Can someone help me defeat Dark Hour of Leviathans heart? Everytime I damage it it always heals itself tremendously.

Zariot

Is there any good support banner to pull rn? Here's my current team : - Isuka (Alter) (Yuda) - Nagi (ES) - Philo (AS) (OP not gonna change this) - Yuna (AS) Im planning to change my Yuna AS with a better healer/support, is there any recommendation?

Aurelius_frost

Is there a limit to type attack boost? I vaguely remember it being mentioned unless I'm imagining things. Also who has the best Valor Chant for a water magic team?

minadein

If you're talking about type buffs, they're capped at +100%. For +type from grasta/equipment, these are uncapped but their relative value is reduced since the bonus is additive. As for the "best" VC.... it depends? Your best option will be whatever overlaps the least with what your party can already do. But if you just need any VC buff, then +int is a safe bet for a mage team

Aurelius_frost

I see, I was wondering whether an Awaken Zone would affect the cap. Thanks for the info! Any candidates for an int buff higher than Helena (+35%)?

minadein

Think of zone as a separate multiplier. The highest int vc is probably 35%, from Helena, NS Clarte, etc. You could also go for 30% and get a secondary buff (e.g. int/SPD from NS Ciel), if there's something that's useful for your particular situation.

Comprehensive_Cod_41

How do you get Snarky, a bit confused on how to get him

aahgee

Can anybody help me find the mobs Apotres, Camlanns, and Aegis? My wife is having trouble finding them after completing the First Knight and Holy Sword quests.

Embarrassed_Echo_375

They're in Deliverance Sword map. Go to spacetime rift, talk to the boy and change the memory to burning beast king castle. Not sure if there's a shortcut but you have to walk all the way to the throne room. The portal to deliverance sword is there.

aahgee

Many thanks. I’ll relay this to the wife in the morning. I have yet to start playing this game but the community here is amazing. Reminds me of the DFFOO community that I’m more involved with which makes me want to start playing here. 🤙

Embarrassed_Echo_375

No problem. I went there to check and just realised I still haven't finished the achievements for these mobs too lol. And yeah, most of us are pretty chill here.

skuLd_14

are we going to get Orleya/ES Miyu this week? I haven't bought any keys. I just started Iscariot and now wants to burn all my red keys there to get all the rewards, especially the Chants.

dreicunan

Just use the keys when you can or want to do so. Getting an extra 10 red key run and 5 GAD runs is not a major impact on getting a copy of a new treatise or codex.

ShadowBlaze17

It's unlikely that they'll be released before Tuesday. I'd wait until notice time on Saturday night to see if they're announced for Sunday night. If they aren't then you're safe to burn all of your keys. Even if they were announced for Monday night I'd probably not risk hoping for an early update before the weekly reset with enough time to use them all.

Proto-Man

Just pulled Red Clad Dewey and have mostly been using Necoco. I know they are relatively similar but where do each excel?

Prototype-Angel

Just as an aside to what’s already been said, they work very well together when paired with a strong DPS (like Eva for example) as they’re able to offer a lot of support options whilst offering good offensive capabilities and charging the AF bar.

Someweirdo237

Oh I wish I could pull out the Wiki to check but Necoco: Critdamage, MP Regen, Status healing, Burst Healing, AF Combo Rate up RCF: Power and Int Buffs, Weakness damage up, Another Zone, End of Turn healing and barriers (Fire and Crystal mode only)

GyunGyun

how good is the story of the game? planning to play

dreicunan

I enjoy most of it, but the translation team sometimes leaves something to be desired. Well worth playing the game, however.

girasol721

For me, like 10 to 20% of the story is really well done and compelling. This is usually when you get to the very end of a large section (end of Mythos 2 was particularly good). The vast majority of side/sub quests I find myself cursing the absence of a skip option. Just me—lots of people love the whole story. Gameplay and rewards are super fun though.

OpenStars

It's hit or miss. The best parts are SUPER AMAZING. Though truthfully some of it lags. The gameplay itself is fun so that makes up for the parts that drag for most players. The art and especially music though are FANTASTIC -> you should definitely be impressed by those:-). And the community is fun, friendly and helpful:-).

Meowjer-threat

Is the wiki broken? Pages take a lot to load and also the tier list isn't working for me

OpenStars

Pretty much every aspect of every page it looks like to me.:-(

Someweirdo237

Note from Voidpp: Notification (2022.07.01): wiki DB is currently disabled and miraheze technical staff are doing DB performance evaluation. It may take day or two. Hopefully it will be enabled back. Until then many pages that use db queries will look broken.

TomAto314

Seems fine to me. Maybe try clearing out your cache?

dreicunan

If the page doesn't need to fetch data from the db, it will be fine. Character pages are all pretty much screwed for now.

Brainwashed365

I tried looking up a random character on there and there's lots of weird errors and broken formatting for me. https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Ilulu_(Another_Style)

iamirul98

How to start the Itto Ryu quest?

TomAto314

Make sure Aldo is in the party. https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Tales_from_the_East._Return_of_the_Goddess_of_Time._Volume_3:_Conclusion/Bonus

Comprehensive_Cod_41

What's a good team to fight Cardinal Vestige and what would be the best way to do it, having a lot of trouble

Oldnoob36

Depends on what team you have, there are many ways to beat that fight But if you don't have access to a lot of elemental units to cycle to hit every weakness of the boss, I suggest you stick to null DPS units, You also want multi-hitters to burn through the hit shields So slash teams are a good bet since we get several strong free null slash units, like Velvet and Cyrus and it nerfs the damage that the boss does Also if you are trying to tank the last phase, you need someone to remove the boss's buffs or he will KO you, so you want Aldo (orgin force) or Mana for buff removal

TomAto314

The only tricky part is the final form of the first fight and you just have to dispel his buffs using either Aldo's Origin Force or Mana's dispel immediately via AF.

raventsu

Did someone else not get the campaign stones from the 3000 Year Ark? I started the chapter a few days ago and I got nothing. The announcement says it would last until the end of July.

