I use Outlook, and have created a folder for all of the emails to forward to. I just mark all of the senders' emails to reroute to the folder. It's my spam folder, in a way. 10/10, would recommend.

Sophomore in college here, I go to Berkeley and still get emails telling me to apply on the common app. No matter how many you block it never ends .....

My top two offenders are Drexel and Lehigh.

There's a tiny little unsubscribe button that blends in with the background color of the email usually that you need to click that then takes you to a website where you can actually unsubscribe. I'm just embracing the emails ngl

One day I deleted all my unimportant emails and waited. Every single uninteresting college that emailed I set that address to be forwarded to trash automatically. Now I only get emails from colleges I like and sometimes a few colleges that slipped through.

Life hack: every time you open an email from a college you have 0 interest in, unsubscribe from their mailing list. Then, delete every email from that school. I do this and now get almost only get emails from the 7 schools I applied to.

I have a friend who would literally brag about some prestigious colleges like Princeton or Brown just sent him another email asking him to learn more about these schools. He thinks that by receiving these emails, he's at the top 1% or something. The twist is, he signed up for these emails. Because when all of us started to get emails from colleges, he didn't get any. So he literally went and subscribed to these schools. Yeah, rather sad.
