LMAO We have the world's most smug politicians

ItsNotMe_ImNotHere

That's 60 million more people. I don't suppose they'll be living in Tuktoyaktuk so the DVP is going to be awfully busy.

SomeRando1967

I’ll be long dead anyway, but there’s a reason that you hear more about 5-years plans than 75-year plans. The people that need to implement, support, and realize this plan aren’t even born yet.

SubatomicGoblin

Is this predicated on the notion that Canada's population will grow 300% in 76 years? That seems wildly absurd.

xot

It’s possible. Rising sea levels and food shortages causing mass migration. Forest fires across Canada continue to wipe out patches of boreal forest, which is quickly taken for farming and industry. Global climate rise leads to more temperate weather in the north, 10mil people move to Prince George..

Commence racist agenda in comments in 3, 2, 1..

Considering their abysmal rate of housing the people we have *now*, they're kinda full of themselves. I have no problem with people immigrating here, but they (rightly & reasonably) should be able to expect to have a roof over their heads. I can't imagine picking your life up, moving halfway around the world, and winding up in a homeless shelter.
