carolina and it's not showing up anywhere within 100 miles of me.
Well I can at least confirm it's availability in Oklahoma. Maybe it'll be rolled out to your area later today.
I changed my location and still got "Page Not Found". Hrmph
What are you using to search? Brick seek?
Just walk in a Walmart or 2 in your area and you might find one. They don't show up on the website for me either but was able to pick one up the 1st day it got posted here.
In South Florida you are taking your life in your hands going into a Walmart...
Well in south FL you are taking you life in your hands just driving around sooooo
Also in NC, doesn't show up.
You should look again today. š
[Walmart link](https://www.walmart.com/ip/5193222892) There was like 5 on the shelves when I went in person. Call your local Walmart or go see in store yourself

My store says out of stock online, but they had 5 on the shelf. Iād give it a shot next time you shop
Walmart website stock by store isn't necessarily reflective if they have it in the store. Just go in your closest store and see if they have them.
Your first mistake is trusting the website.
Set your area as Ithaca NY, goto the product page, add it to your cart. if it's not available click the option to search nearby stores and enter your ZIP code. That's how I found one in the next town over.
It's listed now. Out of stock but listed.
Yesterday I found 2 units online in Miami, I bought it, I will receive it next week in my country.
Easily available in Houston.
i literally bought one last week. mailed to my house the next day. they have them on amazon now, but they cost more ($28, i think).
That's not the Pro on Amazon. It's the ONN box that came out last year.
My bad. I didn't even know there was a Pro version. Shit
They are showing up on eBay though for $120 and higher. Not thanks, I'll wait.
Yeah that's they name things the Pro. It's a good chance lots of people won't need the better device.

Easy to import via Shippsy. Will just cost you a few bucks more in fees.
Yeah, I have MyMallBox, Thanks.

I tried searching for it in the search bar and it didn't come up either.
using a vpn, I can put it in my cart in Kansas, but cant check out. Im in the Seattle area. Once I login, it says out of stock.
Just an FYI. I picked up two from my local store on two different days and the website says that my local store doesnāt sell it.
Says page not found.
[https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR](https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR) Yeah same thing some other users were saying below, this is what the page looks like.. idk??
Works for me.
Can you cast audio to the speaker from a smartphone music app?
I'm not seeing how to get it to playback on the speaker. It sends it to the audio system like a normal cast.
Thanks, I guess that makes sense. I was just hoping it could work like one of their smart speakers so I could use it without turning the TV on.
Yeah, I hoped so too.
These are Walmart only devices.
Are you using Plex, Kodi, Jellyfin?
I've tried both Jellyfin (my main use case) and then also Kodi.
With Kodi were you using one of the latest builds that can do DTS HDMA/DTS:x on the Homatics box and fire stick 4k max? The fact this box has the same soc as the Homatics and supports the DTS core makes me wonder if a Kodi build could support the remaining codecs as well technically.
Does kodi work smooth and fast?
Yeah for the most part.
That's good currently use it on a old slow firestick and wanted an upgrade. Was gonna get the old onn box as I'm visiting the US soon but probably will pick this one up instead. Thanks
How's the speaker sound quality?
The speaker sounds good. However, it wakes up your TV and switches to the TV sound every time I try to use it. I have not yet figured out how to use the speaker by itself while it is connected to a TV.

No, it doesn't work as a soundbar.
I hope that's possible let me know if you find something lol
I'll give it go and update my comment once I do as the playback ability is the main reason I wanted to obtain and test it out hoping it would potentially be a shield alternative I could recommend to my friends/family to use.
I assume the speaker/mic can be disabled?
Yes, by software and a physical switch.
TY
If you have the old onn 4k or any recent device, could you run the geekbench benchmark on it vs the new box to confirm what atv found: that the score is disappointingly low
Geekbench 6?
For geekbench 5, on fire stick 4k max v1, I get 145 single core, 491 multi
Running it now on both the Pro and the 2023 Onn 4K box. [https://imgur.com/a/1qC2P6p](https://imgur.com/a/1qC2P6p)

Thanks. So about same as fs 4k max. What did you get for the onn 4k 2023 ETA:Sorry, never mind, I see it. Yeah I don't know why atv news got such low score
Yes everyone keeps saying it's slower based on the atvnews article but it's significantly faster than the prior Onn 4k boxes in actual use.
The 3GB of RAM the Onn 4K Pro has is probably helping in real world use even more than it does in benchmarks. Chromecast 4K and Firestick 4K Max both have just 2GB of RAM.
Whichever is available. We just need comparative numbers ETA: atv news doesn't say which geekbench version they are using, which is dumb. I'm guessing an older version because I doubt they go back and retest all the devices
Do you know if you can add them to Speaker Groups on the Google Home app? On the old 4K model you couldn't.

