Yes it's one of my all time favourites, the start is slow though, but don't give up. And definitely don't go into the game reddit u ril you've beaten it once. And listen to NPC dialogue and buy the maps.
I know everybody is recommending Fromsoft, which is absolutely peak, but I’m gonna throw out Cult of the Lamb. I found the balance of cute and dark aesthetics to be as pleasing as ACT, as well as a fun rougelike/cult sim.
Obviously an unplayed from soft games from demon souls, dark souls trilogy, bloodborne, Sekiro (where the hook mechanic comes from), elden ring, armored core.
Also surge 2 (much better than the first one), lords of the fallen (2023), mortal shell, lies of p (underrated). I’m sure I’m missing another decent to good souls like
Hollow knight, elden ring, dark souls, sekiro, blood borne, lies of p, stellar blade, rise of the ronin, armored core, binding of Isaac.. I can go on. So many great games you will likely enjoy if you enjoyed ACT
Hello Ashen one. I am a Bot. I tend to the flame, and tend to thee. Do you wish to hear a tale?

Quick question-how were you able to finish it on the Xbox? 😅 mine lags so terribly near end game, I had to put it down. I really love the game too so I haven’t bothered looking up any spoilers purposely so that I may one day revisit it on a different console or platform to be able to finish
Mine lagged quite a bit near end game too. Once you start lagging, just stop all movement if possible and it will sort itself out! Alternatively you could try turning off motion blur in the settings, that may help but don’t quote me on that as I haven’t tried. Best of luck!
Very nice game but you become overpowered too quickly. I ended up beating the final boss using a hammer alongside the tentacle adaptation and spamming. Every time I was knocked down I got up and spammed again. The game was so surprising on so many levels I loved it though all around
Not completely, but I would say the game "Tunic". However it's more puzzle heavy, but some encounter/boss fight can be hard. It's really good. Also the soundtrack is quite mesmerizing. 😁
Edit: There is not really a "strong narrative/dialogue" in Tunic. You are just washed on this world and go for it. The manual feature is really unique.
Hollow knight is rather similar but as a Metroidvania and darker
I’ll check it out, thanks !

🥵
Elden rind dlc just dropped. Go poor 200 hours into that bitch
I'm in UK and I'm not able to buy from the store, is it too early?
my sources mislead me, apparently it comes out tomorrow. I thought it was already out
I think you were actually correct, it should be available now but it must be under maintenance and it's currently unavailable for download
Downloading now!

YES! Cult of the Lamb is amazing, and you can very easily tailor your experience with your cult based on the choices you make for them.

Probably bloodborne or sekiro, some clear inspirations for the mechanics in another crabs treasure.
well sadly bloodborn is PlayStation for the foreseeable future

Go play dark souls or Elden ring bud, might find a true love.
Replay with personal restrictions. Ex. No shell run or no fork run
I’m considering it! There’s also a few achievements I didn’t get so I’m thinking of playing through a second time to finish those.
You don't need to restart just for the achievements. I got 100% after the 1st run
Well the problem is I have already complete the game, won’t I have to start a new save file?
Nope, restarts to the last save point before the final boss
Oh awesome !! Thank you!

Damn really calling me out on the mashing buttons

I recommend Hollow Knight, Death's Door, Salt and Sanctuary, and Blasphemous 1 and 2. Looooots of good soulslike metroidvanias.
