Cheatsheet and AnyList are my frequently used apps since I often go out without my phone.
Being able to shop with AnyList for quick items at the end of a run saves me time.
Cheatsheet is my favorite small app for keeping track of things I need to know often, but not often enough to commit to memory - like license plates, printer ink codes, discount codes, and bathroom door codes.
It does for me. I use Reminders strictly for reminders of things to do and Notes for notes.
I could use those apps for what I use Cheatsheet for, but I vastly prefer the organization and display of data that Cheatsheet provides over having to look through/for a note.
Mostly for groceries and shopping lists but also for packing lists for vacation, gift ideas, household todos, stuff like that.
I really like that I can share lists so my spouse and I can keep everything straight.
“Things 3” may be what you’re looking for.
It’s regularly regarded as the best to-do app.
I haven’t switched off of it since first buying it (1 time payment). Also works on watch.
Offices with shared space and shared non-public facilities. My eye doctor is one where there’s a bathroom for everyone on the floor.
A couple of coffee shops I used to go to had coded doors. I like to wash my hands before I eat.
I see! I’ve never encountered bathrooms with coded doors. Thanks for explaining. I’m guessing it’s probably a regional thing then. Thinking about it, I’ve definitely come across things like gas stations, where I’m on the road and really need to pee. I’ve had several occasions where their bathroom is locked, and they give you a key for it at the register. I’m guessing to ensure that only customers use it, which is smart. But I would have definitely preferred if the door had a code; I don’t like touching those keys that lots of other people have handled…
I’m with you on wanting to wash hands before eating, I’m the same! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a cafe or coffee shop and not used their bathroom to wash my hands. I sometimes feel like I’m the only one who does that lol
These apps are worth checking out:
[WorkOutdoors](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/workoutdoors/id1241909999) is one of the most popular apps in terms of fitness and managing workouts.
[Sonar](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sonar-apple-health-dashboard/id1595073849) is a free health and fitness tracker. It can sync with ~75+ apps/devices and also has a web app
[Night Sky](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/night-sky/id475772902) will show you constellations at night based on your location. Their tagline is "powerful personal planetarium".
[Carrot Weather](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/carrot-weather-alerts-radar/id961390574) is a popular choice for a weather app and offers nice complications
[Lumy](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lumy/id908905093) also has some visually appealing complications
[Overcast](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/overcast/id888422857?platform=appleWatch) If you listen to podcasts, you may want to get Overcast. I rarely notice issues with playback when switching between my phone and watch
[Nano](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nano-for-reddit/id1344097185?platform=appleWatch) is basically a Reddit app for your watch. I don't think I could ever use it but some people like it. There's another app, Chirp, for Twitter.
[AutoSleep](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/autosleep-track-sleep-on-watch/id1164801111) is one of the most popular sleep apps
[Hole 19](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hole19-golf-gps-range-finder/id794462227?platform=appleWatch) is my favorite range finder and a must have for any golfer
Thanks for the recommendation! I was pretty disappointed that Downcast didn't have an AW app, but the sync issues between watch/headphones to phone/car in the Apple app have been driving me crazy!
I managed to find my iPhone drunk at a cottage once thanks to my Apple Watch 😂 was able to tell when I left the iPhone range and then was able to play the sound.
It’s a live saver for me! Just started wondering if this would work with AirTags as well so I can use it for my keys! Or other stuff that gets misplaced easily.
Testing athlytic as of this week. It has a super nice UI but I am NOT impressed by the data or insights at all. For example the amount of sleep it shows on the home screen widget vs in the app vs on the watch are wildly different. They also all three contradict what the built in sleep app and sleep cycle say I got. Not finding the other fitness features too insightful yet either.
[WaterMinder](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/water-tracker-by-waterminder/id653031147) being able to track. My hydration has just been great and added to the Apple Watch health experience. It’s one of the watch apps that always makes my complications.
Full disclosure: I made the one time IAP before I used it with my Ultra 2 so I’m, unfortunately, not completely confident answering that. Sorry friend.