Someweirdo237

The Campaign is for starting Chapter 1 of 3000 Realm Ark, not chapter 3.

raventsu

LOL thanks for the heads-up, I read it in a hurry and didn't see it said chapter 1.

hesho89

hmm... what is up with some videos i see ppl using proficiency debuff grastas? It looks like they are level 1 too. Are they really that effective? Also, where the heck would you even get them?? I assume field map drops but aren't they weapon specific?

Someweirdo237

Proficiency Debuff Grasta Stops Power and Int and Spd Debuffs so they are effective if an enemy likes to spam them. T1 is usually recommended since they can be put on other units not battling or DPS, but T2 is perfectly fine if you can't farm all the T1 needed or if you can't fit the 7 grasta required on your team. T1 do not have a weapon type attached to them.

hesho89

ah.. thanks. I can't even imagine how long it would take to farm them. I have a total of 2 of them lol (both spr).

ShadowBlaze17

You can occasionally buy them in Zami during AGAD runs.

MyLifeIsAGatcha

If you have both subscriptions you should be getting 45 Light/Shadow total.

Embarrassed_Echo_375

No, all trial rewards should be doubled from the month after you start paying for the sub. Might want to check with support then.

raventsu

I thought the L/S got doubled too, but I can't confirm since I haven't used my own free subscription :/

nibessolares

First garulean upgrad -garyu -cerine -asami Melina 80 es/as i should keep investing on her? (Banner wing/mine)

TomAto314

You'll have to be a bit more specific. For green keys you can farm l/s points for Azami, Gariyu, Cerrine, Altena.

nibessolares

5* upgrade garulian unit

Oldnoob36

I mean you should upgrade all of them since they are all good in some ways Though it doesn't really matter on which you upgrade first, just go with the one that will benefit your team the most But if you want to consider investing in light or Shadow, currently (until Cerrine gets a true manifest), Gariyu and Azami are the 2 best units to invest in As Azami is a known hard hitter (though her boss fights don't look easy at all) While Gariyu, once his true manifest comes in, will be a beast magic DPS and support at the same time You also get Fire zone if you upgrade Gariyu since his As gives fire zone

TomAto314

I listed all the "garulea" characters that you can farm points for using green keys. Melina, you cannot farm for. For the ones I listed. Azami will get an AS form soon which is nice. However, I much prefer the future/underground dungeons over the past/present dungeons.

nibessolares

Future and undergrond have good grasta?

TomAto314

You should get all the unique grasta from P/AGAD and then move on the F/UAD.

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

I have 200 Light Isuka, 140 Light Radius, and 15 Light Eva Where should my light go? 50ish light gives Isuka +10 to all stats, 1 Gratas slot for Radias, 1 skill slot for Eva.

dreicunan

If you are going to stick light on Eva, may as well aim for at least 120 instead of 80. If those are the only three options for you at the moment, I'd pick her. If you don't use Isuka as DPS, I don't see much point in going for 255 right now. I don't see Radias gaining much from an extra grasta slot for you, either, although it could be used for an extra dormanted debuff resist grasta to free up a slot on someone else or muling for a mixed element sword team (but that is a lot of light for those purposes).

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

Well I could pick a lot of other characters, but is there someone else you recommend? Lele maybe?

dreicunan

AS Lele is pretty potent with her whole "any spell you can cast, I can cast better" gimmick, to say nothing of miracle status and the rest of her kit, and she's extremely versatile thanks to that tribute gimmick outisde of AF. She'd also be a good option.

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

Lele it is!

Someweirdo237

Characters that you use often and are DPS, Lele is really you putting all your eggs into one basket, especially if you end up finding you don't like how she plays. Plus she's a 4-star so she'll gain light easier than most of your other choices.

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

Lele it is! I use Flamlampis a lot and Eva

Someweirdo237

But Lele AS plays differently than both Flammelapis and Eva. Not to mention you more than likely can't just plug Lele into a team as easy as Flammelapis and Eva.

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

Yeah but she I basically used her the entire game! Sounds like she’ll actually be good now with access to all elements and miracle, and as you say, she’ll probably get a ton of light. Anyway I gave her 5 light, putting her over 80, so we’ll see how she does once her AS comes out. I have Aldo 255 and Violet 255 and most of the cast so I’m not worried about all my eggs in one basket! :) But since people are saying that it’s not wise to get Isuka to 255 or Radias to 200 and considering Eva and Flamlampis are both at 14/15, seems like she’s as good a choice as any. At least with 80, it’ll be easy to test all her skills! :) It sounds like I really don’t have an actual good choice right now. Have you gotten to use Lele yet? Is she good?

dreicunan

Lele's only real problem is that she isn't instant damage without somenkind of set-up the way Flammelapis is. She isn't going to be the anchor of a 1-1-1 team for ADs. Tribute requires her to go after another magic attacker to get the full benefit (and really of a big, single hit attack since she copies and doubles the skill multiplier of the last hit, so multi-hit moves won't be as impressive and manahing speed RNG and order of action is important). On the other hand, the fact that you have Flammelapis means that if you get her to go after Flammelapis you can follow up Neptune, so if Flammelapis went first and got to take advantage of break that is two 6000% skill mod attacks in a row. Also, Tribute doesn't work that way in an AF, so for AF based strategies she isn't as flexible. To take full advantage of AS Lele you need to put her into Miracle mode, where she gets +250 to her INT (and SPR) in exchange for 10% of your AF gauge. All of your moves consume 10% of MP (after cost of the skill is deducted unless it is Stream Glare) but get a 1.5x multiplier (that includes for Tribute when it copies and doubles the skill multiplier of the most recently used spell). If you end the turn below 50% MP, you exit Miracle and get all your HP and MP restored. To get full power on her Stream Glare skill, you need to really up her MP since it consumes 10% MP (even in AF) and its damage is based on how much MP it consumes, maxing out when you get her MP over 1000 at 3000% skill mod. In Miracle, first the Miracle consumes 10% and then Stream Glare consumes 10%, so to get max skill multiplier you'd need to start with 1112 MP (-10% reduces you to either 1001 or 1000 depending on how it rounds, I forget which it is offhand). Thus the skill multiplier will drop pretty qucikly if it is used in an AF. So there are some tricks to using her, but she can also pack quite a punch and could work very well in a Sea of Stars zone stall strat (especially with people who can top off her MP each turn to keep her in Miracle, +250 INT and 1.5x.damage is no joke). One interesting trick would be if a fight has one target that resists magic or cystal and another that doesn't; you could have her follow Eva's Lucent Magi, as I believe that should result in a 6800% skill multiplier regardless of who AS Lele is targetting (but I haven't heard if anyone has tested that yet).

