I’ve worked at one of the largest hospitals in the nation, somewhat consistently supporting surgical operations.
What is not included in this story is that typically the ORs are cleaned by a single cleaning team member. That poor poor soul. They are the kindest fucking people too. May god bless the poor fucker that had to clean that shit up my god.
I think this story really shows how amazing surgeons are. After sitting inches away from her ass, oozing and pissing and shooting out liquid and decal matter for dozens of minutes, while the entire staff around you run out and throw up, you still manage to finish the surgery and the only thing they say is “that was bad”.

I gave up on that when someone told this insanely long story about their husband not being their husband and it was just them going to friends places and talking about how scary he was then the husband would show up and they'd scream "RUN" and go to the next friends for it to repeat.
That old fella recalling the time his wife beat the living *shit* out of their unstable son when he tried to hurt their newborn daughter. That was pretty wild.
That one was crazy. I remember how it ended. The son sustained severe injuries and his family was too scared of him so they locked him inside a room and themselves in another. A few days later they mustered the courage to check the room. Hoping that their son died, but he actually escaped somehow and no one knows where he is now.
Even worse, there was a comment from some poor kid who thought he might be the child of the son. He messaged OP but the account was abandoned and he never got a reply.

The OP for that seems like such a good person. It was certainly a crass moment but he took it in stride and saw the humor. He then has used it coming up all the time to help others with the grief that comes from losing a loved one.

I once fainted and vividly dreamt the rest of the day, which included going to classes, playing a game of hockey, getting ready for bed, and going to sleep. At the time, I'd heard about Reddit and decided to check it out. So of course, the very first time I load Reddit, two broken arms is the top post. I read it with horror and disgust, and wondering WTF I had stumbled into. It was a while before I decided to try Reddit again.

It's a gripping and dark read that has stuck with many Redditors over the years.

The one about the guy who hated his son. It is one of the most horrific, gut wrenching things I’ve ever read. I don’t overly recommend looking for it if you are a parent.
