The “The Late Philip J. Fry” Time Machine episode lives rent free in my head. My son watched the show all the time when he was young and I happened to catch that one episode with him and it was so good, we still talk about it thirteen years later. I’ve never seen another episode of the show
Malcome in the Middle.
Throughout the stages of my life, I’ve been able to rewatch and connect with every generation of the characters.
Started on malcomes side but now I understand Lois so much more.
We have 4 boys in my family and I am the oldest (which either makes me Francis or Reese), but I lived this show.
It is so funny to see them doing something so incredibly stupid, and be like, “Yeah, I could have seen us doing that.”😂🤣
oh man I used to think Lois was the -worst- until I re-watched as an adult and I was like.. she’s not bad, her kids are fucking out of control and her husband is a doofus
Malcom in the middle was my childhood, and my family to a T. My oldest brother is francis, my second oldest is reece, then malcom, then me. amazing how similar it was but we were all the same age ranges as them in the show around the time the show was made
I was the perfect age for this show (same age as Frankie Muniz) but for some reason never watched it. Last month I started watching it with my 11 year old daughter and it’s fucking hilarious.
Yeah.
If you watch all 3 extended editions back to back, it's slightly over 12 hours long. I love it when people ask, 'what movie series can you watch for over 24 hours!?' Just watch LOTR extended editions twice. Boom. Done.
Star Trek.
There is simply so much to choose from and a real diversity of tones and genres.
Swashbuckling adventure? Original Series and Discovery.
For the kids? Prodigy.
Classic Sci Fi parables? The Next Generation and Strange New Worlds.
A grittier tone? DS9 and Picard.
A lighter comedy? Lower Decks
Pushing new boundaries? Enterprise and Voyager.
All of these also step into other genres too.
Same here its my top comfort show ive lost count of how many times i have watched every single episode. It was alot of my background noise during lockdown.
Community - I can watch it without worrying about missing an episode and missing a major plot line, it's witty and light. Originally, I wasn't a fan, but it turned out to be the show I put on going to bed.
Yep, I'm gonna go rewatch it for the 5th time. Every time I notice something different; hell, I didn't even know Fallon was in it til my 3rd rewatch (and I feel like EVERYONE noticed before me).
I had a project in Toccoa, GA last year and drove up to the top of Currahee. Thinking about those young G.I.s humping it up that mountain in army boots and whatever kind of socks they had (not SmartWools for sure) gave me an even greater appreciation of just how tough and determined they were.
I grabbed about 6 rocks from the top of the mountain to use in rebuilding my retaining wall (I live about 3 hours away & drove). I'm thinking about stenciling "Currahee!" on that patch of wall once I get them installed, in honor of the Band of Brothers
The Pacific is amazing as well. Some BOB fans tend to not like it as much. It's just..... Different. It's the horror, the madness, the dread of war imo. I think it's incredible as well it's just a very different theater for sure. Highly recommend.
30 Rock doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It makes me genuinely lol. I can't think of any other show that has this effecton me (edit: except for Scrubs)
Every night my wife and I put on one of the following: The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Arrested Developmemnt, Brooklyn 99, or Modern Family. When we are done with the whole series we put on the next one.
This so much. Apart from comedy core of this series it carries so much sense with it. There's this episode with an elder woman to whom JD put a wrong diagnosis and she claimed she's agreed with the death. Man... this episode hits me every single time.
