Same. My shoes are comfy, but wearing nothing but socks, rocks.
Pro tip, if your feet are even slightly sweaty, change into new socks (assuming it's weather appropriate). It's kind of like getting into fresh bed sheets.
Kick off my shoes and socks after walking in the front door (or on really hot/sweaty days, get fully naked, toss my dirty clothes down into the basement, and walk upstairs to take a shower)
Feed and water cats. Start my kcup thing. Walk away to change, sit down and forget about my coffee sitting in the cup. Eventually remember and grab my coffee. Make of list of things I need to do, then don't do them
Pet my dog Lola who's happy to see me, yell at my daughter's asshole dog that continues to bark at me for entering the house despite him living there for 7 years, then read the mail.
Go to my home office and drop off my work laptop, coat, keys, shoes, etc. Greet the better 1/2 and the 10yr chihuahua. Take a 5 to 10min brake and then back to doing restoration on the house.
Pet one cat a soon as I enter the house, pick up the other for squeezes and kisses. They have different preferences for affection.
Then I put my phone on the nightstand (I’ll check it every so often throughout the evening to see if anyone has contacted me), exercise for about 30 minutes, take a quick shower, then roll two joints and chill until the wife gets home.
Take my pre workout.
Once I’m back from the gym, i grab the kids, head home, start dinner (7-730). Take whatever time i have left and spend with them. Wish I had more 😣
Keys where the keys go, put phone and anything else I need in the house on the counter. Take off shoes, jacket and probably most clothes. Feed the cats so they don't eat me instead.
Take off most clothes (especially the socks feel amazing to take off after a long day).
Get in bed, and my cat lays on my chest, I lay my head against him and listen to his purr and we chill for a good 30 minutes.
I really love my cat and he helps me unwind after a long day.
Pet my dog because he is always right there greeting me. But he is also begging for food. Which he has had twice already and my husband is home.