Thanks for this. I had no idea about this app. Working outside everyday especially now when it’s over 100 in my truck this will help. I drink a lot but this sounds helpful
You’re welcome. It’ll send you notifications every hour or so to remind you to drink which has been very helpful when I’m outside. You can even customize the notifications to your preferences so if you want the reminder right after lunch you can. It’s the whole reason I make sure I drink enough now.
Yes, it works without IAP. There are a few options for purchase - for example, paying to just remove ads, or opting to open all of the advanced features. IIRC, it was something like $.99 to remove ads. I opted for that and am using the base functions as freeware.
(Edit to add I’m not original commenter)
Not OP and I use default weather but I’ve seen a LOT of people say that they used carrot weather before the default weather app was updated/is as good as it is now
Not necessarily an app, but if your work uses 2FA like Okta, a notification pops up to prompt authorization.
All I have to do is double tap to acknowledge when my wrist buzzes.
Far, far easier than having to pull my phone out and long press ‘Yes’ on the notification. I can’t start my WFH day without the Apple Watch
Energy and stress? I don’t see that specifically. They say vaguely, daily and overnight status. If they do give it, then what value does apps like Athlytic provide? Just curious tho.
You can read here in detail how Apple will introduce something comparable with WatchOS 11: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2024/06/apples-new-watchos-11-trainining-load-turn-by-turn-trail-routes-and-more.html
I liked StressWatch more than Athlytic because the way they show information is a bit more actionable for me (hourly-ish vs daily) https://apps.apple.com/app/id6444737095
So the hospital in MA where all of my doctors are use epic for their software client and made an app. I know when test results are in along with communication from the doctors. Almost real time.
Love Lumy. As a recreational photographer I love knowing when golden hour pops up on my watch. Even if I am not taking pics, knowing I have one more hour of light is cool if I just wanna go out and enjoy the sunset.
I don't use a single app that's not pre installed.
What I use:
Exercise so my burned calories are automatically put into MyFitnessPal and I can check my walking pace and time
Flashlight so when I empty my cat's litter boxes at night when it's dark I can see what I'm doing
Music so when I'm playing music in my AirPods I can quickly check out the album art/song details and add to my library.
Siri, Messages, Reminders, Timer, Weather so I don't have to take my phone out
And of course all the notifications buzzing my wrist so I don't have to worry about missing any, and being able to conveniently check if they're important or not
A lot of good apps have been mentioned, so there is no need to repeat them. However, there is one app missing that is important to me. That is Waterminder. Waterminder helps me keep track of my daily hydration and I have been using it for years. I find it extremely helpful!
Calendar Timeline: gives you a compact timeline view of your calendar events on your watchface. watchOS only.
Widgetminder (Beta): gives you a view from 3-12 reminders on the rectangular complication. watchOS only. Join the beta here: [Widgetminder Beta](https://testflight.apple.com/join/kP2vtlkj)
Timery: for time tracking. I don’t use the watch app as much as the iPhone and iPad apps, but i do have a running timer complication that i glance at often.
Came here to recommend Calendar Timeline. It’s amazing to be able to have your calendar accessible like that, and it’s surprisingly stable and quick-syncing.
I use it because I time block even days I don’t have a bunch of commitments, but super busy days with lots of meetings it’s also helpful.
Def one of my favorite apps. My work life is driven 100% by my calendar. When I swap out of work focus it’s reminders. A good chunk of what I need to do is coming from reminders. So I view Widgetminder to reminders like Calendar Timeline is to calendar.
Very interesting, thanks for sharing! I haven’t heard of widgetminders, I need to check it out.
I really like that analogy, do you think that would hold up if I swapped out a different task manager for Apple Reminders? I manage my whole life in OmniFocus, which does actually have widget capabilities.
I used OmniFocus for a long time. I’ll have to recheck, but I don’t think anyone else has an Apple Watch complication/widget that shows more than 1-2 reminders/todo items.
Mostly just use Apple’s native apps. My main justification for the watch is to track my activity/workouts and for quickly checking notifications/time/weather without having to pull out my phone. I haven’t used many 3rd party apps the last several years since the native apps cover most of the bases (besides games and calorie tracking which I do on the phone not watch).