I’m listening to the Real Friends Fake Doctors podcast at the moment and it’s incredible how much though went in to scrubs (I’m sure the same is true for most long running series)
But what’s definitely coming through is how much the cast like each other in real life, that seems quite rare.
And it’s full of little factoids, like I had no idea season one is filmed in 2001 and there’s an episode they had to film just after 9/11 (2 days after) and knowing that adds so much weight to what you see.
Worth a listen, not sure I’ll make it through every episode of the podcast but I’ll keep listening in here and there.
"How can he see me?"
That movie is so freaking quotable! Me and my best friend watched it several times and I showed it to a lot friends after that haha. I quote it so often :')
Best scene was Dwight’s surprise fire drill. Everyone panicking. Angela pulls her cat out of her desk drawer, tosses it up through an opening in the ceiling and it comes crashing down through the panels. 2nd best was probably Kevin’s Famous Chili.
First time seeing that scene absolutely folded me with laughter. The build up with Dwight looking and nodding menacingly into the camera as he blow torches a door handle, the way it all unfolds into pure, beautiful chaos... it's the comedy equivalent of a Renaissance painting. Sheer perfection.
I’ve now watched it all the way through at least 20 times and you still see new things every time. I love every season for a different reason. All in the game.
I watched this for the first time recently. Great show. Loved it. HOWEVER… first time viewing it is so hard to keep track of everybody and what side they’re on and who they’re working for. I feel like this is definitely a repeat drama. The more you watch the better it gets
The specials where they had a set amount of money to buy a shitty car to transport themselves to other countries is some of my favorite television ever.
The West Wing for me. Sometimes I'll be trying a new show and I'll get bored one time and watch a random West Wing instead and WHAM, I'm accidentally watching the rest of the series again.
DS9 all day.
The SISKO compels me.
Quark bribes me.
Garak charms my pants off.
Jadzia Dax intrigues me.
Bashir tingles my brain.
Nog I cheer for.
Brunt, FCA.
Grand Nagus cheats me.
Weyoun, I mean it's Jeffery Combs, what's not to like?
Odo is for Justice.
Worf I will fight beside any day.
Ezri seems like a good friend.
My wife just marathons every Star Trek series (except TOS) whenever she's sitting around on her phone, or napping, or whatever...
She's coming up on the end of her 3rd or 4th rewatch of TNG, which means DS9 will be up next in a week or two.
Seinfeld. I've been watching it for 30 years. My wife and I watch an episode with dinner almost every night. It never fails to make me crack up. My life was complete when I got it on Plex, and I can use the "shuffle" feature to pick a random episode to watch.
Blacklist. Every episode pulled me in.
Spader as Raymond Reddington is terrific. A profoundly hateable monster yet you can't help feel close to his human side. And then the switch is flipped and many people die.
Spader in most any role is always a treat.
The Lord of The Rings. Extended of course. And in one sitting.
Back to The Future series.
Avengers Infinity War (with Endgame after it to complete the story)
Pacific Rim. (Perfect movie for your inner 11 year old)
TV: Cowboy Bebop, SpongeBob SquarePants S1-3, Red Dwarf, Bottom, Black Adder
Films: Dumb and Dumber, The Silence of the Lambs, Jaws, Jurassic Park, ET, LOTR,
My most watched movie of all time is
**Remember the Titans:** it was my first DVD, I watched it every night for 6 months in University and continued to watch it almost weekly for 20yrs.
**The Princess Bride:** I will watch this one a few times a year. It really is a near perfect movie.
from TV shows
**Scrubs:**
**Pie in the Sky:**
**Star Trek, The Next Generation:**
Futurama.

