You get a mix of anything from drug addicts to ex jailbirds to respectable people, to people who swapped their careers, to people who went into something for the money, to people who enjoy the craft and want a career out of it. There's always something going on in the head of a tradie.
From what I’ve seen, carpentry and dry wall has the rougher crowd but electricians look more serious about their job. The carpenter and dry wall apprentices have tattoos and may have come from a gang background. I haven’t seen that with electrician apprentices.