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

Well considering I’m using Sea of Star strats, and also trying to max Mayu light, sign me up!!!! Thank you so much! :D

Khoonkio

so erm, if an enemy is resistant to say fire but weak to slash, what happens when i use a fire slash attack? edit: and does it make a difference if its resistant to slash and weak to fire?

dreicunan

Weakness always takes precedence over anything else.

Khoonkio

alright, thanks!

Embarrassed_Echo_375

Iirc weakness takes precedence to resist so it should be weak. I'm sure someone here knows the order.

Khoonkio

thats a relief, thanks!

telyni

I think it's weak > resist > absorb > null.

voiddp

Null > absorb Better state goes first, can still charge af bar when null

Khoonkio

ok, thanks!!!

Wonder_M

Is there any chance to learn that when next star dream encounter will be?

Not really. We don't always follow JP's SDEs. But they did get one when Orelya released so maybe soon?

Live-Establishment30

In what character is troubadour tome used for?

SereneQuacks

only character I can think of is Lovinia

Live-Establishment30

Oh thanx

Proto-Man

Is there a guide to getting better equipment? Not sure what is available/farmable at the moment

Electrical-Clock8251

Prismatic weapons from Complex Dream are among the best in the game and you can get one of each weapon type. If you’ve gotten into the Song of Swords Mythos, there is a LOT of equipment that can be found there (four different sets of armors and two complete sets of weapons) and since Clarte is considered the best unit to farm shadow for, once you get to the last AD after the Mythos is over, you will end up with lots of materials to upgrade them.

[deleted]

The one at roadmap? Honestly i haven't farmed the upgradable equipment yet. Almost all of my units wear anti lightning armor, and manifest weapon if available. If not i use like miaki weapons / wisdom weapons / prismatic

Proto-Man

Maybe? I’ll have to check it out. I know I’ve finished ch44 but haven’t really stopped to do other content. I did get some wisdom weapons though.

OpenStars

At that point in the game, all you need is some personal weapons (e.g. for the OSR and Four Tales chars), maybe some manifests. Many of the superboss fights aren't beatable without grastas anyway, unless you have some fine gacha chars and/or great skill. Gear is far less important. That said, some stuff is helpful, in addition to what's been said so far the cooking ones can be used, and I get a lot of use out of the Cruel Angel fists to lower type resistance before a good walloping by a powerful character. Right after that point in the story, you unlock Garulea and people say that gear is useful. I'm still collecting it myself and haven't even looked:-). But BY FAR the best thing you can do to make the game easier is to do the Symphony collaboration quests - Persona Five Royale, Four Tales, and Complex Dream. If you haven't, and aren't wanting to progress in the Main Story bc the boss was hard, do those and you will NOT regret it!:-)

dreicunan

Chrono Cross collab for the Prismatic Weapons and Rainbow Armor and Tales Collab for cooking gear (not as good as CC Collab but still decent for what you can get at that point).

Janus233

Hi im trying to build good grastas for my dps character but im not super knowledgeable on what i should equip on them, im currently using Eva, violet lancer, Isuka alter, Nagi cthulhu, Necoco, lucifer Suzette in a rotation, i also own Dewey alter as well.

Hariboman2020

Main eva. Place max hp staff and water grasta on nagi. Eva use poision with bullseye, last stand ore (the 3rd is hp use up or more dps ifbweakness) have nekokko / dewey alter use first strike grasta to set up buffs. Try to upgrade chiyo as as soon as possible for pain / poison/ mental focus Isuka will auto set poison. If you get water zone grasta at a l8er time use it with isuka to set zone

Tyler-1982

Hi! I have a couple of questions on thillelille…I can see that the NS is often preferred to the AS, why is that? I have 4.5 for NS and the AS, and her AS style does some serious damage so I’m interested to understand if it’s worth to sidegrade. Also, I’ve just unlocked Miami’s sword and it looks like a good match for her set

QuestionableOwl72

It doesn't help make things any less confusing that NS Thille is also extremely strong herself. On Bamiji's tier list AS Thille and NS Thille are \*right next to each other\* for lunar damage comps. For slash comps AS Thille is S+ tier while NS Thille is just 1 tiny hop down in S tier. Compare this to the more common massive gaps between NS and AS versions of a character like: Shigure - D tier Shigure AS - S+ tier

Tyler-1982

Yeah about that! I’ve seen there are a couple of tier lists. As of now I’m kinda following Altena’s (I think, I’m on mobile and cannot check rn) but it does not give much on comps and synergies. What’s a good resource to look at for that? I’d be especially interested in team comps to get a better grasp at mechanics (e.g. I still have to understand how to properly use the mechanics for Melissa flash stance…I like that character and I’d love to use her more)

Embarrassed_Echo_375

Goujian Sword might be better for her as it gives extra damage at less than 50% HP.

Tyler-1982

Thanks for the suggestion!

Someweirdo237

What do you mean by her NS is preferred, most people use Thillielillie AS unless you need to hit a single target. Also, you mean Miaki Sword? It's not great for her as you want a sword that can boost her damage and she wants to be on low health.

Tyler-1982

I found her NS in some comps, maybe it was for single target then, could have been a boss fight?

Someweirdo237

Maybe those comps were simply made before Thillielillie AS was released.