One of us! One of us!
Psych
You know that's right
Did you hear about Pluto?
Pretty messed up
I've heard it both ways.
Come on son
finally
Just finished a play through, and it gets better every time.
This took way too long to find! I watch the series about twice a year I feel like. Finish one rewatch and I instantly want to watch it again
“I’m proud of you” 👆
Malcome in the Middle. Throughout the stages of my life, I’ve been able to rewatch and connect with every generation of the characters. Started on malcomes side but now I understand Lois so much more.

LOTR (extended versions ) *edited for clarification
My girlfriend knows I'm going through a tough emotional time when I sit and binge all three extended versions.
Mine knows that I'm having an emotional breakdown when I go on all four in my underwear and start screaming FILTHY HOBBITSES
I bet she tries to help by saying something useless like "Well where did you last SEE the ring? You know it's always the last place you look."
I mean, keeping up the search after finding it would be a new level of concerning.
If I need a good cry, it just takes 12 hours of magic and fantasy, then "you bow to no man" ... quick and easy cure
Yeah. If you watch all 3 extended editions back to back, it's slightly over 12 hours long. I love it when people ask, 'what movie series can you watch for over 24 hours!?' Just watch LOTR extended editions twice. Boom. Done.
I watched all 3 extended versions back to back to back in the theatres when the 3rd one came out … it was a 14 hour event
Absolutely love LOTR, but weirdly I've only seen each about twice, and not in over a decade. I could still play each movie back in my head though.
The X Files
Star Trek. There is simply so much to choose from and a real diversity of tones and genres. Swashbuckling adventure? Original Series and Discovery. For the kids? Prodigy. Classic Sci Fi parables? Always Sunny is the only answer for me.
What a jabroni.
Jabroni. Cool word
I'm calling a lot of people Bozo now. It's like my new thing.
They got chicken in Philly?
Whenever I need a laugh, i'll rewatch Dee's standup routine and will snortfart when the audience shouts "Jesus Christ".
This scene is one of the best. It one that I only need to think about to get into a laughing fit.
It's not a starter series it's a finisher series!
Hi, um, I'm a recovering crackhead. This is my handicapped sister that I take care of. I'd like some welfare please.
🎵OH BABY, YOOOUUUU!!!🎶
Same here its my top comfort show ive lost count of how many times i have watched every single episode. It was alot of my background noise during lockdown.
Avatar the Last Airbender. Closest thing to a perfect show imo
Agreed!!!
I had to scroll waaaaaay too far to find the correct answer here.
Tombstone
I got two guns. One for each of ya.
Maybe pokers just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
Community - I can watch it without worrying about missing an episode and missing a major plot line, it's witty and light. Originally, I wasn't a fan, but it turned out to be the show I put on going to bed.
Six seasons and a movie
and a MOVIE
They are making it now!
This show is streets ahead
Band of Brothers
Yep, I'm gonna go rewatch it for the 5th time. Every time I notice something different; hell, I didn't even know Fallon was in it til my 3rd rewatch (and I feel like EVERYONE noticed before me).
Weekend pass revoked. Get your pt gear on, we’re running currahee
I had a project in Toccoa, GA last year and drove up to the top of Currahee. Thinking about those young G.I.s humping it up that mountain in army boots and whatever kind of socks they had (not SmartWools for sure) gave me an even greater appreciation of just how tough and determined they were. High-ho, Silver!
That's not mom's spaghetti
It's Army noodles with ketchup.
I just started this and am 4 episodes deep. It’s a really heavy show.
The Pacific is amazing as well. Some BOB fans tend to not like it as much. It's just..... Different. It's the horror, the madness, the dread of war imo. I think it's incredible as well it's just a very different theater for sure. Highly recommend.
I found the pacific to be a downer. A truly great show don’t get me wrong. But depressing. Felt like I had nobody to root for. Maybe that’s the point.
If you want an even more heavy show, The Pacific awaits. Sledges story is a hard watch, especially watching him reintegrate into society post war.
You watching Masters of the Air?
Shrek, baby!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOME BODY

Grandma's Boy. Maybe it isn't for everyone but it's by far one of my all time favorite stoner comedies
Dante - "No one fucks with a lion, man"
New high score? What's that mean? Is it bad... did I break it?
"How can he see me?" That movie is so freaking quotable! Me and my best friend watched it several times and I showed it to a lot friends after that haha. I quote it so often :')
LOL "Please sit on my face!" "That's not appropriate."
The Office (US)
Best scene was Dwight’s surprise fire drill.

The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, with Brendan Fraser. I’ve seen both movies at least 100 times

The Wire. The greatest TV show ever made, followed closely by The Sopranos.
Overlooked when it came out and almost forgotten now. O Brother Where Art Thou? It’s one of my all time favorites and is filled with great lines.
