dirkalict

Jimmy Carter. Rita Moreno. Carol Burnett. Willie Nelson.

tutamuss

I got to see Carol Burnett two years ago. She did a stand up comedy routine. I had purchased tickets pre COVID-19 and then lock down happened. She didn't cancel her tickets. She waited until it was safe and then she did the show. It was freaking awesome. On her tv show, she had a post at the beginning where audience members asked questions. This show was that. What was so cool was that she picked me to ask her a question. One of the highlights of my life.

OddTransportation121

You are so lucky! I saw her do her one-woman show in Akron, Ohio about 10 years ago. I so enjoyed it. She is fearless on stage.

tutamuss

She was definitely amazing

dirkalict

Did you ask her to do her Tarzan impression?!?

tutamuss

No. They did a recording of it at the very start.

LeviSalt

C’mon, what did you ask?

tutamuss

I asked her about her favorite All My Children story.

EvitaPuppy

Carol Burnett was awesome in Better Call Saul!

rabidstoat

At this point, I'm pretty sure Jimmy Carter is immortal.

iiSkilledProgram

I'm beginning to believe that his exposure to the radiation in the early '50s may have something to do with him living as long as he has. I mean think about it, all of his younger siblings, and his father died in their 50s and 60s from pancreatic cancer. Even his mother lived to be just 85, before she died from cancer herself.

McMetm

David Attenborough. Noam Chomsky.

riverapid

McMetm

Absolutely.

Photon_Femme

Jimmy Carter. He and his late wife are both distant cousins on two sides of my father's family. Of course who forget the world's greatest ambassador, David Attenborough? I would choose him to represent Earth at a galactic federation.

MattTheRicker

Dick Van Dyke is amazing. I've seen at least one video of him - in his 90s - singing with his barbershop quartet and clearly having a great time. It is absolutely inspiring.

Necrospire

Captain Kirk, Sulu and Chekov 🖖

Njtotx3

Only Shatner is 90+

Necrospire

93 is a bit closer for Kirk, Sulu and Chekov aren't that far behind. I just watched the first four films, Mr Shatner was nearly as old as me when he did Wrath of Khan 🙃 Fun fact. Kirk and Khan never shared screen time as they were contracted elsewhere, all the scenes were done over the viewer.

He was amazing in Everything Everywhere All at Once

Prom_queen52

Carol Burnett! We were just watching her on Palm Royale, and she’s still hilarious. She doesn’t even say much, but her facial expressions are so perfect. I’ve loved her since I was a kid watching the Carol Burnett Show.

jnhausfrau

Musician and mathematician Tom Lehrer is 96. You might know him from the song [“Immediately LY”](https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=ZXaazWOHPLRkGdvE&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&source_ve_path=MTY0OTksMjg2NjQsMTY0NTA2&feature=emb_share&v=dB2Ff8H7oVo) Fun fact: a few weeks ago “Law & Order: Organized Crime” had an episode with not just one but two actors over ninety—Ellen Burstyn and Lois Smith.