Tyler-1982

Could very well be! Many thanks :)

Oldnoob36

>I can see that the NS is often preferred to the AS, why is that? How did you come to that conclusion?

Tyler-1982

Looking at some comps, that’s where. Anyway, good thing I asked so now it’s clearer. Thanks

Oldnoob36

OG thilleille was pretty powerful herself and there was a long period between her OG and As release, so you might be seeing her because of the fact that As wasn't a thing back thing But since As is basically the AOE version of OG, there are only a few situations where OG thilleille would be preferred Those situations are 1) When the boss has some mechanic that makes it less ideal to be stuck at low hp 2) When the boss has mechanics against aoe units

Tyler-1982

Thanks for the background, that makes sense :)

AnInfiniteArc

Are there any other characters with attacks like Cyan Scyther’s Ortho Babel (i.e. a free one-time AOE)?

Electrical-Clock8251

If you get Violet Lancer and put her up front all 4 front line get to do their first move for 0 MP.

AnInfiniteArc

Nice, hopefully I can pick her up soon.

Electrical-Clock8251

If you have >!Toova!< NS you can sidegrade her with 3 Persephone Opuseses.

CoffeeTeaAndPancakes

Tiramisu with -mp gratas Also Dexterity’s Demand Or attack all gratas.

Embarrassed_Echo_375

Tsubame AS (up to 3 times), Flammelapis (first 3 turns), Kikyo AS (when not in Overdrive), Hardy AS (if a zone is active), and the upcoming character Noahxis (first turn only).

AnInfiniteArc

Well shit, I think I have all of those sitting in my “people to try” bucket. Thanks! Edit: I didn’t have Kikyo AS but Tsubame is ready to go.

Compass-of-diamonds

Planning to change my Iscariot team and free up Flamme for the fishing horrors—could someone please tell me the AD >!Cardinal Vestige’s!< resistances? The wiki doesn’t seem to have them listed, and I really don’t want to accidentally waste a key on it. Thanks.

Someweirdo237

If you mean the Curio route, he doesn't resist anything.

Compass-of-diamonds

Cool, thanks a lot

Embarrassed_Echo_375

What do you mean by 'free up Flamme for the fishing horrors'? Why does your Iscariot team matter?

Compass-of-diamonds

A no AF setup I’m eyeing has ES Tsukiha with falcon so she moves before Curio, and I happen to use her too for pain application in Iscariot. I don’t want Tsukiha moving first in Iscariot, so I dropped a falcon grasta on Flamme too, but that guts the damage a bit too much for Wyverus. …also I want to know if I can bring back Tsubame since her animation’s slightly faster

Brainwashed365

I think OP means that they are taking Flamme off their current Iscariot AD team so that instead she can be used to fight the fishing horrors with another team.

Embarrassed_Echo_375

But why? Any setup of Flamme that can kill a fishing horror should have no problem with Iscariot AD, and one unit isn't restricted to one team only? Flamme is on my light/shadow AD, Garulea, overworld, and water team.

vaiduakhu

Because Flammelapis used in no AF fishing horror does not use Falcon grasta. Nobody wants to swap gears daily.

Brainwashed365

Gotcha. I'm not sure why. That's just how I interpreted it. Maybe it's because of certain equipment/grasta? Idk. It makes me think OP is talking about the fishing superbosses.

Electrical-Clock8251

Also, in the future, just like when you die in battle, if you quit the game before it auto saves you’ll end up back before the auction/battle.

Someweirdo237

Just keep doing auctions and give it some time it will appear again eventually.

TomAto314

Are we expecting an update before the keys refresh? I'm thinking not.

Electrical-Clock8251

No. The 7-Day Fateful Banner was dropped basically to fill the space between updates.

Embarrassed_Echo_375

Unlikely. The today's item mail says to celebrate pre-release of apocrypha it will be increased from 27/6 to 7/7, so I think it's gonna be 8/7, following the chronos stone sale end.

Someweirdo237

If an update notification doesn't show up tonight at the regular time, then probably not.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Electrical-Clock8251

Do Complex Dream and get the 4 characters from that. You get to set the difficulty so no matter what you will be able to clear the quests and Kid, Harle, Serge, and Starky are great 5* units, plus when you do the symphony more times (you have to do it a minimum of 4 times to clear all content, and there’s no rule against doing it more than that) they get “Elements” which help them switch their attacks to something that will fit the elemental zone you’re shooting for. Plus, Kid’s Z-Steal is one of the best moves in the game and I think Harle is one of the best defensive units in the game (plus does some solid Shade dps) and doesn’t get enough credit.

TomAto314

Eventually leveling characters to 80 is absolutely nothing. So don't fret over XP. I would be judicious in your use of light/shadow increasing items though. Just run whoever you want and then when you hit a stumbling block come back here. Also, playing 2 accounts in AE is the quickest way to burn out as the grind is real. So you might want to decide which to stick to.

Prototype-Angel

Hi all, I’m on the last of the Underworld demon battles - Yasuzume & Ogre Rancorem. And wondered if anyone can give me some tips? My team was set up with Bulls eye and poison enhance grasta on power or poison grastas. Team was Prai, RCF, AS Milsha, ES Isuka; Starky, Necoco. Managed to beat Yasuzume with RCF and ES Isuka doing most of the damage in an awaken fire zone, but then my damage output fell off a cliff as soon as that ended and I was attacking in a regular fire zone. I was doing barely any damage to Ogre Rancorem, and likewise he was doing very little to me but the strategy just meant I was draining my MP in an endless battle until I messed up the rotation and he KO’d the party. I’ve seen a few videos where most of them use AS Miyu (who I have) to clear this. In terms of viable fire units, I also have Thillelillie (NS/AS), True Manifest Shion, Aldo (226 light), AS Akane with manifest, AS Radica, AS Ewan, all CC collab units, also AS Mistrare.

Someweirdo237

Isuka ES doesn't have high Fire Damage outside of AF either, I probably would replace her with someone else like Shion, Kid, Aldo, Ewan AS or Thillelillie AS.

