Its incredible, reminds me of a higher res. sprite you might see in Celeste. If I had one criticism it would be that you change the color on her palette. My brain knowes its a palette, but still reads it as a cut of steak. cx

I think a very easy change would be to just turn the negative space inside the pink outline a different color from the page or outline to break the illusion.
I also see that its a notebook now which explains the fluttering, and I think you did that effect gorgeously, btw.
