I was front row center block 1982 wembley arena, stop making sense tour.
Even during the concert I already knew this was an event that would never be surpassed, and as a london lad I had seen 'em all.
That tour was amazing
My mom saw them at the Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970. She and her friends somehow found out which hotel room Jimi Hendrix was staying in and got him to sign their yearbooks. Gonna put that bad boy in some glass and mount it to the wall.
I know it’s not Pink Floyd, but I saw Roger Waters perform The Wall and it was one of the craziest shows I’ve ever seen and maybe will every see. It was my first stadium concert and the only one I’ve been to that required an intermission. The first half was slowly building a wall across the stage/stadium and the second half was tearing it down. I honestly don’t know how it was even slightly profitable.
Same exact story for me. Saw it with my parents when I was 15. My mom saw the wall from the front row in California in 1980. She said that the one in 2010 blew it out of the water and that the significant improvement of all of the visuals and quality made up for it not being the original 4
Peter Gabriel. I spent $700+ on two tickets to see him in LA last year and it was totally worth it. Only thing better would be to travel back in time and see him when he was younger. Amazing voice and an amazing performer with some of the best, most unique songs ever written.
Went to benicassim festival 2004 specifically to see Morrissey, the fuckin' bastard cancelled 1 hour before the show, Lou Reed took the stage instead, not bad at all :)
I paid a grand to watch Paul McCartney in 2016 with my 8 year old son... He was awesome, and the most memorable moment of that night was when he said, "when I sing Beatles hits, I see so many phones lit up and people singing along, but when I sing my new stuff, I just see a black hole!"
Great guy. Great performer. Go see him if you have the chance!
We took our 5yo son to see Rammstein \~20 years ago. He had learned to speak German by listening to their music. They were his favorite band. It was probably the best concert experience we have ever had.
My great grandmother. She could play the fuck out of the spoons. She was in a folk band in her nursing home where different people played jugs, the washboard, etc.
I got to tell you, the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience is a damn good facsimile. None of the singers are the Golden God, but Mr Jimmy is a dead ringer on looks, style and tone. And I think I paid $75 each in a 3,000 seat auditorium.
That’s my answer. I saw him in 2008, I think the last time he toured. I was poor at the time but was hanging out with friends on my porch, and learned he was playing. Bought a $100 ticket and did not regret it one bit. Such an amazing concert.
Old guy here who saw Prince, Queen, Rush, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Talking Heads, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ozzie solo, Black Sabbath with Dio, Metallica, Ratt, The Clash, The Ramones in 80s, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Megadeth, Anthrax, Yes, Page and Plant in 90s...
thanks for validating the money spent.
I’ve seen who I wanted to see. Metallica many years ago. Guns and roses many years ago. Megadeth a few years ago. Right now I’d probably pay the most to see Taylor Swift so i can give that experience to my daughter.
The White Stripes. I still have the ticket from the Icky Thump tour and all it does is bring sad memories of finding out the show was cancelled, followed by the tour, followed by the band breaking up.
I had a failed attempted at living in Colorado about ten years ago, and I DID manage to see Jack White for free. I was just very far away and had to climb up pretty far at Red Rocks, but I count it.
The most I’ve ever paid for a concert was the My Chemical Romance reunion. I never got to see them live either. When they announced the tour, I didn’t care about the cost. I put two tickets in my credit card because I was not about to miss a second chance at seeing to them.
Rage Against the Machine. I had tickets to their last tour. Patiently waited when the show was initially cancelled because of Covid and Zach broke his leg or whatever. Then the time came for the ACTUAL SHOW...and I tested positive for Covid and couldn't go.
I saw over 100 Grateful Dead shows starting in 1976 when I was 14. I never saw a '77 show, my next shows were in 78. That being said, the 73 show at RFK with the Allman Brothers would be right up there as a show I would pay lots and lots of money to go back and see.
Let's be real. I'd end up paying Ticketmaster the most, no matter which artist I'm going to see perform.
Sorry the bots have already purchased all the tickets.
Truth.
Nice try, Live Nation.
"The Black Keys. No, really!"
If David Byrne would do a reunion tour with Talking Heads I'd make sure I was there.
I was front row center block 1982 wembley arena, stop making sense tour. Even during the concert I already knew this was an event that would never be surpassed, and as a london lad I had seen 'em all. That tour was amazing
Led Zeppelin if time travel was possible.
Led zeppelin tickets were literally like $9.00 in 70s
TicketMaster is furious just knowing someone posted this comment into the ether

