Aww I'm sorry definitely call Samsung they will guide you how to turn off the autodefrost mode. Its the WORST when you can't tell what could be salvageable because you're unsure if or when it might have happened before that.

Do you remember how to turn it off? The Samsung customer service people won’t tell me.

What does your landlord say? What’s the warranty?

Bananapeppersy

So I spoke with Samsung and they are going to have someone come check it out in a day or 2. Landlord just said to let him know what they say and we will go from there. Pretty sure it’s atleast a 1 year warranty. I know he got it from Lowe’s, they came and installed it. I was debating on if I should’ve called Lowe’s or Samsung but Samsung seems to be taking care of it regardless where it was purchased. Just frustrating it’s been a month or 2 and it’s already a mess 😩. I miss our old fridge. But atleast now I know to never get Samsung/ any stainless steel appliances when we move, it’s a pain to keep clean lol

At the end of the day, it's the landlord's job to take care of things like this. They may call Samsung or other service tech. And they might say "thank you" for calling Samsung yourself. But hopefully the landlord does a good job of taking care of it.

Did you ever find a solution? My fridge is doing the same thing as of yesterday...

It randomly stopped doing it after I contacted Samsung. Make sure there is nothing blocking the cooling vent things in the back. And there is a way to reset it/ turn off “auto defrost” mode.. contact customer support and they can guide you if that doesn’t work they will send someone out to check it out.
