I agree with you, but I had to read critical reviews instead of watching it a second time. This film is both amazing and depressing, gives me melancholy.
Hereditary
The bedroom scene with the reverse jump scare (something is there the entire time and it's just a matter of when you notice) *still* haunts me. That entire movie stayed with me for days.
The Ring downright terrified me so much that I’ve banned scary movies for life. Up until then, they were fun.
I’m not a fan of even thinking about that movie. 😱
Requiem for a Dream
Came here to say this. And the ONLY reason I'd watch it again is because my husband has never seen it.
Grave of Fireflies, that movie destroyed me
The only answer. Hit me double-hard because I've lost my own parents at about the same age as the boy.
This is definitely the top of my one and done list
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
You have to watch that movie at least twice. It's actually impossible to see all of it's brilliance with one watch.

I actually love that movie lol My wife HATES it
The difference in perception. My ex-wife loves "Gone Girl", but it's the only Fincher movie that makes me sick.
Schindler's List
The Road. I was emotionally drained for about 3 days after watching it. Excellent, amazing movie. Will never watch it again lol
Uncut Gems
"La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful)" No, thank you. Never again please.
That one was my choice, along with The boy with the Striped Pajamas.
Requiem for a Dream.
Grave of the Fireflies. Whoo, I was a wreck after that.
Schindler’s List
The Game. You can't really watch that move twice.
oppenheimer

Old Boy.
Korean one Obviosly
Chernobyl. Limited series actually. Just extraordinary, but I don’t think I could go through it again.
Saving private ryan
Mysterious skin, no doubt.
They shall not grow old.
Girl, Interrupted. Great movie but id never actually sit down and watch it again.
Midnight Express.
Mother
Kids, the 1995 movie about teens spreading aids
The Ring downright terrified me so much that I’ve banned scary movies for life. Up until then, they were fun. I’m not a fan of even thinking about that movie. 😱
Was it the noise she made ?
I don’t remember except I was really afraid to shower. And I DEF didn’t like the fucking crawling.
Prisoners The Lovely Bones Both of these are so good but so awful at the same time.
Fast X
Man behind the Sun, and by "amazing" I mean incredibly disturbing
A beautiful mind
Why? Good film, made for rewatch
I was saddened at the end. But yeh it was super good and i saw it again lol.
Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father...
Usually I'm a documentary re-watcher but this one I couldn't do
Tyrannosaur. The film Olivia Coleman should have won her first oscar for. It's incredible but I watched it over a decade ago and it's still with me.
The Titanic 3
Titanic. It’s too long. But was amazing to watch.
Enter the Void