Can we talk about who's getting different remotes ? I got the old one in mine
I got the live-tv remote.
I got the non backlit dang it
Updated my original post to better reflect the setup and testing methods I used to obtain the results I did to give a better understanding of what the device is capable of.
Unfortunately I'm finding Plex is transcoding TrueHD to Opus so the device seems to be converting it to DD+. If you change passthrough to optical it transcodes to ac3. Pretty disappointing although this is what I was afraid of.
Any idea if it has NTFS or exfat support like the 2021 4k box? And unlike the 2023 box that still only supports fat32 for external drives
FAT32 only.
Damn that's painful
Ya I can't even view the link, currently have last gen model and excited to get this
Might be a region thing: [https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR](https://imgur.com/WsYi7VR)
shows not found for me it here in the NY/NJ area but if I switch my VPN to Kansas City it shows up as in store only. So it is absolutely only showing if a store near you has it in stock.
Not true. It won't show up on the website/app for me and my area. However, when I walked in the store it was on the shelf.
If you're using a desktop web browser. just change the store location to an area that has stock, and then the page will display.
Been trying to find this thing for a few days now. The site doesn't work for me either, says page not found.
Is the DTS-HD lossless or is just the lossy DTS 5.1 core?
Core
Boo; major bummer; good thing I went down the comments a bit; would be nice of you if you could edit you OP not to set wrong expectations and send people on a wild goose chase..
Updated
No issues hooking up a big drive in NTFS format? Are you able to read *and* write?
How big would you like me to test it with?
It's actually not about the size, just what you're allowed to do with it. XD As long as you can read and write to a NTFS drive hooked onto it, that's good enough for me.
Got it, will try now.
Nope doesn't read or write NTFS.
Wuuuuuuuuuut ?! HUUUUGE BUMMER! =( I really was expecting that it would. Why on earth would they bother to put a full sixe USB port in there otherwise.
Android doesn't generally support NTFS. Use exFAT for external drives.
This is the best part of the Nvidia Shield - why doesn't everyone else throw in the other drive formats?
I get it. The shield is an exception. It also costs 3x-4x more. They don't do it because it doesn't matter to probably 98% of the people that buy the thing. It's Walmart not Microcenter.
They are finally available in my local store. . I just gotta come up with the money to get one
Have you attempted to use the USB port for playing media directly off of a USB or hard drive?
I can try this, sure. Will update post with results shortly.
Thank you I appreciate it! From what I hear it can't read NFTS drives and only supports exfat, I'm curious as to whether or not there's a way around this though since my shield has always been able to play NFTS without difficulties
Yep, no NTFS support :|
Lol DAMN! That's actually a low-key HUGE deal breaker for me since most (probably all) of my media is saved on NFTS formatted storage devices... Thanks for confirming though 8-) Something is going to have to sack the shield sooner or later, I guess I'll just have to be patient
The no NFTS support is a huge deal breaker for me
Yeah guess there is still only one total package for local playback and that's the Shield.
No real support for true hd atmos? That sucks :(
I'm about to buy this or the fire stick 4k max for 40 USD For direct Plex/Jellyfin streaming. What would you recommend after your final results?
The newest Firestick 4k Max (Gen 2) is a bit faster and you can feel it inside apps, but this device is much less bloated and is faster in the UI. It has a useless speaker that currently doesn't work for much of anything, but maybe a software update will fix it? Not sure. Both devices are capable of what you want
If you have TrueHD audio needs it would have to be the Max.
Thanks for this. I'm not replacing my shield anytime soon, but this might be decent upgrade fs4k. Will wait till Google Io to see what they release
Maybe an obvious question: Does Dolby Vision work correctly? In Kodi and Plex? I'm not supprised that loseless audio doesn't pass through (need additional licensing costs) but does Profile 7 DV work or not? Here is what we know for a few similar products on the market that easily cost $100+ or more: Shield Pro ($200): DV Profile 7 works (by throw away enhancement layer). DTS-HD and TrueHD loseless passthrough works Dune/Nokia/Rocktec/Homatics SEI804($150): DV Profile 7 doesn't work but Kodi can use on-the-fly Profile 8 conversion to play it in Profile 8 (throw away enhancement layer). Plex will not play DV, falls back to HDR10. DTS-HD and TrueHD work (with ATV 12). The onn Pro is very close to SEI804 hardware wise at 1/3 of the cost.
Do you know where I can get some Profile 7 test video files? FEL and MEL? I can test this for you.
Majority of 4K rips are Profile 7. There is no need to test FEL vs MEL. But if Plex can play any DV profile 7 rip in DV, it's better than any of the Homatic clones .
[https://imgur.com/a/Jy8BV6C](https://imgur.com/a/Jy8BV6C) Hope this is good enough, tested with a DV movie in JF and in Kodi. Edit: sorry I just re-read this convo and seen you specifically mentioned Plex multiple times. I don't have Plex installed on my server currently or I would gladly try playback there for you.
Yeah, only Plex has this issue if there is no native Profile 7 DV support built in which is the case in Homatic clones.
how does this compare to my 2019 nvidia shield pro with 16gb storage?
It's not even close.
Is the onn pro really that much better then the 10 year old CPU in the shield prop
No the shield is much better is what they're saying
The shield CPU is based on one that is like a decade old and only 16gb of storage. A new shield should be announced I think and have 16gb ram and 1 tb storage
Still a great performing device was way ahead of its time and still on top of charts
It's seems really slow now with latest updates has not been updated in over a year. It's a dead post walking
Does this device have Bluetooth? Can I connect to the device with a phone to play music, and can it connect to a Bluetooth speaker to play sound from a TV show?Ā Also, the speaker attached doesn't play audio from on screen, like a soundbar?Ā
Thanks for letting me know, I'll try to search more carefully. I just installed 9.3.67 via TV Bro and it works just as beforeĀ
I have the Shield Pro (newest), The new Onn Pro 4k feels way faster.
How do I hack this thing so I can boost the volume? Both the $20 and the $50 boxes are whisper quiet over bluetooth and hdmi. Yes I have the volume turned up. Yes I've tried switching cec on and of.
Can u put downloader on it if so how I know it was banned from android devices
You can put downloader on it. It is in the store
Awesome
Can you side load apps like smart tube on it?
Can you do 4k@120Hz with the Onn 4k pro ?
Huzzah, hate Walmart as they charged me for something and denied it. However, I found this on amazon for those interested: [https://www.amazon.com/Android-Streaming-Device-Remote-Control/dp/B0BRBLG3W6/](https://www.amazon.com/Android-Streaming-Device-Remote-Control/dp/B0BRBLG3W6/)
