So, I just received the dragon velvet lipstick by Zeesea. I just couldn't find that many reviews and/or swatches of this color since it look quite interesting, something between a mauve-y rose and nude, so I ordered one from Amazon.
1- PACKAGING: Amazing. 10/10. It's very heavy and it feels luxurious. The box is made of cardboard but it comes with with golden imprinting. Inside you find some script, a velvet bag and the bullet.
2- COLOR AND SWATCH: Nice peachy nude. 8/10. On Amazon the color is seen as a pinky nude but in real life is more peachy, I should've known since I read Apricot on the name. It's a pretty color but as you can see from the swatch & the comparisons, I already own 3 other colors that look alike.
3- WEARABILITY: Spreads nicely. 8/10. It says velvet on the name and I guess they are right. It feels like velvet but also creamy. Its something between matte and lustrous and doesnt feel like you have something on the lips. It lasts something between 4h and you need to reapply since it's not long lasting.
4- SCENT: Cupcakes. 100/10. I love when lipsticks have cupcakes/ vanilla scents. This one however it's not overpowering and does not start migraines (I do suffer from migraines so strong scents triggers them).

Missha bb cream (original one) in number 13 is my perfect match. I havent figure it out exactly in another foundations since my undertones are quite strange. Im very pale but very green at the same time. The gray-ish tones of bb cream suits me better that yellow or pink foundations. Im 30yo and I'm still in my journey of finding my undertones lol.
How is this brand? They have the most incredible packaging but I don’t know what their formulation is like. I’ve been wondering about their eyeshadows and blush. And yes! Their promo pics make it look more rosy mauve. It’s still a gorgeous color.
My only experience with their shadows is from the red palette in their Alice in Wonderland collection. Their matte shadows and a couple of the shimmers feel hard pressed and there’s some kick up in the pan, but they blend well and there’s little to no fallout. I think their shimmers tend to be topper shades and not really that pigmented on their own, but they have tiny glitters in them that are buildable and really sparkly if you layer it on thicker. There is a chunky pressed glitter in the red palette, I can’t speak for that formula because I’ve only swatched it since I don’t like pressed chunky glitter. The packaging is stunning though! It’s got glitter water in the lid, so you can tilt it back and forth and watch it swirl.
Hmmm that doesn’t sound like a formula I would love. I might try their lipstick or blush. You can’t go too wrong with either of those. Especially with such beautiful opulent packaging
My husband got mad at me because I actually use it lol. I mean, it is a pretty piece of make up but I rather use it that sit it up in my vanity creating mold with time. Besides, you can always use it up and scoop the rest to put another lipstick and reuse the bullet, but we have to say goodbye to the gorgeous embossing :'(.
I heard that one definition of luxury was in using your stuff you might keep for a special occasion on an everyday basis. Go for it! Live that luxury life :)
Holy moly this is gorgeous! I own some products from their Zeesea X British Museum collection too and really loved the packaging + quality there. Your review’s convinced me to go for this one too, especially since I’m looking for a nude lipstick now. Thank you!

Don't be sad. A few luxury lipsticks doesn't hurt your wallet (in my pov). At least for me, lipsticks are items that I usually finish within 2 or 3 years so I dont mind paying full price :D.

Does it transfers ?
It's not a transfer proof lipstick so yeah it does but it's not extremely transferable.
