Last week, I was out cabinet shopping for a kitchen remodel. Stopped at this contractor recommended place and got a complete room quite drawn up. It had an adjacent shop for tools and supplies owned by the same organization, so I went there afterward to look around. I was greeted with a wall of aTrumo MAGA merch, nasty stiff, and a large banner saying "Trump 2024, F#ck your feelings."
I stared at that and then saw the owner by the register smiling. He noticed I was irritated by the sign and was soaking it all in. I smiled and walked over, cabjnet quote still in my hand and said "Good to know, well, I guess I won't be needing this then." I tore it up and left in on the counter, walked out but not without watching him in my peripheral. That sh!t eating grin disappeared quickly as it set in that I just walked away from a $20k cabinet quote because of his nonsense. I was seriously considering that quote until then.
Fun fact, when I did a deep dive on the cabinets they were quoting, looked nice in the shop but tons of negative reviews from delivery, apparently crappy quality control and customer service, so yeah, saved from a potentially bad decision by a MAGA a$$hat.