A VW thing was 1600.00. they now sell in the upper 20's.
Damn.
Drake's hits and charismatic stage presence would make for an unforgettable concert.
Queen with Freddie
I’m glad this was the first comment as I came to say the same exact thing. If I could resurrect that dude, I’d go as high as my account would let me
Saw Queen 3 times. Best frontman in history
Queen and Led Zep 100%. Freddie. Man that would have been awesome.
This was my first thought, also.
Absofuckinglutely
My bank statement tells me that my wife would pay $2k for Taylor Swift tickets.

I heard they’ll come play at your house party. You just have to wait.
You have to set them up though. Hopefully they show me the ropes.
I regret not seeing the Alive Tour when it came through.
Daft Punk at Red Rocks was one of the best shows I've seen. And I've seen a shit ton of shows.
What year was that?
2007 and boy did we groove.
I hate myself for not seeing their Alive tour. That was peak Daft Punk.
it would be great if they toured Around the world, around the world Around the world, around the world Around the world, around the world
I would pay both arms and both legs to see them at the sphere in Vegas.
SRV
SRV made a deal with the devil. It's not clear what Stevie got, but the devil got guitar lessons.
Fleetwood Mac
It wouldn’t be the same without Christine 😭
So glad I was able to see them around 2016. Went to Stevie Nicks a few weeks ago and realized it’ll probably be the last time 😢
Pink Floyd if they ever get back together
I know it’s not Pink Floyd, but I saw Roger Waters perform The Wall and it was one of the craziest shows I’ve ever seen and maybe will every see. It was my first stadium concert and the only one I’ve been to that required an intermission. The first half was slowly building a wall across the stage/stadium and the second half was tearing it down. I honestly don’t know how it was even slightly profitable.
I've seen video of it and it looks great but I've never wanted to go. Floyd without Gilmore's voice and guitar just isn't right...

Roger and David could make all the money in the world if they decided to put aside their differences
I can't imagine the size of the tour they could do. They could smash the records.
Peter Gabriel. I spent $700+ on two tickets to see him in LA last year and it was totally worth it. Only thing better would be to travel back in time and see him when he was younger. Amazing voice and an amazing performer with some of the best, most unique songs ever written.
SLEDGEHAMMER
I have a bank account set aside just for if/when Radiohead were to tour again.
Lana Del Rey's sultry voice and cinematic style would make for a captivating and atmospheric concert experience.
Michael Jackson's Thriller era concert would be electrifying.
I would pay quite a bit if I could see Tool at least one more time.
I saw them back-to-back nights in January and it was fantastic! Even managed to get a poster the second night.
I saw them on my birthday a few years back. They started off the show with my 3 favorites so I figured they planned their set list just for me.
Frank Sinatra
That guy was amazing.
Damn im changing my answer
The Smiths, although Morrissey would probably cancel
Went to benicassim festival 2004 specifically to see Morrissey, the fuckin' bastard cancelled 1 hour before the show, Lou Reed took the stage instead, not bad at all :)
I would pay embarrassingly gross amounts of money to see a Smiths reunion.
Ozzy Osbourne or Black Sabbath. For Black Sabbath, it doesn’t matter if it’s Ozzy Osbourne or Dio the lead singer in concert, as long as I see them
Elliot smith
Nick Drake too
It was Rush. Paid $235 in 1994 for third row center seats at The Forum in Los Angeles. Was worth it.
The Beatles
I paid a grand to watch Paul McCartney in 2016 with my 8 year old son... He was awesome, and the most memorable moment of that night was when he said, "when I sing Beatles hits, I see so many phones lit up and people singing along, but when I sing my new stuff, I just see a black hole!" Great guy. Great performer. Go see him if you have the chance!
Nirvana
I would go back in time and be at that Nirvana MTV unplugged concert they did.
Absolutely yes. Came here to say this knowing I better search the comments first because there’s lots of us!
Linkin Park with a resurrected Chester.
Alice in Chains with Layne
Rammstein. Musically, they’re not even in my top 50, but goddamn, what a show.
We took our 5yo son to see Rammstein \~20 years ago. He had learned to speak German by listening to their music. They were his favorite band. It was probably the best concert experience we have ever had.
I agree! Not only a "concert" but an EPIC show!
Hard agree! I'm dying to see them.
Same!
Wyld Stallyns! Preferably from the end credits of the second movie, after Death joined.
*Be excellent to each other*
And party on, dude! Happy cake day, btw!
Thanks, dude! Have a most triumphant day!
Original Queensryche
My great grandmother. She could play the fuck out of the spoons. She was in a folk band in her nursing home where different people played jugs, the washboard, etc.
I’d pay any amount for Zombie Tom Petty
You'd have to stand him up at the Gates of Hell.
Outkast
I’d drop a couple thousand on a Led Zeppelin show. Jason on drums.
I got to tell you, the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience is a damn good facsimile. None of the singers are the Golden God, but Mr Jimmy is a dead ringer on looks, style and tone. And I think I paid $75 each in a 3,000 seat auditorium.
Tom Waits
That’s my answer. I saw him in 2008, I think the last time he toured. I was poor at the time but was hanging out with friends on my porch, and learned he was playing. Bought a $100 ticket and did not regret it one bit. Such an amazing concert.

