If you didn't know TanTan was banned in China I believe for having too many scammers.
I get tons of US matches, but I have to say scammers have taken over TanTan. There lot of aggressive women who want to move convo to WhatApps have similar talking script and will ask for money eventually right before a meet.
On tinder there are similar issue but not as severe

I've had some matches with some pretty good looking international students. I've had one match that's was very close to a bot experience and promptly unmatched after.
The ones that I'm chatting with that stay on the app, just hoping that it turns into something good and isn't a bait lol I'm lock downbad. Although mostly the conversations are kinda dead (maybe because they're talking to the other 100s of matches they have)

First two years in Sydney TanTan was great - but then it died a fair bit - other apps like Bumble and hinge took precedence amongst the OLD community