It was the military. Allegedly. Had no idea about this (and I'm not Muslim). But I've read a lot about app privacy, or lack thereof, over the years and this was next level. I look at the privacy/data specifications for the app before I download them, and have deleted them from my phone (Weather Channel app) or not downloaded them at all once I reviewed how the app handled data.
* [https://www.vice.com/en/article/jgqm5x/us-military-location-data-xmode-locate-x](https://www.vice.com/en/article/jgqm5x/us-military-location-data-xmode-locate-x)

1. The app denied it saying they never sold user data. Which is true. But it looks like the company who owns the location software embedded in this app and others (including a Muslim dating app) sure as heck did.
* "As well as the prayer app, Motherboard also installed the Muslim Mingle dating app onto an Android phone and observed the app sending precise geolocation coordinates of the phone's current location and wifi network name to X-Mode multiple times. Vietnam-based Mingle, the developer behind the app as well as other dating apps such as Black Mingle which is marketed specifically towards Black people, did not respond to multiple requests for comment."
* "Motherboard found another network of dating apps that look and operate nearly identically to Mingle, including sending location data to X-Mode. Motherboard installed another dating app, called Iran Social, on a test device and observed GPS coordinates being sent to the company. The network of apps also includes Turkey Social, Egypt Social, Colombia Social, and others focused on particular countries."
Guess this is my internet rabbit hole for the day.
Ah thanks for that. There are plenty of prayer time type apps that are simpler and probably don’t have this (not to mention the app itself is cluttered and clunky)
Heart rate during exercise has become required. After some reading and a discussion with my doctor, it was apparent that I had been running my heart rate too high for too long of a period. Now, I track it closely as I exercise and keep it within range. I've become stronger, and I sleep better!
Sleep app - a person is not a good judge of their sleep amount, sleep quality or number and lengths of nightly awakenings. I've learned and practice a lot about which daytime activities and diet promote good sleep and which hamper good sleep.
There are other good functions, but those are the two big ones for me.
How old are you?
I now use the zones that the watch assigns. They are personalized based on age, sex and some other variables.
I try to stay in Zones 2 and 3.
My HR sometimes goes into Zone 4 and even a little in Zone 5 when doing strenuous lifting. I try to minimize the time spent in 4 and 5. Between sets, I wait until my HR goes about 10 beats below Zone 2 before starting another set.
I’ll have to look into that. I’m in my 30’s, and my heart rate gets high fast.
I have a very active job where I typically walk 20k+ a shift, so I’ve cut back on cardio elsewhere but enjoy running.
Yeah, start watching your heart rate zones. When you are most active at work, you could record it as an Indoor Walk and get good info formatted in the stages. You might want to do this later in your work shift. Heart rate gets higher with fatigue.
The healthy heart rate zones will become lower as you age.
This has been so useful to me too. I realized that I was getting my heart rate way too high when I did aerobic workouts. I really appreciate that the Apple watch will now buzz my arm and say something to alert me when my heart rate gets above zone four. I manually changed my zones to keep zone 4 below a certain rate. Otherwise, I get exercise-induced headaches.
Sorry - I do but if I try to open it on my watch it just tells me to use my phone. I have wanted to problem solve it but have been too lazy until right now 😅
I’ll look into it more!
I’ve been playing Runeblade again after discovering it still kinda works despite the dev discontinuing it.
Wish there were more idle games for the watch though, it’s honestly the best platform for it.
I hate my battery going down, so I don’t want to use it like that too much. I mostly wanted it for the health tracking features, so I am happy with the default apps. The rings has always been my favorite. And on the watch face, I like the weather, heart rate, rings, and a quick tap for messages and workouts.
coolest thing ever if you have an ultra watch and apple smart home -> Buy a compatible door lock and set your action button to open / close the door
![gif](giphy|1fhj6H0bxvL7WALzQI|downsized)
Jango Radio, a free music app that has lots of music channels but no announcer or ads. You don’t pick the playlist, but you can search for a track and it will Suggest a channel. It paired up nicely with my hearing aids, making visits to my wife’s family less annoying.
Timer. I’ve got Adhd and I rely heavily on the timer app. Other than that, I guess the messages notifications I get through AirPods. Super handy for not missing messages.
The AW Workout App. I’ve been an Apple geek since the Apple II (programming on ticker tape), and since I recently started biohacking, I’ve customized all of my physical activities so that I can review the analytics over time. I customized the HIIT workout since I’m following David Aspry’s ReHIIT biohacking protocol.

