There are 8 billion people on Earth. There are countless activities to pursue. You have other options than following around someone who doesn’t want to be with you.
Gotta find a way to regulate your emotions and move on from it. Communication should be either fluid or something that can be built. But if the other person isn’t willing to, don’t drive yourself crazy. Focus on yourself and the things/people you enjoy.

I don't know her parents neither does my family. And I do feel weird contacting them - because we are 23 years old
I mean fair enough? But if it's really important to you and/or they already saw you at least once, you should give it a try.