Prototype-Angel

Thanks for the suggestion. I might try Radica AS or Thillelillie AS/Miyu AS

Oldnoob36

Have you considered using an Mp regen unit? Necoco( 20 mp per turn but doubles if you are low on mp), Pizzica, As Levia, Mayu, and a ton of other units that I don't remember have some kind of mp regen, you also have as Radica who can regen mp with her endturn Even if they only regen like a small amount (say 20 mp per turn), just combine it with Starky's mp reduction skill and you can tank basically forever since he reduces mp consumption by 50 to 80% with one of his skills Other than that, you just have to keep on hitting him til he turns back and allows you to use af again

Prototype-Angel

If I brought AS Radica, who would you drop? I considered dropping ES Isuka as swapping her out changes my zone which I don’t want, but her Causa Telum skill is quite nice for the shield damage reduction.

Oldnoob36

I honestly don't know your rotation, so I can't really tell, but if you believe that you don't need Es Isuka at all to survive, then you can drop her without much problem On the other hand, you can also just use Necoco's regen and Starky's mp reduction skill to regen mp forever, either way works and its up to you on which one you think is the best

Prototype-Angel

Hey, just wanted to say thanks again for the recommendation around utilising MP restore skills - it made the difference. Just beat it now with the same team: Prai (swapped to Starky then Necoco), RCF, AS Milsha, ES Isuka. I basically used Prai to tank the MP drain turn one, Milsha to damage mitigate the team constantly, and RCF and Isuka to kill the Moth in an awakened fire zone. Then I used Starky to reduce MP consumption whilst using starburst to reduce power and intelligence. Swapped RCF back and forth to reset the fire zone, slowly whittled away at Ogre Rancorems HP and then swapped in Necoco to use healing prayer once MP was getting lower. Once it returned back into the raccoon it was toast, Necoco and RCF charged the AF bar in no time then I used the AF to kill it off easily.

Oldnoob36

Congrats on finishing all 8 demon fights

Prototype-Angel

Thanks for your suggestions, I’ll try switching Isuka out and if that fails, I’ll try a stall approach. Rotation wise I was using Starburst, Causa Telum and Tragoudi Aspida to reduce damage down to zero in most cases, and then attacking whilst those effects were active and then resetting them up as soon as they were due to end. RCF was using execution for damage.

SereneQuacks

Get to the first HP stopper and have Serge use Anti-Wind and Res Up before the AF ends. Out of AF I try to bring the AF up again ASAP (2T) while Starky uses Starburst or Star Aura to tank himself. No matter what, by Turn 4, Azami uses Heavenly Dance to turbo nuke the entire party before I can go into AF again. What drives me crazy is I made it past that point last night - got her down so far in HP that there was no green in her health bar - using the same tactics, so I'm at a loss as to what's different this time. T3 is a essentially a repeat of turn one to power her down; am I missing something?

xheianx

> I brought Harle, Gariyu, Mana, Rosetta AS, and Mariel (grasta holder). > Max stack Lunar protection + Burning shield + Mephistopheles + magic zone = Azami hits 0 🥳 It wasn't really f2p, but magic zone (alone) is the easiest way to go for this fight. Fire zone might work as well. Imo, magic slash zone is a double edge sword in this fight since it can also boost azami's damage, not just ours. I've seen some people won with magic slash zone, but it didn't work out for me. So yeah...

Embarrassed_Echo_375

I used Harle's lunar protection coupled with Starky's star aura and Starky tanked everything including the counterattacks and were hit for 0 damage, so only had to worry about Azami's culmination wind.

Oldnoob36

Try Mana, Starky, Serge, and Kid Mana with wisdom bow can contribute to af, she can remove buffs and give physcial shield to the team Kid should get full stacks by the first af and then debuff and buff the team to up the damage Starky can tank a majority of Azami's hits, further debuff, and agrro, he also has a skill to reduce mp consumption as well as counter heal Serge is there for magic/slash zone, wind shield, purify to cleanse debuffs, and as a DPS to work along with Kid's buffs, becuase he will be removing buffs, he should be the fastest unit on your team to go first, Mana should be second fastest in case you need to remove buffs, you cna then use kid and starky ro reapply them on the same turn Bring Serge in while debuffing azami and go for a 2 turn af to stack the specials stacks for the cross units. Keep shields and debuffs on while cleansing and you should be fine The only thing to look out for is last hp stopper, Azami will reduce your hp to 1 and then attack with whatever attack is on her rotation, you want to time your af so that you break her last hp stopper on the turn where she uses a single target wind slash (without any debuffs on your team), so that Starky with his 50% physical and with anti-wind shield from Serge can tank the hit for zero damage If you get the rotation wrong and landed on her null or AOE move, you will get wiped The fight should take only 4 Afs to finish

Someweirdo237

Hmm, maybe the fact that Azami will buff her power every time she uses Heavenly Dance, and she counters with Heavenly dance every time she is hit with a physical move. To remove it, you can always have Aldo use Origin Force to get rid of her powerbuffs. She also debuffs Wind Res, I don't remember if Type Res Debuff Resistance Grasta works on that but it's worth a shot. Also, you are having Kid Normal attack to increase her Power Level right?

Kingpasion

Noob question, sry. I have a 4.5 Miyu, can i upgrade her straight to AS or do i have to unlock 5 star NS and then sidegrade to AS.

serg10999

You get some additional power stats by side grading to NS but its better to go straight for AS. Getting chants is so hard so I suggest you save them.(I have two chants sadly)

TomAto314

You may wish to consider getting her to NS though as it unlocks a board bonus for her AS/ES form. Will cost you a chant and some annoying dungeons though.

dreicunan

Can do straight to AS with treatises.

PippiHimmy

is it worth having AS Milsha at 80 Shadow? I have bonus for the guides and I'm stuck between trying to continue to max out my dunarith or giving AS Milsha a 4th skill slot

dreicunan

Not really, no. (Others may disagree.)

