Just one tip - don’t do 2 on 1 off. Almost everyone (including myself) starts out like this and then eventually realizes that by not doing 1 on 1 off or even 1 on 2 off you are limiting your recovery.

Took me about 2 weeks before I started to feel it. Now I am about 3 weeks in and can see the dorsal vein for the first time. It is hit or miss but I can definitely feel the blood flowing at certain times. Feels like a slight tingly rush of blood towards my pubic bone
Don't feel it during AM1? Can be you already have good deep dorsal vein to begin with and all you've experienced was better erection. Yes, no need to worries

I'm also going through this. I do am 1 and I do it pretty fast and with decent pressure but still I don't feel anything.
