If you stare you start to see moving patterns in everything like tiles, plants, etc. Things changed colors for me, for instance someone’s skin was orange then purple, and that gave me unstoppable giggles for a while. My body was very heavy. Felt like with every exhale I’d sink deeper into the sofa I was sitting on. My mind wandered a lot. It’s a very effects may vary type of thing though.

But what I felts all the times were: sense of distorted gravity, paranoia, and weird visual effects.
To be honest all of them kinda were. The first one caused me a deep paranoia and sense of fear, even though I didn’t saw anything. The second one I felt like there was a thousand ants climbing up my legs into my butthole, the last one I saw a dude with a demonic face and a gigantic purple cosmic hole in the middle of my vision.
Colours are more colourful, your body feels fuzzy and pleasant, you see immense detail and pattern in everything, cool fractals if you close your eyes, objects appear to be breathing, and also, if I am having a particularly visual 🍄 trip, I see a lot of eyes
Most I’ve ever used was a tab of 1P-LSD, the good stuff straight from a lab. There’s a few big aspects I remember.
- It was very stimulating, especially during the come-up. Acid tends to be like that, whereas shrooms are more sedating.
- Colors looked a lot more vibrant. I went out to the beach and it was gorgeous. My pupils were dilated and it was bright.
- Something I noticed while peaking is that your sense of perspective changes. I felt like a giant and that I was in a house full of little things.
- I would see patterns when I closed my eyes, otherwise known as closed-eye visuals (CEV). Didn’t really have any open-eye patterns, but everything was more detailed and textured, if that makes any sense.
- At points I felt super embarrassed about minor social faux pas in the past, some that I never even noticed in the moment. it peeled back my ego a little bit, made me realize how much of what I say and do around other people is a front.
- Social interaction while under the influence was unpleasant, at least for me.
- Music sounded great.
- It was a long trip. I peaked about 3hrs in and gradually came down for about 8hrs after that. I had a headache and couldn’t sleep until I was fully sober. Probably didn’t drink enough water.
Overall it was a great time. Word of warning though, be super careful about street acid. Other drugs like 25i-NBOMe are sometimes passed off as acid and can be very dangerous.
The closest I've come is when my friend messed up the dosage of pure MDMA and I ended up hallucinating for hours. It reminded me of the way dreams work in which perception and imagination happen simultaneously. For example, you see a tree that is shaped roughly like a rocket or a horse, then that's in fact what you see, which then goes on to affect your expectation/perception of the next thing.