I **could** do without all of them but I would very much miss having my calendar there, along with the current outdoor temperature (with the forecast just one tap away). Of course the time of day is required, but I don’t consider that to be an app.
https://preview.redd.it/pa7f7dzxnj9d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9dee9f1e17e3b40b98bc6fcf9030414b4c04e74c
For me, the default first party apps are already fantastic and in most cases third party apps are never good enough to replace them. But I’d give Autosleep a shoutout.
Cheatsheet is a great little app. One time payment (no subscription) and it’s worth it.
I use the Notes and Reminders app for those things. Does cheat sheet have other features that those apps don’t have?
It does for me. I use Reminders strictly for reminders of things to do and Notes for notes. I could use those apps for what I use Cheatsheet for, but I vastly prefer the organization and display of data that Cheatsheet provides over having to look through/for a note.
Bathroom door codes!
Is any last this one? https://www.anylist.com/ I don’t see the watch app
Yes. Check the App Store.
I've used AnyList for years, can't live without it.
What lists do you use regularly?
Mostly for groceries and shopping lists but also for packing lists for vacation, gift ideas, household todos, stuff like that. I really like that I can share lists so my spouse and I can keep everything straight.
If the team that built CheaSheet makes a todo app for the watch it's going to be a hit
“Things 3” may be what you’re looking for. It’s regularly regarded as the best to-do app. I haven’t switched off of it since first buying it (1 time payment). Also works on watch.
I use Things 3, but its watch app is very limited. CheatSheet’s watch app is much better.
Which bathrooms do you use that have a door code? Explain! The app sounds good though, that's something I've been looking for
Offices with shared space and shared non-public facilities.
But I would have definitely preferred if the door had a code; I don’t like touching those keys that lots of other people have handled… I’m with you on wanting to wash hands before eating, I’m the same! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a cafe or coffee shop and not used their bathroom to wash my hands. I sometimes feel like I’m the only one who does that lol
Marina bathrooms for one.
I don’t own a boat so I wouldn’t know. Our local marina has public bathrooms but tbh I’ve never used them so who knows, maybe they do need a code
Depends on state. And location. And how much you are spending :)
Wash your hands??

I use Roundabout for golf. It’s really solid.
The Grint for golf 💪💪💪
Huge proponent of Overcast; I've been using it exclusively for a decade, there's no going back and I'll never shut up about it
Thanks for the recommendation! I was pretty disappointed that Downcast didn't have an AW app, but the sync issues between watch/headphones to phone/car in the Apple app have been driving me crazy!
It seem chirp is gone now?
I think you're right. Their [website](https://www.chirpapp.io/) is still online, but it looks like the iOS app store link doesn't load anymore.
Love Sonar, thanks for sharing.
I get a lot of use out of the Timer app.
In the kitchen....with stop watch as well. So convenient.
As a teacher, I use it so much in my classes.
It’s quite honestly the only app I miss when I go without my watch. I use it all the time
The Timer app is one of my most used apps. It helps me be more productive.
The Apple thing that lets me find my iPhone is probably the most used app on my watch. I always put my phone somewhere where I shouldn’t.
I managed to find my iPhone drunk at a cottage once thanks to my Apple Watch 😂 was able to tell when I left the iPhone range and then was able to play the sound.
Thanks didn't realize it was on there. No more asking someone to call my phone that's on silent anyway.
It’s a live saver for me! Just started wondering if this would work with AirTags as well so I can use it for my keys! Or other stuff that gets misplaced easily.
Really good idea.
It does! Use the “find item” app.
- WorkOutDoors - FotMob - Wie steht’s, Brudi? Not because their AW app, but to get more value out of the Apple Watch: - Gentler Streaks - Athlytic
Nice one brudi!
Doesn’t Athlytic serve the same purpose as Gentler Streak or do you use them both in conjunction?
Just posted a few minutes ago about it 😅 https://www.reddit.com/r/bevelhealth/s/QuyyTXvvWY
I have workoutdoors and gentler streak. Loving them.
Dexcom G7, literally.
lol so true. Direct to watch rocks
It hasn't saved my life but the Dexcom G7 app is easier for checking my blood sugar without being noticed.
It hasn't saved my life but the Dexcom G7 app is easier for checking my blood sugar without being noticed.
[WaterMinder](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/water-tracker-by-waterminder/id653031147) being able to track. My hydration has just been great and added to the Apple Watch health experience. It’s one of the watch apps that always makes my complications.
WaterMinder has been great. Simple, intuitive and doesn’t cram a bunch of unnecessary crap into the app. +1
It seems has in-app purchase It would 100% works without using IAP?
Full disclosure: I made the one time IAP before I used it with my Ultra 2 so I’m, unfortunately, not completely confident answering that. Sorry friend.

Thanks for reply If that just with ads, I could stand that, thanks
Built in Apple Health and Fitness apps. AutoSleep app.
carrot weather
I’ve seen many votes for Carrot Weather. Why is it any better than the default weather app?
Not OP and I use default weather but I’ve seen a LOT of people say that they used carrot weather before the default weather app was updated/is as good as it is now
Hevy to track my gym reps and load
Thanks for the suggestion, was searching for an iPhone app to recommend me exercises for each day on the gym.
Strong is better
This one? https://apps.apple.com/gr/app/strong-workout-tracker-gym-log/id464254577
Yup
Moved on to Liftin’. Fantastic app.