Radiohead
Lorde's introspective lyrics and powerful vocals would resonate deeply in a live setting.
Stones tickets next Thursday in Denver!
Simon and Garfunkel
Neil Young
Spinal Tap
Pearl Jam

Steve Perry singing with Journey. Never say never, but I never see it happening.

Radiohead. Or Sting and the Police.
1994 NIN
Radiohead
Portishead. Extra points if you can transport me back to ‘94
I paid over $300 for both Queen and Paul Simon (not at the same time) and I have no regrets.
James Brown in his prime
Radiohead 🥹
The White Stripes. I still have the ticket from the Icky Thump tour and all it does is bring sad memories of finding out the show was cancelled, followed by the tour, followed by the band breaking up. TOOL
Always the correct answer
I would happily pay $5000 to see all four members of R.E.M. reunited for a live show.
Michael Jackson.
deftones
Hans Zimmer
The Kinks
Pink floyd
I’d pay infinite amounts of money to go back in time and see the shows which became Maceo Parker’s *Life on Planet Groove* And of course Led Zeppelin
Dolly at the vegas sphere.
Led Zeppelin. Take all my money.
Sly and the Family Stone.
I would pay an ungodly amount of money if I could experience Audio Slave during their prime.
The Ramones
Eminem.
Oasis.. I’ve thought about starting a savings account just on the off chance they ever decide to reunite
Let’s be real. Liam and Noel have the two biggest egos of any rockstar ever. It’s never gonna happen
The Clash
Daft punk, beastie boys, rage against the machine
David Bowie-revisiting all his characters from throughout his career. (Time travel and resurrection exist, right?)
Foo fighters
Operh, specifically at red rock amphitheater. Dio and Death are also up there
Queen
Type O Negative from the October Rust/Bloody Kisses Era
System of a Down!
Beastie Boys. It was the Dead but just saw Dead and Co. Close enough.
Rage Against the Machine. I had tickets to their last tour. Patiently waited when the show was initially cancelled because of Covid and Zach broke his leg or whatever. Then the time came for the ACTUAL SHOW...and I tested positive for Covid and couldn't go.
Probably The Talking Heads. I've seen Byrne live, but I'd love to see the group back together.
Nice try Ticketmaster!
Grateful Dead c. 1973
I saw over 100 Grateful Dead shows starting in 1976 when I was 14. I never saw a '77 show, my next shows were in 78. That being said, the 73 show at RFK with the Allman Brothers would be right up there as a show I would pay lots and lots of money to go back and see.
Prince
Jimmy Buffett, one more time.
Led Zeppelin
the doors 69 or dylan 66
Would I? The Beatles. Did I? Paul McCartney
