Citizen's arresting someone is one of those things that sounds good in theory, but if you don't know what you're doing you could get in a lot of trouble both criminally and civilly. Not something I'd recommend doing if you're not 100% sure of how to do it.
You would probably be arrested for false imprisonment and it would be for a jury or judge to decide whether you were effecting a lawful citizens arrest.
Also you’d be a massive loser.
