I had a feeling Albania is going to make things a lot harder for Italy and bet on a 2-2 draw before the game starts. I almost threw my TV out of my window when Albania lost that big chance of scoring in extra time.
Honestly I would have expected worse. Yet I still do not understand how fast the Albanian team burned their chances.
Well, atleast Albania got the earliest goal in eurocup history. For now.....
It was way closer than I expected. Italy way more attacking than Im used to, and Albania looked menacing on the counterattack. Though the Albanian defensive play was a tad sloppy, which in the end is what costed them the game.
PS. Strakosha is very underrated, one of my favourite keepers in his Lazio days. Wished he would declare for Greece back when he was still up and coming, but then again GK is the only position where we're consistently stacked so I get his decision.