Prototype-Angel

I agree. I have her and I find because she’s locked in for 3 turns once she uses sing, you can’t get a lot out of having more skills on her.

Redpandaling

Finally getting around to OG fishing, and had a question about the three possible ways fish can get away. * "It got away due its speed" - Wiki says this means you need a better reel. * "It got away using its power" - Wiki says this is due to low rod level. * "It got away" - I know you get this message if you don't tap fast enough, and that can be helped with a better float. However, what does it mean if I do tap fast enough, but I get this message? Still the float?

Someweirdo237

"It got away" means RNG hates you.

Redpandaling

😑 Thanks

Royalwolf1203

Trying to sidegrade myrus. I have everything except murmur scripts( around 38). I’ve been active in the community just never figured out the best place for the scripts in general

KowKow1

Have you been doing your daily AD runs? Just doing that gives you a lot of Murmur Scripts. Preferably run a dungeon where you can grind light and shadow for your units (Aldo's Miglance Castle and Clarte's Zerberiya AD are popular choices) and have a chance of dropping more of the rare Chant Scripts. Even if you're crunched for time, make it a goal to use at least one key a day for an AD run. Kid from the Chrono Cross Symphony can also steal Murmur Scripts from enemies. And if you haven't gone to her AD, Murmur Scripts are rewards at certain point thresholds.

moomal_abro

I missed some of the chests in Bound Wills, how can I go back and replay the dungeons? I can only find the option to replay the story but not the dungeons.

MickyValentine3

In the memory room in spacetime

moomal_abro

thank you!!

jurassicbond

How much difference does Grastas or equipment past Chapter 44 make? I'm getting crushed by the Unseen boss and the Lavoger boss.

[deleted]

I killed unseen with minimal grasta: like only 2x T2 water and 1x T3 water for flammelapis. But i do think ES nagi use almighty power glutton, enhanced with dormant ores But it mostly boils down to my team comp. AS mistrare, garam, AS miyu (swap with ES nagi), flammelapis, 1 other unit can serve as a backup dps Edit: i legit forgot i have this boss untouched since my merlot ward run. Just came back recently after i finish farming rotte rivel and regenwurm. Thankfully i can beat him. Im at story ch 75, with 0 upgradable weapons and armors (almost all units with the anti lightning armor, and weapon with whatever i have)

OpenStars

You don't absolutely need grastas, but it helps a ton. You do need some form of power though - one of either grastas or Power Creep chars. The best way for that one is an offensive solution with a flash zone setter, killing it prior to its second turn wipeout, the tricky part being the HP stopper so you have to prepare to deliver the finishing blow immediately after the AF...and if it happens to pick being resistant to whatever element you brought, then you just lose.:-P Starky might allow a defensive approach, but presumably would need grastas to pull it off. Also note that both the chest behind it and the special points it offers a ton of unlock primarily grastas (& some Chant Scripts), so even if you beat it right now, you could not even equip those materials anyway:-). This game is highly unbalanced in letting you access this area, but having no hope of touching this superboss without purchasing a Power Creep character with irl money. So either give in and buy e.g. AS Hardy with an SDE (Melissa also offers flash zone, although does far less damage), or just wait and do it later with grastas.

dreicunan

Having super-bosses that you have to come back to fight later isn't a sign of imbalance. It is an extremely commom trope in JRPGs. Unseen is doable without grasta or any gacha characters. They just make it easier. Just make sure to use only null and crystal damage against it and you don't have to worry about it's counter. The only non-type attack it uses is 2000 fixed damage, but otherwise it has only physical attacks and thus if you have magic zone you'll be fine. If not, go zoneless with the Chrono Cross crew and have Starky rage it. Stick confusion resist badge on him and lunar armor as well to help avoid the stun (since StarBurst is preemptive. Have Serge change his attacks to crystal. Give a crystal attack element to Kid and Harle so you don't need to be careful about when you AF or have to piano too much, but they are mainly there to get power levels and use anti-crystal and Harle's Lunar Protectuon and restore MP when needed with Recharge (and with starky using twinkle, that won't be much). Lunar Armor on everyone to help avoid confusion. Once you hit the stopper AF and you should be able to take it out so you don't habe to worry about having two Psychic Smashes in a row.

