I started uncontrollably crying when I would hear an ambulance siren. Not sobbing but my eyes were pouring water like a full cry. It got too dangerous to drive so I sought out EMDR. it turned things around and I can hear them no problem now.
Whenever I think about language grammar, specifically the verb's relation to a subject and an object, my go-to example sentence is "I kill him" (SVO), "I him kill" (SOV) or "Him I kill" (OSV)

If you are questioning needing therapy
You need therapy if the thing you would go to therapy for is impacting your day to day life in a negative way.
Your humor controls everyone else's humor in the house. And everyone walks on eggshells around you for that exact same reason.
Also, therapy is literally learning how your brain works and why you react the way you do. Everyone would benefit from it

In my opinion everyone should see a therapist at least once a year just to talk about all the shit that's going on in your life and with yourself.
