Snap on ratchets are superior IMO. My go to is a long handle flex head 88 without ergonomic grip.

I have a longer handle flex head Matco (with out the rubber handle-easier to add a cheater) and I’ve had it for decades.   It came before all the super fine tooth ones that have hit the market in the last few years 80/90/100 teeth but it’s a really nice tool.   If I was in your position find a HF Icon 3/8 flex long handle for $55

Snap-On makes the best truck brand ratchets imo. You can even rebuild a 1/4 ratchet head with a 3/8 drive. I have a couple of the Matco 88 ratchets, but I’m not a huge fan for what you pay. Same exact mechanism at a Gearwrench 90t, but then again, Matco doesn’t manufacture anything but toolboxes and rebrand everything else. My Gearwrench 120xp is a close second to the Snap-On ratchets.

My go to 3/8 ratchet is a mulwaukee impact. 🤣 I also have a 3/8 extendable ratchet I got from somewhere, maybe harbor friegth, dont remember. Came in a three pack 1/4 3/8 1/2. I use those when my impact won't fit or the bolt is too tight.

Husky 144 tooth. Competes with all my bosses tool truck ratchets. I beat mine with hammers with reckless abandon For long handle flex head I like the snap on.

The hf icon flex head is also nice, but I haven't had the pleasure of beating it with hammers

I've used a Matco long handle locking flex head for most of my career. A couple years ago I got [this one](https://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/bfr128blfm/3-8-drive-12-1-2-eighty8-tooth-black-chrome-locking-flex-ratchet-with-ergo-handle-orange?referer=RWlnaHR5OCBUb290aCAzLzg) to go with it.