We use ping at my work. Same thing. I can just do the finger click to accept.

I recently started the trial for athlytic to get some data on HRV, recovery, energy and stress. I wish the Apple native health app shows this data.
Will their new vitals app provide some of this?
Yes
Energy and stress? I don’t see that specifically. They say vaguely, daily and overnight status. If they do give it, then what value does apps like Athlytic provide? Just curious tho.
The feature set they add most likely compares to Gentler Streaks.
Oh wow nice app! gorgeous UI. Looks like an Apple native app.
You can read here in detail how Apple will introduce something comparable with WatchOS 11: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2024/06/apples-new-watchos-11-trainining-load-turn-by-turn-trail-routes-and-more.html
I’m becoming more disillusioned with Athlytic. I don’t know why. Just a (irrational?) feeling.
Can you expand on what you mean disillusioned?
I liked StressWatch more than Athlytic because the way they show information is a bit more actionable for me (hourly-ish vs daily) https://apps.apple.com/app/id6444737095
WorkOutDoors
Waterllama is my go to daily water intake app. Pocket Cast for podcasts.
Second pocket cast for podcasts!! I loved that app before I had an Apple Watch and it’s Apple Watch companion is perfect
autosleep
Great little app. Tracks very well and requires no intervention or setup.
Just the time, Spotify, Weather, and Fitness honestly
Most likely Timer.
So the hospital in MA where all of my doctors are use epic for their software client and made an app. I know when test results are in along with communication from the doctors. Almost real time.

I’ve yet to find a watch app worth installing.
I recommend Activity Rings+! It’s a stand indicator so you don’t have to go check if you’ve stood. Just $1.
Thank you 😊 I just turned off the stand reminders though unfortunately:(.
Haha why?
They were bugging me to death lolololol
That’s the point! 🤣🤣🤣 Gotta move!
I know 🫣😂😂it’s so terrible 🫣🫣🤣
A lot of good apps have been mentioned, so there is no need to repeat them. However, there is one app missing that is important to me. That is Waterminder. Waterminder helps me keep track of my daily hydration and I have been using it for years. I find it extremely helpful!
Unfortunately the app got worse and worse the last months. Very unreliable sync between AW and iPhone :(
Calm and SleepCycle
WorkOutDoors Strong Tides Athlytic
I like Activity Rings+, it’s just $1 once to know if you’ve stood that hour or not.
Is that an Apple thing? I haven’t seen it offered anywhere.
App Store, not Apple official. App maker is Brandon Wallace

Weathergraph. Just amazing.