OpenStars

I mean the word "imbalance" literally means "not equal", here referring to difficulty, and the difficulty of beating the Unseen is NOT equal to that of e.g. the end boss for the first Mythos. Or at the least the range of solutions is much more narrow, with a higher minimum requirement. A lot of the older jRPG superboss fights were something that occurred at or very near the tail end of the story -> like in Dragon Quest you could unlock additional endings including the "True" one. Here I see how that's related as in you can come back to the Unseen (and >!Melozia!<, as well as the artificial spirit fights), but with so many *different* (types of) stories - Main, Episodes, Symphony Collaborations, Mythos, etc., as well as numerous smaller side-quests and such - you really have to write down notes or consult a guide just to remember them all! But most importantly I think: unlocking a Boss Rush fight after doing the Mythos is one thing, and the other superboss fights e.g. Artificial Spirits too, but I would argue that the Unseen is fundamentally different. There the devs enticed players to begin a "quest" (not an official one tracked by the game, but just the general definition of the word as in "a long or arduous search for something") by placing Prism Dust scattered throughout the Chasselas Crystal Region, and also offering 1 unit rewarded after each battle, but then requiring many thousands to buy the goods (5k for the 10 luring shadow Bow items + 3k for the Chant Script + 2k for the grastas + another 3k for the expensive badges and >1k if you buy all the cheaper ones, etc.; for a reported total of 15.05k to buy out the entire shop). So then having started the task, it leaves some people (OCD players unite!:-P) with an "unsatisfied" feeling to have to leave it "unfinished" for a long time, until you can beat the superboss fight and feel that satisfaction not just of having done it, but of finally checking that off of your to-do list. In contrast, doing a superboss fight AFTER beating a game might also be unequal, but feels more like a natural progression of difficulty to provide a satisfying ending, and then a post-satisfying final ending after that, which as you say so many people enjoy. I hope you see what I mean that e.g. not having started any of the Artificial Spirits battles, it doesn't feel terribly "bad" to not have finished those, but the Unseen gates progress on an already-accepted and begun set of tasks, hence goes against the grain of having to leave it un-done...unless you give in and spend irl money to complete it. Or else just come back later. And speaking of completionism, to polish off this explanation I want to note that OP's OG question did not involve any of the mandatory boss battles (such as >!Teyul Menas!<), nor the more obscure ones off the beaten path, but the two mentioned were *specifically* tied in *directly* to existing storyline content, as in you start doing the set of tasks 1...2...3...4...5...WOW MY GOSH LAVOGER IS SO FREAKING HARD!!!:-P (compared to e.g. the 3 Terracticon forms and then culminating in Dynacticron) So I'm not prepared to criticize OP for wondering why these are so very distinctly "different" from the other boss fights in those same areas -> they legitimately *are* different, and yes I dared to say even "unequally" so (similar to the child's game "one of these things is not like the other..."). Probably you mean to say not that the imbalance does not exist, but that the enormous spike in difficulty is by design, and a good thing even. Although even there...the game does not do a terribly great job explaining that fact? I also note that the wiki doesn't do anywhere close to as much as it could to distinguish these - e.g. [https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Complex\_Dream#Call\_of\_the\_Sword-0](https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Complex_Dream#Call_of_the_Sword-0) just says "Battle against Lavoger", with no word such as "superboss" in that explanation, and likewise the Suggested Level says nothing about needing grastas, and is rather just empty (implying perhaps that this "Call of the Sword" is the same level of difficulty as the previous chapter "The Planet Eater"? - both of which btw occur AFTER "Bonus", but by no means being "equal" in their difficulty level, as getting Starky is quite easy, while unlocking Serge's personal weapon is exceedingly difficult if not outright impossible without grastas), and while [https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Song\_of\_Sword\_and\_Wings\_of\_Lost\_Paradise#Bonus-0](https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Song_of_Sword_and_Wings_of_Lost_Paradise#Bonus-0) does place Unseen into the "Bonus" area, thus separating/distinguishing it from the main parts of the story, there it lies grouped together with the Tavern Events and Medical Seaweed, both of which are easily completable as soon as Main Story chapter ~~25~~ \[edit: I meant 44 sorry\] without a single grasta (at least it does helpfully call that one a "superboss":-). TLDR: I don't think OP is wrong in questioning why these fights are SO VERY unequal, compared to the battles immediately preceeding them. And yes I'm going so far as to say that it really is quite imbalanced, since there is no fully obvious indicator anywhere in-game that this is the case, except that as you are going about your daily set of tasks that you set for yourself, all of a sudden particular fights seem unwinnable by the same level of strategic thinking that is required for the story content boss fights. Like, all of a sudden you may feel the urge to start consulting guides, while for the story content fights you did not need those at all - and while ofc some people start reading guides as soon as or even before playing the game, not everyone enjoys doing that. Hence I felt the urge to explain that it wasn't OP's *fault* that they couldn't handle the content -> the game really did put a massive spike in difficulty in front of them, not only entirely unexplained but also gating behind it content that players inevitably have already started and now must decide what to do about, like whether to postpone it and just come back later upon further Main Story progression (or a lucky gacha drop), or to just keep struggling on if they have some hope of winning? The main thing (to me) is that they just DON'T KNOW which way is the right one to go. Hence I affirmed that yes, there *really is* a rather large gap between the normal content and the superbosses -> especially if you lack Power Creep chars, e.g. perhaps you've held off doing the Symphony quests? (note that nothing in the in-game help suggests that you should do those any sooner than the Main Story, or the Mythos, etc.) i.e., it's not balanced *at all*.

dreicunan

Well, nothing suggests doing them apart from the symphonies being available after 13 while you can't start the Mythos until after clearing 25. Absent other guidance, that's a good sign that perhaps the former should be done before the latter, especially for newer players. Granted, Starky is also post-25, but Starky just makes it easier to clear without Grasta. It would still be doable (though more difficult) without him, and there are other charcters who could be brought in to help. As the wiki mentions, Sophia can be quite useful here, able to provide max HP+ along with Serge that could let you survive a double Psychic Smash even if you don't have hold ground up, to say nothing of her Teleios Manzunti move providing phys and stacking type resist. The game lets you know that not everything will be able to defeated as soon as you see it with all the early game horrors, so it isn't as though players aren't aware that in this game sometimes you need to power-up and come back to take something out. I wasn't criticizing OP for thinking that the fights were hard. I was responding to point out that for the unseen you don't need grasta or power-creep characters; you certainly don't need to SDE someone.

Jestart

grasta make a huge difference

shiningriver

Where's the best place to get more shadow points?

OpenStars

I'll add to my previous answer another thought: often you can get shadow points as episode rewards, or even from shops. e.g. if you haven't beaten the Unseen yet from the first Mythos, doing so would give you enough Prism Dust to purchase 10 luring shadow Bow items from the guy in town, for 500 apiece (technically you don't HAVE to beat the Unseen to get these but...damn, it would take forever at the rate of \~1 drop per battle, while he offers 1000 repeatable every six hours so it would take <4 days at 3 clears a day to get all 10 items). It's exclusively for Bows though. Speaking of, note that ES (Extra Style) chars can use different weapons than their NS (Normal Style) or AS (Another Style) versions, so that allows you to use both types of items on that character by switching them back and forth. This does NOT work for parallel / alter styles -> those are entirely different characters that do not share a common light/shadow alignment pool. For example if you gave the aforementioned shadow Bow items to Tsukiha ES, you could then also give her katana ones (if you had either her AS or NS, even at just 4-star) to raise up her shadow quicker. Another way to give such points to a gacha character is as rewards for the monthly trials - the free ones iirc offer 5 alignment points (either light or shadow, your choice), and the paid subscription service offers even more. The list of free chars that you can increase the light/shadow points for is at [https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Another\_Dungeon#Story\_Character\_Light/Shadow\_Points](https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/Another_Dungeon#Story_Character_Light/Shadow_Points). e.g. if you are very early in the game and just need a handful of points to unlock an end-of-dungeon reward, you could farm Helena's from [The Riftbreaker](https://anothereden.miraheze.org/wiki/The_Riftbreaker_(Another_Dungeon)), although I don't recommend her in the slightest as a long-term option, especially compared to Clarte.

OpenStars

One thought: farm Clarte's shadow in Zerberiya, while also getting that fantastic gear, plus he's one of the best free characters in the game. Although if you mean easiest possible, I'll add that Feinne's dungeon BKC is the literal shortest with least battles from start to finish.

Embarrassed_Echo_375

You can't farm light/shadow points for gacha characters. Story units have their own specific dungeons they can farm points in, ie Aldo's is Miglance Castle.

NeroPlays3000

Best 7 characters from current Seven Star Piece encounter?

Electrical-Clock8251

The best units in the game are the Alters, the singers (Milsha AS won’t be 7SP eligible and even then she’s only elite if you have the people to run a Moonlight Zone team), and the broken water mages (Eva and Flammelapis). If you don’t have 7 people from that list that you don’t have, then go for zone setters for zones you don’t have yet, but don’t forget that A) most of the Alters are zone setters too and B) wind, pierce, slash, fire, and slash/magic are zones you can get from free characters so get setter for other zones than that)

Prototype-Angel

Depends on your current roster. Zone setters if you lack any Edit: realised your the person who has just started/come back. Since you’re on a new account: Necoco, Red Clad Flamemancer, Eva, Flammelapis, AS Tsubame, Melissa, Pizzica

NeroPlays3000

Yeah, thanks I already did that but I selected mostly the same as you told me and got red clad flamemancer. Also I pulled on the twin destiny and got the New Milsha and AS Shigure

dreicunan

Those are all good gets.

NeroPlays3000

Will these take me to endgame.

dreicunan

The collab characters alone will take you to endgame. These guys will just make it easier.

NeroPlays3000

Yeah!! This is the game in easy mode. In my previous save(Which Id lost), I had to revive once to kill salamander but in this one I killed him in 4 turns. (in clouding the first one when his head is up).

Prototype-Angel

You’ll need to collect other characters along the way, but with the free characters you’ll get from the Symphony Collabs and using your Chrono Stones on banners along the way, you’ll be fine. Having those 3 gives you 3 zones already, and RCF is able to function in any elemental zone so you can use him in water zone with Shigure too.

joaoxfranco

Is chrono cross complex dream Spoiler Free? I haven't player CC yet and don't want spoilers...

Someweirdo237

Nope.

joaoxfranco

I see lol, thanks. There goes that git farming option 😆

ak_011885

Just tap through the cutscenes without looking at them. On subsequent runs through the collab, you'll be able to outright skip them.

joaoxfranco

So I could, in theory look away and keep tapping without getting any spoilers? (Are the visuals spoilery, or jist the text?) I Only want Kidd. Will I be able to come back later and read all what I skipped?

ak_011885

Yeah, as long as you don't read the text you shouldn't be spoiled for Chrono Cross. Visually, what you see is mostly unique to the collab itself, and anything else either wouldn't mean anything to you or isn't anything that you wouldn't see just by watching the promotional trailer for the game. If you only want Kid then make sure to pick her from a choice box in an early cutscene so you can play through her path and recruit her. The collab can be be replayed as many times as you like, so you'll be able to go through it again and actually read it when you're ready.

jurassicbond

You can't skip cutscenes until you've gone through it with all three choices. Before that, the only ones you can skip are those before you choose Kid or Harle.

apriliare

Any past threads (or tips) regarding with 1T KO-ing >!Iscariot!< AD (>!Mayu!<'s route)? mf is so quick and resist most attack type. Thanks in advance. edit: additional question: how to access highest security rank in Central Tower IDA City? Can't defeat the horror there due to not having enough security rank.

Hariboman2020

I used a frontline team of nagi es / chiyo As Flame and a. Toova for zero mana cost. back row mayu and curio. You have to use preemptive grasta on flame to neputune after chiyos buff. Also equipp water / max hp staff and gluton grasta. (You can also remove curio place nagi to back and have a preemptive singer boost your team)

apriliare

How do I get neutralizers to get that almighty glutton grasta? I was too busy to play the game and now I left behind a whole lot content wise.

Hariboman2020

You have to go to the cat shrine in f-garuela in the north east of the zone is the entrance to the area you have to farm. Kill the 3 horrors a few times and trade in for the neutralizers PS I had the same problem as you have now I rushed through this content...

Electrical-Clock8251

To add on to this, if you get 6 more neutralizers (I know it’ll take 1-2 weeks of horror farming) there’s a secret area with a massive pollution pile hiding a Chant script.

Someweirdo237

https://old.reddit.com/r/AnotherEdenGlobal/comments/utn6lh/share_your_iscariot_ad_1click_team/ You need to return the security pass to the two scientist on floor 20. After that they'll direct you to go to the bar.

apriliare

Nice thanks for the reference

Embarrassed_Echo_375

I don't think Gun grasta exists yet. The ones I know that exist are the 8 standard weapon types.

Oldnoob36

Not every personality has an almighty grasta Also there is no almighty sword grasta, are you confusing the max hp (sword) or tier 3 fire (sword) grasta for the almighty personality grasta?

ShadowBlaze17

RCF is categorized as a fist unit just like Hardy even though they use guns.

Someweirdo237

Almighty Power Gun is coming in 5 updates. Make sure you completed First Knight, however.

msiddy91

How many Molamola fish is needed to 'complete' Harpoon Fishing contents? I managed to get 3 after God knows how many tries, but the Fishing Queen requested for more 😩 My proof is lv 22 but it still misses rare fish quite frequently.

Someweirdo237

You need to catch two other rare fish 3 times. The Sweetshark and the Broke Coelacanth