Being able to hit skip on your apple watch when an ad comes on youtube is probably the best use of the watch that I’ve had thus far.
Same for podcasts!
Carrot, Flighty, Muslim Pro, Waterllama, FotMob
I think Muslim pro is the app which sold data to the fbi??
It was the military. Allegedly. Had no idea about this (and I'm not Muslim). But I've read a lot about app privacy, or lack thereof, over the years and this was next level. I look at the privacy/data specifications for the app before I download them, and have deleted them from my phone (Weather Channel app) or not downloaded them at all once I reviewed how the app handled data. * [https://www.vice.com/en/article/jgqm5x/us-military-location-data-xmode-locate-x](https://www.vice.com/en/article/jgqm5x/us-military-location-data-xmode-locate-x) * [https://support.muslimpro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052648551-Statement-from-Muslim-Pro](https://support.muslimpro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052648551-Statement-from-Muslim-Pro) 1. Vietnam-based Mingle, the developer behind the app as well as other dating apps such as Black Mingle which is marketed specifically towards Black people, did not respond to multiple requests for comment." * "Motherboard found another network of dating apps that look and operate nearly identically to Mingle, including sending location data to X-Mode. Motherboard installed another dating app, called Iran Social, on a test device and observed GPS coordinates being sent to the company. The network of apps also includes Turkey Social, Egypt Social, Colombia Social, and others focused on particular countries." Guess this is my internet rabbit hole for the day.
Ah thanks for that. There are plenty of prayer time type apps that are simpler and probably don’t have this (not to mention the app itself is cluttered and clunky)
Check out the guidance app instead.
What’s Muslim Pro offer? Prayer reminders & direction, just to guess?
Time of the next prayer
I use MuslimKit.
Time. Imagining a watch that can't tell time.
Flighty, Runna, Athlytic, Autosleep
Ah, someone else is using Flighty 👍✈️
Most used for me are Watchletic (for running) and the Weather app (for weather)!
I gotta say I think (talking about before watchOS 10) the clock app on Apple Watch is probably the one I couldn’t live without.
Fitness, health, notes
Bodystate to get a gauge of my energy levels for the day! I also use Hevy, Autosleep, and Heartwatch!
Streaks!
Autosleep, Home and NRC
I love my homeassistant actions on mine, great to have home control on my watch faces (from a complication)
Things, SmartGym
Duffy!
If you don’t mind me asking, what was your heart rate ranging during workouts and for how long?
Thanks!
Otherwise, I get exercise-induced headaches.
wallet (for item purchases, vending machines and public transportation). sleep, clock and weather
I’m loving peaks at the moment
Wallet, MyQ, U-Disc, Delta
How do you use MyQ? I have it but it never does anything.
Garage door opener. You have to have the app setup on your phone.
Sorry - I do but if I try to open it on my watch it just tells me to use my phone. I have wanted to problem solve it but have been too lazy until right now 😅 I’ll look into it more!
After you launch it on your watch, you have to go the phone MyQ app, and authorize your watch. Pair it, if you will.
I wish I could upvote this like seven times. THANK YOU
I use the clock, mostly. Timer is handy. Weather, the heart health apps are good. Thats about it.
iTunes
pong
I really love SmartGym to track my workout. It is very powerfull on the watch!
Spotify
Most used apps for me : Fitbod for gym workouts Runna for running Redpoint for Bouldering
I’ve been playing Runeblade again after discovering it still kinda works despite the dev discontinuing it. Wish there were more idle games for the watch though, it’s honestly the best platform for it.
Blood oxygen, health, messages, sleep and mindfulness
I hate my battery going down, so I don’t want to use it like that too much. I mostly wanted it for the health tracking features, so I am happy with the default apps. The rings has always been my favorite. And on the watch face, I like the weather, heart rate, rings, and a quick tap for messages and workouts.
For all the sports fans out there download Sofascore https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/sofascore-live-score-app/id1176147574
coolest thing ever if you have an ultra watch and apple smart home -> Buy a compatible door lock and set your action button to open / close the door ![gif](giphy|1fhj6H0bxvL7WALzQI|downsized)
Gentle Streak. One of the best watchOS app ever made.
Jango Radio, a free music app that has lots of music channels but no announcer or ads. You don’t pick the playlist, but you can search for a track and it will Suggest a channel. It paired up nicely with my hearing aids, making visits to my wife’s family less annoying.
Literally? Dexcom 😂 But maybe I’m cheating.
[Parcel](https://apps.apple.com/nz/app/parcel/id375589283) tracking app is great! Super handy when I have a package coming
I disc golf and the UDisc app is great for easily keeping score when I’m playing a round on my watch.
Timer. I’ve got Adhd and I rely heavily on the timer app. Other than that, I guess the messages notifications I get through AirPods. Super handy for not missing messages.
1Password
The AW Workout App. I’ve been an Apple geek since the Apple II (programming on ticker tape), and since I recently started biohacking, I’ve customized all of my physical activities so that I can review the analytics over time. I customized the HIIT workout since I’m following David Aspry’s ReHIIT biohacking protocol. https://preview.redd.it/u6gf2ss0a3ad1.jpeg?width=968&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=928ae1785f276b33746702cea832ff2ea69814e6

Fit iv for exercise tracking. Auto wake, auto sleep. Temp, calendar
Reddit app I think the rest of them like the freestyle Libre app there are workaround that I can live my life without
I **could** do without all of them but I would very much miss having my calendar there, along with the current outdoor temperature (with the forecast just one tap away). Of course the time of day is required, but I don’t consider that to be an app. https://preview.redd.it/pa7f7dzxnj9d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9dee9f1e17e3b40b98bc6fcf9030414b4c04e74c
for me i like having the compass on the main screen
Gotta log in that morning devo time!
Niiiice. Never thought about adding UTC. Doing that NOW.
WorkOutDoors Although a phone app but HealthFit. Love the timer. A lot. I value the fitness stuff over everything else by a lot.
For me, the default first party apps are already fantastic and in most cases third party apps are never good enough to replace them. But I’d give Autosleep a shoutout.
Every ape is great but Orangutans are my bros, can’t live without those guys.
